09/06/2026: Yep...it's 200 years old, and it shows its age. The staff are friendly and helpful, but this property is in need of significant renovations. My travel buddy suggested a wrecking ball and rebuild. It's beyond a good scrub, a lick of paint, and new mattresses. While I really appreciated the dry humour of the front desk staff, it was equally matched with the dryness of the scones served for breakfast.

06/06/2026: Central hotel with a convenient car park st the rear. Very helpful and kind staff. Food in restaurant was tasty and waiting staff were great.

10/06/2026: €12 euro for a slice of bread with 2 pepperoni slices on it :( sorry yall but this gotta go that’s a robbery :(

03/06/2026: Place was good. Food was nothing overly fancy but ticked the boxes. One staff on the floor and counter. Nice and seemed to be well liked by the regulars. Tables could use an update a bit rocky and don't really suit the stone interior. Extention lead hanging on the chair was a bit odd. Overall a nice enough experience.

06/06/2026: We booked the Bounty bar accommodation for one night. Great staff, lovely room, great location right in the centre of Trim. Trim is a great place great music bars and friendly people. Had a great time.

01/09/2026: An old traditional Irish pub in Bantry, County Cork. It has several interesting relics, pictures and posters, the most prominent of which is one of the few surviving relics from the sinking of the Lusitania in 1916. They have a lfe bouy from the ship which was retrieved after it sank.

25/08/2026: Fantastic local hospitality - the friendly landlord was happy to put our team's match on the TV, and we then had a great couple of hours chatting to him and the other regulars about all things football and Ireland. Thanks for a great experience.

18/08/2026: apart from the fact that it can be a bit dear, the food is excellent and the busy place is busy for a reason. if you want crepes, waffle, a good sandwich or a quiche lorraine, you will have that and it's actually excellent.

06/08/2026: Staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant was nice and clean, plenty of seats available. The only gripe was the food, with some of it pre-cooked and reheated in a convection oven, and anemic toast. The tea was good though. I guess I expected more for €13 in total. Overall, not too bad

27/07/2026: Sena served us today and was so friendly and welcoming. Excellent service, great coffee, and a delicious breakfast pot. Highly recommended!

29/08/2026: It’s nice inside, we were excited to see a “gin parlor” at the back of this bar we randomly entered but oh my god after 10-15 minutes of waiting at a not very packed bar we received the literal worst “very dirty old faithful martini” one could imagine. It’s undrinkable. There are about 45 dirty glasses stacked up on the bar—most still have drinks in them. Management REALLY needs to support their staff, i imagine.

13/09/2026: Had the Capri pizza.. had shrimp and rocket on it... delicious pizza..great crust and sauce.

05/09/2026: Firstly I like this place and the service was get. I had the chilli and garlic prawn spaghetti but was not too impressed. Prawns were way overcooked. Taste was extremely bland. I don't think , for Italian, which in my opinion is hard to get wrong, is the worst I've had. I didn't finish it and that's a first for me. So I'm sorry but very disappointed. My wife's dish was good and she enjoyed it. Good for her!!.

22/08/2026: Nice place, but not worth the hassle. Let down by icky QR code system. The coffee just up the road at the wheelhouse is a little tastier, a euro less, and no hassle to order. Staff at the counter were nice but couldn't take my order (one coffee) - sent me to a table with a QR code. QR system wouldn't accept an order until I handed over my email address and phone number (even when I selected 'no account, order as guest'). Icky & slow, I won't be doing it again.

19/08/2026: We walked into this pub expecting to have a lovely family evening, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing from the moment we arrived. The bar woman was extremely confrontational and immediately made us feel unwelcome, particularly because we had children with us. She asked, “What are you doing?” We explained that we had come in for some food, to which she simply replied, “No.” We were quite taken aback and then discovered that food was only being served Thursday to Saturday, and it was Wednesday. That in itself wouldn’t have been an issue, but we were never offered a drink, a seat, or even given the opportunity to ask about anything else. It was the manner and attitude that really left a bad impression. We were out as a family and expected a friendly welcome, but instead felt very unwelcome from the moment we walked through the door. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we wouldn’t recommend this pub.

07/08/2026: Probably one of the best kept secrets around. It's a kebab shop but half the price compared to Zatoons and others around town but food a little bit better. Even though it's a kebab shop, they also have an Indian menu and the chefs is awesome. Throw yea something together in a few. Lamb Rogan Josh top quality.
