The best restaurants

29/10/2025: What a lovely trendy coffee shop. A relaxed friendly atmosphere, very reasonably priced and staff were polite friendly and very professional.

28/09/2025: Managed to get to use their app yous time and didn't realise I was entitled to a free coffee, great.

08/03/2026: Excellent welcome. Lovely rooms, but a bit dated. Breathtaking view of the Lee.

02/03/2026: I had a meal here with two friends and it was terrible. We ordered our food and opted to have to main course chicken wings but when they arrived there were only 8 in each bowl, we questioned it but we were unsatisfied with the answer. Our main course arrived and to say I could cook better myself is just terrible for a four star hotel. There was a lot of grizzle on mine and the chips were over salted. We chatted away and realised it was 40 minutes since we finished our mains. The waitress was drying cutlery and making noise as she was throwing them into a tray. We had to ask for the plates to be cleared and we ordered our tea and coffee!! As we waited the waitess continued cleaning the restaurant and then after 10 minutes she got out tea and coffee!!! No apologies!! Then it came to the bill, our chicken wings were charged at mains 15.95 for 8 wow that's 2 euro each and we were told was because they were Irish !! Seriously!!! We were finally charged for the small !! As we left, the three of us said never again !! We go to different restaurants around Cork City and this is definitely not one we will be returning to.

17/03/2026: Typical KFC but currently (Feb 26) the restaurant is closed as being refurbished but drive thru is open. Edit: restaurant is open!

13/12/2025: The food was amazing,they have a new chef who is excellent,btw first place i found in ireland making falafel that made me feel home (egypt),and cant talk enough about the service!

07/03/2026: My two friends and I went to Ryan's Pub last night to buy drinks, but when we reached the counter, the guy behind the bar refused to serve us because my friends were not wearing jeans, even though I was the only one wearing jeans. I then tried to buy drinks for all of us by myself, but he still refused to serve us. We also saw people wearing work clothes who had clearly come straight from their jobs without wearing jeans being served without any issue while we were refused. We have been to this pub a few times before without wearing jeans and never had any issues, yet suddenly there was a so-called new rule about what clothing people can wear. Ryan’s Pub is absolutely ridiculous. Why do they care about what clothes people wear? It shouldn't matter as long as we're paying them their weekly wages. It’s a pub, not a nightclub, and this so-called new rule completely ruined our experience, so we would not recommend anyone go there, and we will never be going back again.

24/02/2026: Went to watch the rugby match, big screen, loadsa room and not busy, it was great. Staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful.

21/02/2026: The food was borderline inedible. It was almost impressive how they were able to make a burger that was tasteless leave a bad taste in your mouth, and for €16 too! Not an awful spot overall, just has no vibe or food of a decent quality. Although the women of the group I was with did say that there was no soap in the women's bathroom. If you're going to the airport I would imagine there are better places nearby

14/02/2026: The food was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked without any pre-made products. The portions were very generous; you'll definitely leave satisfied. Everything was clean, and the service was friendly. I highly recommend it.

30/11/2024: Relaxed vibes with luxury treatment. The staff are excellent, professional, and attentive. The only down side to the menu is that I am not local so I can’t try it all. Each dish’s flavor profiles were married so exquisitely. Each bite made lasting memories as I savored every last crumb. This restaurant has set a new standard for me.

21/12/2025: The fish and chips were exceptionally delicious. The double cheeseburger and tasty chips are amazing. The portion sizes are large.

25/09/2025: Arrogant and rude staff refused to acknowledge my daughter and I, every time I tried to make eye contact the lad turned his back. Shop not busy, one customer stood back waiting for his order to cook, one old fella came in and the staff had time to speak to him, and answer a phone call, all while completely ignoring us. Walked out and spent my money in somewhere not staffed by men who culturally don't like engaging with women.

14/08/2025: Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, our waiter did an exceptional job! He was very personable and made our last meal in Dublin very enjoyable! Awesome Job, Moises!!!5

20/03/2026: My vegetarian pizza had pieces of pork in it Workers should be more careful about not letting meat mix in with other toppings. Also, not sure what the reviews are raving about. This was a pretty average pizza.

16/03/2026: Walked by and it smelled so good that I had to go in for a slice! All they had at the time was cheese pizza and honestly, it was amazing!!! I just added some CRP for some heat. 10/10 recommend!

22/01/2026: I'm Spanish and I barely speak English, and my first outstanding rating goes to the young man who served me. He was incredibly patient with me. He repeated things several times until I understood, always with a kind and respectful smile. Thank you!! And the next outstanding rating goes to the food!!!!! Oh my goodness, it was so good!!! I wish there was a restaurant like this in my city. I'll definitely be back before I return to Spain, and if I ever come back here again, I'll certainly be back. 100000% recommended!

22/01/2026: We came for 3 days from Spain, we went in and it's the best Mexican food I've ever tasted, everything was super good and the service was fantastic, we will definitely return before we leave 👏👏👏

21/11/2025: A small upstairs cafe that serves consistently strong coffee with a slightly artistic feel. The space is cosy and calm, perfect for reading or light work. Their almond croissants are a nice treat. A reliable stop if you appreciate simple, quality-focused cafés.

20/11/2025: A sleek, modern café right in the city centre with consistently good brews. The place stays lively without feeling chaotic. They always maintain quality, even during busy hours. Nice spot to recharge between errands or sit quietly with a pastry and coffee.

10/12/2025: I flew into to Shannon from the UK on a business trip. I ask a local man for recommendations to eat . He told me head to the pantry Inside a shopping mall. I took his recommendation and went to the pantry . The place was spotless and there was music playing to fill the place with a soothing atmosphere. I then approached the cashier to order and was met by a super friendly waitress named Caroline. She was ever so kind and friendly and made the most wonderful coffee I ever had . An absolutely lovely waitress. I sat down with the food brought to me at an efficient pace and eat pancakes with bacon and my god I was transported to another dimension. So overall great place to eat with a wonderful attententive waitress and great food . Thanks Caroline and thanks pantry . Five stars.

09/12/2025: The food was extremely overpriced and for the price of what I'd ordered i expected better quality, although service was quick I can't fault that, it was quite unnerving for one of the staff, I believe her name is Caroline to have stared directly at myself and my partner for the duration of our lunch as I'd actually caught her a few times and it was very off putting.
