The best restaurants

24/09/2025: I go there with my dog and partner a lot to support the local business, and some days we even go for both breakfast and lunch and we always leave tips on the card machine. This time they didn’t have the sandwich I wanted and I only ordered a take away so I skipped the tips for the first time. And you can see the complete 180 degree of attitude switched that the 2 girls had there. It was very bad vibe and energy when I left. The people there used to be cool, not like this.

10/08/2025: Brunch was absolutely lovely! I had an açai bowl which was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, plus a hot chocolate that was really good. Great spot for a relaxed weekend treat!

10/05/2026: Delicious chips and JD cokes but restaurant on Google maps says permanent closed why ?

01/05/2026: Incredible staff, the owners were lovely people. We had our 1 year old with us and they all made us feel incredibly welcomed. This is the only place I’ll be staying next time around!

17/04/2026: My Swiss friend and I had a lovely experience in Daly's this evening. We had amazing cocktails there before heading off for sushi and then following stuffing our faces, we knew we had to return for another delicious cocktail. The cocktail guy was so professional and charming , he made us older lassies feel very special. His own creation , the Dusky Rose , was very special. The Blueberry Margaritas were divine! Highly recommend the experience. Sit at the bar so you can watch him mix up these super cocktails. Reasonably priced too for what you're getting. Great pub all round. Lovely pizza available too. A Mullingar gem.

11/03/2026: Lively bar, surprisingly large inside - just keeps going! Don’t miss band nights as always great music. Attracts a crowd so expect a short wait at weekends.

15/05/2026: This was the old Red Parrott bar . The new owners have definitely given this bar and lounge a new lease of life 🙌. Nice to see pubs opening instead of closing well done lads .

09/03/2026: This is a very special neighbourhood pub! The pints are excellent, the cocktails are delicious and the staff are lovely! Playlist is always on top form too

01/05/2026: I stopped there for a quick lunch but they're selling items 50% more expensive than other McDonald's. 15.40 for 9 chicken selects??? You really think you are a restaurant don't you? And as a bonus, staff can barely speak and the place smells like old burned oil.

28/04/2026: Surprisingly enough this is the best McDonalds I’ve been. My boyfriend he is carnivore and I’m vegetarian and both option were absolutely delicious. The fries were as fresh as it can get, not sure why it had bad reviews

08/06/2026: We were staying in the area and stopped in this pub on a Sunday evening. Everyone, from staff to the local patrons, was so pleasant and they made us (Americans) feel welcomed! We had the best evening enjoying the true Irish spirit. I want to return to this area because of our experience at Daly’s. The food was good and the staff were attentive. Thank you all for this wonderful experience.

03/06/2026: The kitchen has recently changed management at Daly’s. We went for lunch long after lunchtime and long before dinner time but still within the lunch menu window which meant that the stew and the apricot tart made for lunchtime had all been eaten by those who had gone before us. The menu is very short and it is pub grub - roast of the day, pasta with a couple of different sauces, sausage and mash, steak sandwich, etc. Pub grub at its best is great comfort food, and this is what is coming out of the kitchen now if our experience is anything to go by. You party of three went for the roast of the day (chicken), the roast in a sandwich with mushrooms and fried onions, and pasta with mushroom sauce. He who had the pasta had said he wasn’t hungry and announced his intention of taking most of it home to eat later. That intention lasted for about one bite and the delicious crusty roll made in house that came on the side was used to scrape every last drop of sauce off the bowl. The roast sandwich came in one of the same rolls, crisp and crunchy on the outside, with the soft middle soaked in juices, and in the roast dinner the vegetables were bright and fresh, the mash buttery, and the half chicken plump and tender. We shared a huge bowl of simple, delicious, stewed apple with real custard scattered with buttery shortbread crumbs. It takes a lot of confidence for a kitchen to serve this sort of old fashioned country food nowadays. Daly’s with its current chef demonstrates that done properly it can be very good indeed. Main meals for three and one dessert with two coffees, two soft drinks, and a glass of Guinness came to €47

15/06/2026: Quite disapointed by this ramen to be honest... 21€ for any ramen is making me expect a magnifique ramen but to be fair the pork is super nicely done but the rest was not up to the standard I was expecting. It's good but not worth the hype. Restaurant is full very fast so better take a reservation.
