06/11/2025: I recommend Friendly staff and great restaurant. 👌👍

03/10/2025: The Coach House Hotel is in a good area close to Galway and has pubs, cafe and gas station within a few steps. We had an issue with our room as the drains were completely clogged for the sink and shower which made it very hard to use and our heat wasn’t working. We mentioned this to the staff in the evening and again to a staff on the overnight shift. No one offered help and asked us to ask someone else on the next shift. We only stayed one night however I would say the service is very poor here due to our room issues. The breakfast is also an additional 15 euros per person which we opted not to get.

19/08/2025: We had one great night at the fleadh in this pub. However, on hhe second night we complained about the quality of the pints ( a new keg had been opened). We asked for new pints, which we were given. Then the barman tried to charge us for both sets of pints. We argued about the quality of our drink with the person in charge to no avail and unfortunately we left the pub feeling very unsatisfied. I just felt it was very bad customer service.

12/08/2025: Managed to squeeze in for two sessions during the Fleadh. Absolutely magic, amazing talent on both days. Unfailingly polite security staff. Good cold beer. Highly recommended.

16/03/2026: Disappointing to find pub was closed even thought it advertised as opened. No answer I called when I called the venue.

24/02/2026: From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Our server knew the menu inside out and made great recommendations. The food was outstanding: each dish beautifully presented with bold, fresh flavors. We especially loved the perfectly cooked mains and the dessert was the best we’ve had in ages.

30/01/2026: Amazing food , really busy place and sometimes you need to run to find someone to support , our order getting lost and one of the staff with really , don't care attitude with our request for our baby high chair.

17/03/2026: This establishment undeniably offers some of the finest fish and chips I have ever encountered. Their Irish Cream coffee also merits commendation.

28/02/2026: It may be a settings issue with the machine, but the takeaway order I placed last night for an extra hot chai latte and an Americano resulted in drinks that were so lukewarm and tepid that it was possible to stir the "hot" chocolate with my finger. As I had been asked twice if "extra hot" was what I ordered, I didn't see any point in complaining to the staff as they were trying to make what was ordered.

23/02/2026: The food here is lovely especially the baked goods like the carrot cake and protein balls, but the wraps and and sandwiches are not very filling. This place is lovely to come to for a coffee, chat and something small. I go here every morning for my cup of coffee for a fiver and I am always greeted with a smiling face and the coffee is always good!

18/12/2025: Today I went out for lunch with my friend and we were served by Alba! She was incredibly lovely and attentive with us, and I’ll definitely be coming back!! Everything is really delicious and at a great price!!

17/03/2026: What was €12 is now €20. You could eat in 80% of Dublin restaurants for the price of a takeaway main course here now. Why bother?

16/03/2026: The spice bag with a side of curry sauce will literally have me dreaming for weeks. I visited Dublin and got one of their very well priced spice bags and it was delicious. The flavor profile of the chicken and fries alone is great, but when you add the curry sauce it’s somehow even better. One bag is more than enough to share for two people. Space in the restaurant is limited but the food comes out hot and is extremely easy to take out instead.

07/12/2025: Superb. Ambience, festive decor. Amazing team. Warmest welcomes with smiles. Beautiful setting. Incredible menu, food choice & cocktails. Family birthday celebration for my husband with his sisters down from Dublin. Busy spot always. Booking advised. All round venue for scones & Tea, breakfast, luncheon and evening meals. Classy venue.
