10/03/2026: I have been a frequent customer here and at home over the last 10 years. The owner has allways been a gentleman and customer focused. However, the restaurant has had a manageress for a while and she really has no manners or appreciation for her customers, her poor attitude naturally rubs off the other floor staff, as I like many others I have noticed the drop in the good standards. My most recent experience and last straw for me was when I ordered a delivery, after waiting for 1.5hrs and no sign off the food, I phoned and cancelled my order. I spoke with the manageress. Well, I was spoken to like a child because I cancelled my order! The manageress really need to learn manners and show some respect for your customers whether they are long established or not. Moreover, when you don't deliver in the proposed time, you do not blame the customer for cancelling food that is 45mins late! More IMPORTANTLY, you don't charge the customer for a cancelled order!!! I don't believe the above would have happened had the owner been involved, but again, he was allways customer focused which is paramount to business success in the service industry.

The lady serving me (Dora) was too busy to listen to what I wanted and had to tell her three times as she was so busy chatting to another customer. Got my sambo and was charged €6.50. That’s a disgrace and shame on Flynn’s for Charging this Exorbitant price. Not my fault rents and rates have to be paid but that’s the last sambo I’ll be buying there. Disgraceful

The view is incredible especially if you sit outside, you can see almost the entire city, which makes for the perfect backdrop. 🌞🍹 I went with a cocktail and a small plate, and both were delightful well-made, refreshing, and perfect for a leisurely sip while taking in the view. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great spot for drinks with a view. Nothing over the top just good drinks, stunning scenery, and a relaxed atmosphere. 18/12/2025: First time here, not sure I would be back even though the food was tasty. I called ahead to order, asking if they take card payments, I was told no and that I could take money out in Centra at the ATM if needed. Order was a little slow but when it came to pay, I handed in the cash, 30 euros. I never heard so much complaining because I didn't have the exact change. Talking under his breath and making a big deal. If you don't take card payments and it's cash only, you should be able to give me back 6 euros without hassle and making me feel bad acting like I handed you a 100euro note.

15/08/2025: Little gem of a cafe. Came across it a few years ago and call in every time im in newbridge. Food is always freshly cooked and piping hot. Staff are very helpful too. Will continue to drive the 60kms from home to eat here anytime im in the town

28/10/2025: Visited Spice Village during my trip to Ireland and loved it. Warm ambience, attentive staff, and food that actually tastes like home, full of flavour, not just spice. Tried the chicken tikka masala, and it was spot on. Totally worth the price for the quality of food and service. Definitely recommend if you’re craving authentic Indian food done right.
