19/10/2025: We are new Wicklow residents, this was our first time at Sparrows Nest and we were not disappointed. Excellent food, including Lamb Shank, which was tender and delicious and light and tasty tempura fish accompanied by a lovely French Rose. Our waitress, Alex, was extremely welcoming, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was busy, the atmosphere was warm and pleasant with a great buzz, but the front of house and kitchen staff were on the ball.
We will definitely be back!

15/06/2026: We had just the loveliest meal here. The food was a knockout. We had the crab toast and calamari for starters. Some brave people had oysters which I’m told were delicious. The stone bass fish special was amazing. We were so lucky on a clear day so the view was stunning. Also a shout out to the lovely Nicolo who looked after us and made our afternoon with his charm and good humour.
26/12/2025: Great pizza, I’d recommend the Dions special, Jimmy knows what he’s doing! Afrim and Brad are top men too, good food quick and friendly service.

07/06/2026: Staff extremely rude and ignorant especially the girl with light colored hair that was serving at the counter had a very big attitude problem staff could do with learning some customer service skills and how to make there customers feel welcomed instead of making them feel unwelcome in your establishment better atmosphere at a funeral..... Would definitely not come back again
