The best restaurants

09/03/2026: Excellent location as you are a 5 minute walk to St. Oliver Plunkett Street. There are many restaurants around that is very walkable. Rooms: Very clean and well organized. Bathroom was clean. Shower was okay but it went from hot water to slightly cold water a few times when you are showering. Parking: We parked at the underground parking the hotel recommended and it was well worth it as the parking lot is very clean and easy to park and navigate through. You could park at the hotel parking but it very limited parking. Breakfast: Breakfast buffet is great! it is an extra cost but we'll worth it as there arent any Breakfast spots open in the area before 9am. We'll worth the price you pay!

07/10/2025: Easily the best scones in Dublin. The Parlour in Blackrock is a little gem — great coffee, friendly chat, and a perfect spot to sit back and enjoy by the sea. The scones are traditional and done right, served with the all-important Dairygold (one for each side, as it should be) and proper jam. One of my wife and my favourite spots to wind down — simple, classic, unbeatable.

01/03/2026: 6 of us down from Galway for the weekend, stopped in here for a drink before a meal elsewhere, ending up returning after our meal and stayed for the evening. Great little old style pub, lovely locals & very attentive & friendly staff😊

16/11/2025: Fantastic pub and the team behind the bar with a good mix of youth and experience especially when me And my partner were in and a young man behind the bar with glasses was very helpful and considering we weren't from wexford he advised and served with a smile and their food yard is to die for

15/03/2026: My partner and I went for a lovely post-six nations meal and were not disappointed! I had told him how good the butter chicken was (my family and I had been before) and he really enjoyed it. I also thought it was lovely albeit too sweet- some similarities to a korma in some ways, and I thought the chicken wasn't quite as moist as the last time I had this lovely dish. Sauce however was super rich and buttery as it should be. The lamb bhuna was exceptional, full of great flavour and varied texture. The lamb was also cooked very well. We also had lovely starters, the samosa being my favourite! The service really stood out as being polite, considered, and very hospitable. We also really enjoyed the overall atmosphere in the restaurant. Thank you to the team at Chandpur, we will certainly be back!

19/03/2026: One of the best restaurants in Dun Laoghaire. With affordable prices unlimited sauce and a small element of self service it's a perfect place to go when you want a real meal.

06/03/2026: I have had food yesterday and I got food poisoning from there I have two businesses myself and I would not like to happen to any of my customers please be careful as the chicken is so bad

12/09/2025: 6pm today the 12th September. Place was filthy. Multiple empty tables with food and wrappers not cleared away. Flies crawling all over tables. The floor was disgusting and in a worse state than the bins pictured. Three staff members all standing around behind the counter chatting and laughing and oblivious to the filth around them. Not the first time we’ve been there and it’s a complete mess. Will definitely be the last time though.

30/12/2025: We booked for 19.00 arrived at 18.55, on arrival the floor staff were at the till arguing over someone bill...but unaware of about appox 10 person waiting to be seated..Also staff standing around with dirty tables to be cleaned...we were eventually guided to a table ...while the backlog of tables been cleaned & persons seated ...no organisation of staff or persons entering as we walked around & found meanus ...4 sets of families behind us entering had there order taken so I decided to wave as if I was in school...now I was wearing a sparkling top so u could not miss me !! ...eventually we ordered drinks for the 2 hr seating as I knew we would not get served again...while the starters arrived in 30 mins it was 1 hr after we arrived to the resturant..so while the main course arrived at 20.30 ...we would need a lock in to have desert...I would not recommend it as the lady with the white bow in her hair at the door was shouting at a male collague...( i thought that day was gone ) very uncomfortable watching with a 13yr old & hubby... food was good but will not be going back..catherine

20/10/2025: I'm sorry but just no no no . The place looks upscale and fancy and seemed like a lovely spot for a nice warm lunch. To say I was let down is an understatement . I got a burrito wrap it was cold on the inside hot on the outside and like warm the rest of the way not even a few crisps on the outside to satisfy the extortionate price i paid for what can only be described as a small to medium sized luke warm wrap . Work colleague with me got a bowl of soup that wouldn't have fed a cat and cost hom almost 10 euro. Mine was just as similar in price i paid like 16 euro for a wrap a packet of crisps and a bottle of coke. For something that wasn't even freshly made it was plucked out of a chilled cabinet and thrown in the microwave I'd say . Lovely staff but I'd avoid it cos of the stupid prices for poor food
