23/01/2025: Visited Andersons for lunch. The service was friendly and attentive, and they were upfront about some kitchen delays, which we appreciated. The food was tasty, with plenty of lunch options to choose from on the menu. Overall, a solid spot for a casual and enjoyable meal!

11/11/2024: We received a postal delivery of mixed treats from 2210 Patissiere .An absolutely brilliant service and a really lovely surpise .
The treats inside the beautifully presented box, were totally delicious .
What a novel idea and a great business idea.

12/02/2025: Today I ordered a double sausages and egg mcmuffin meal with small coca cola and notice that this McDonald's in shannon is way dearer then any off the other McDonald's in the region. Can they just charge what they like plus they have a rotten costumer care in this place. If there was a zero star I would use it very bad

25/10/2024: I recently visited soda cakes and had mixed feelings about my experience. The food was fantastic—delicious and well-prepared, truly a highlight of my visit. However, the atmosphere was marred by the rude demeanor of the manager, whose unprofessional attitude towards the staff was hard to ignore and her lack of hygiene was not pleasing. It created an uncomfortable and unbearable vibe that detracted from the overall experience.
Additionally, I noticed that the barista could use some more training; I could hear the milk burning while my coffee was being made, which was a bit disappointing. With a few improvements in management and training, this cafe could really shine. I hope they take these comments to heart!

10/01/2025: I have been to this coffee shop a few times and each time I go it gets worse no atmosphere dirty floors tables filthy and not cleared off the walls have dirty fingerprints all over them the whole place needs a good freshen up and a deep clean

04/08/2024: We recently hired their function room, and they allowed us to decorate it as we like. Staff were wonderful, very attentive, and drinks were great value and spot on. My friends commented on the value, in fact! Denise organised the food, and it was delicious & plentiful. Can't thank them enough for a fantastic party.

Chicken wings were excellent.
Chips were an absolute rip off. €5.50 for an egg cup of chips. Rip off.
Beer battered onion rings were a heart attack waiting to happen. Very very greasy.
I had 2 pints of Guinness and it was lovely.
Would I go back? Only for the wings and the Guinness... Still can't get over the tiny portion of chips.
21/10/2024: We had a group of 10 adults and 3 children and everyone was delighted with their food and the service. I got the buttermilk chicken burger and chips and it was 10/10. They were so accommodating.

22/12/2024: A really nice cafeteria; one of the best on UCD campus in terms of quality and service. Food is cooked fresh every day, and the menu changes around weekly so always some variety and the price is affordable comparatively speaking to other food around the university. Staff are super nice, Laura and Jenny are lovely!

04/10/2024: We’ve just returned after two really enjoyable days at Townsend House in Birr. The warmth, hospitality and comfort at Townsend House was truly five star. The breakfasts were brilliant and the tapas last night were gorgeous and served brilliantly. Well done to Martin and Lorraine and their staff.

22/12/2024: Breakfast items mostly cooked in deep fat frier but overall for fry, toast and coffee then €13 was decent enough value. Club sandwich was basic bread and fillings but good portion.
Busy location filled with elderly locals. A community greasy spoon type venue.
