20/10/2025: We are locals. I wanted to bring our visitors from Madrid here for lunch on a rainy Saturday. They are foodies and I had explained that Savoir Fare is probably the best lunch spot in town and was recently recommended in The Irish Times. We arrived just before 12 noon and I was pleased to see empty tables because they don’t take reservations. I was told very bluntly “I cannot serve you”, because we were a group of 6. I asked if we could divide into 2 tables of 3 which were set for lunch and unoccupied. I was told “I will not split the group. I cannot serve you”. The way he said it was rude. The other diners were all watching. So we left. I stood outside on the pavement in the drizzle, super embarrassed in front of our visitors. Bruised, we walked up to The Clockhouse Cafe and after a short wait, we were seated. Not the same offering at all, but we were welcomed, and served with a smile.

01/07/2025: We discovered this wonderful pub during our Ireland road trip and what a fantastic find it was! The Anchor Bar is tucked away on a steep street, well off the beaten tourist path - which is exactly what makes it so special. This is where you experience authentic Irish pub atmosphere: cozy and rustic with beautiful maritime décor that perfectly suits Cobh. But the absolute highlight is the stunning view over the bay - simply breathtaking! The prices are very reasonable and the barkeeper (a genuine Liverpool fan) was incredibly warm and welcoming. We had wonderful conversations not only with him but also with the other locals - these are the moments that create the best travel memories. Anyone visiting Cobh who wants to experience an authentic Irish pub away from the tourist crowds should definitely stop by here. Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: Breakfast smoothie was like drinking pink water. Not as described on the menu. And i was overcharged, small breakfast and and watery smoothie €14.25. And on menu it's says free tea and coffee before 12 which I was charged for

20/10/2025: Lovely decorated cafe with an abundance of gorgeous cakes (haven't eaten any so can't comment) Unfortunately the unfriendly staff, who border on being rude, let's it down every time. The final straw was yesterday, Sunday, when I was left standing at the counter while the young waitress counted money at the till. She made no comment on the delay and totally ignored me. After 3/4 minutes, I gave an exasperated sigh & the male waiter, who was standing nearby, came to take my order. No apology & of course, no smile or comment made. Obviously people go there as it's a nicely decorated cafe with a great array of cakes. But I can take my business elsewhere where the customers are treated with some respect. We are after all, keeping these surly staff in a job

09/10/2025: Hi I love everything about Taste of Province. I come almost every, my family and friends meet me there a lot. One thing that is upsetting is the cleaner, she makes so much noise, pushing the tables and chairs around .

28/02/2026: Great little cafe ...very small inside, but covered outdoor seating also. Food delicious,very fresh & flavour-some...cakes/salads/soups all home made 🍰🥪 definitely worth a visit for wholesome food.

01/09/2025: We visited Bistro couple months ago ,some dishes were fine some were kinda soggy. Salads,chips,milkshakes are great in there but holy moly these wings turned me off.They were saturated in oil ,they were soft,I honestly expected them to be crispy but I suppose that's just my preference,was not happy for them .Anyways bistro now offers an Inidan cuisine that is just off the top good,fresh meat,lovely spice,hot dishes ,fresh rice just class.We have ordered indian couple times in last month and definitely reordering

27/02/2026: Temple Bar in Kildare. Nice place, good service, food - with the price and portion size & the quality it's doesn't add up. New Chef 🤔? ... ....Update: They are closed for good, now it makes sence...

21/01/2026: The food was fantastic at this restaurant! The service was but there were some personal that were a little rude. The atmosphere was pretty well with a flavour of Italian here and there.

15/02/2026: Pasha is my new restaurant they are doing absolutely great service. Comfortable dining area freshly home made kebab and naan breads I definitely would recommend

07/02/2026: The restaurant offers a buffet option, but it's not actually a buffet. It's a combination of six different dishes served together, and you can only take one. I don't know why it's called a buffet, but it's still a good deal.

01/03/2026: We went there to celebrate birthday. Very disappointed. My father in law ordered a fish. When arrived in a huge plate baerly could find the tiny piece of fish. Myself, my wife and son ordered a ribeye steak disappointed to,very chewe and not warm at all. Not mention the salty chips. I got a roast potato in duck fat- joke again.Spent almost 200e...

06/10/2025: Brilliant bar with a great atmosphere and very welcoming! Staff were chatty and great fun. The bar around the back is big and good fun! Would definitely recommend.

07/12/2025: The dishes were delicious, and you could really tell the ingredients were fresh. The flavors were just right—not too strong, not too mild. The staff were friendly and made the visit pleasant. I felt comfortable in the restaurant and would definitely return.

28/10/2025: This happened on Oct 28, 2025 @ 5:40 pm I'de give 0 sta I could. No smile No welcoming No greetings The lad at the reception just kept refusing my requests. I ordered the same thing as last week, and he said no we don't do that... We don't serve that... With an attitude, like he was telling me to go away... I still can't believe it! It never happened to me. And just small detail. I'm a decent person, clea, good looking and very polite. I'm sure I didn't do anything wrong. No person with dignity should go to this restaurant BTW I drove 30min to go there and I regret it.

17/03/2026: The Plaza is an amazing place to visit. Food, service and staff are fantastic. There's never an issue here.

05/02/2026: Popped in during the day was quiet and ordered a quick sandwich, what I got was outstanding ,a real tasty sandwich with fresh cut chips and tasty salad ,the coffee was really nice had two cups ,very good value and excellent staff,my compliments to all ,will be back with friends to sample more of the tasty food .
