24/08/2026: Paid for a meal at the drive thru, no fries included when I got home

17/08/2026: I went to the drive thru with my friends where we ordered 4 chicken guojons meals. We were asked to park and wait which we did. The young lad who dropped us out our food then promptly told us to “now F*** off” when he dropped us out our food. I’ve never been spoken to like this in my life and I worked in food service for 7 years. Will not be going back. Very very disappointed with this young man’s attitude

28/04/2026: Best chips in area. They obviously change oil on a regular basis.

05/07/2026: Excellent pub, great to watch sport good beer and friendly staff!

24/05/2026: Friendly locals, good pint of Guinness and lots of TVs if you're a sports fan. Staff are very welcoming.

09/08/2026: Food use be very good I got roast beef veg was wet on plate mash disgusting and then the beef was freezer burnt

26/08/2026: So many stories to share. Was made to feel like a local from the first time we walked in off the street. Food, service and the atmosphere are fantastic. Even the locals stopping in for a pint on their way home are friendly. Stop in and ask Mustafa for a pint and what’s good on the menu.

28/07/2026: my girls and i 🍷, had a very disappointing experience with genoa, for starters we had a rude employee talk to us over the phone and when we asked can we pay half and half they said yes, when the delivery driver arrived he demanded we pay all cash when they said ok the phone we could pay half and half, the delivery driver was a genuinely kind patient man and was waiting for us to pay, all in all me and my girls had a dissapointing experience with this company and we will think twice from ordering here again.

10/09/2026: Used to adore this place and I am only giving 3 because of lovely staff,like I said used to love to come here but today and last few times I was disappointed that prices are high but quality and amount of food you get for spending more has dwindled ,I thought it was a one time thing but it is not ,very disappointing,also contacted them through Instagram,showed them difference from before and last 2 times and not even I am sorry or anything from them ,disappointed

16/09/2026: This place was such a rip off! We paid 44 euros for the worst coffees, toasts. Also 9 for two scones??? The sandwiches were so bad and they costed us 14 euros. We were shook when our total came up to 44 for 3 coffees, 2 scones, 1 sandwich and 1 toast with butter. Get better elsewhere Honestly! Save your money

18/09/2026: With over 20 years on the Shannon boating, the ferry inn was never a marked stop off due to always going through the swing bridge in portumna, and heading somewhere else on the lake. But in 2025, that all changed. And it's now become a must stop off point One of the crew onboard was Hungarian, and wanted to watch Ireland and Hungary in the world cup playoffs. The Staff were very accommodating to our request and were very welcoming, food on both occasions in 2025 & 2026 was decent and the ambience is nothing like it on the Shannon or Erne. It's great value for money.

01/09/2026: A big shout-out to Shauna, the chef-----definitely one of the best kebabs I've had in years. I highly recommend it.
