The best restaurants

21/08/2026: The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The beef fried rice was especially good—the beef was tender, juicy, and full of flavour. We were just passing through by car, and the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As we only needed a simple place to have our meal, the owner kindly provided us with a small table and even thoughtfully offered us some hot water. It was such a warm and considerate gesture. The restaurant is conveniently located just a short drive from Rosslare Harbour, right along the roadside. There is plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant, which makes it very convenient for anyone travelling by car. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through Rosslare Harbour!

11/06/2026: My friend and I tried this Nigerian food for the first time. Really positive experience and none of the food was too spicy for us! The portion sized were decent too! We really enjoyed the plantain and jollof rice but the meat on the rice was very tough. The dodo gizzard had a nice, spiced flavour to it. It had plantain and chicken gizzards. Some of the chicken gizzard was tough but the flavour profile was nice! It was my first time have chicken gizzard and I was a bit nervous about it but the meat taste is very mild! Unfortunately neither of us enjoyed the Egusi or Ogbono. They had a very strong fish taste, which might be typical of the dishes but we didn't enjoy it. I didn't know that when we ordered but sure look! You live and learn! The fufus were nice! The white fufu was a smooth texture and the brown fufu had more of a grainy feel to it. I liked the white fufu more and my friend liked the brown one more so there was no fights between us! 😅 The staff were very lovely and helpful! I'll definitely be back to try a few more dishes in the future!

22/08/2026: Had a nice hot peppermint tea with a cookie. Sat outside to enjoy my break. Recommended for solo travellers.

12/08/2026: Grand coffee, though they gave me the wrong order even after I corrected the cashier upon hearing him say it wrong. Truly terrible ham and cheese sambo. Bad enough that it inspired this review. Clearly been in the fridge a long time with wilted lettuce and everything just much too cold. The single slices of cheap cheese didn't go any distance to filling the bread. The area they've been granted outside is the only real positive.

29/08/2026: Libero's chipper, simply the best. Used to come here in 70's & 80's and recently moced back to the area, so thrilled this amazing family business is still going strong. Great chips, fab Burgers & friendliest customer service Ronan

23/05/2026: In my opinion, Libero’s in Deansgrange is the best fish and chip takeaway in the area. The portions are always generous and the smoked cod is absolutely to die for. Their garlic sauce is unreal as well. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and if you order delivery it’s consistently fast and efficient. Proper old-school quality takeaway.

09/05/2026: Wonderful hotel for 3 guests. Central location and nice staff. Music played outside until 1-2 am is a deterrent. Everything else was great but the outside atmosphere was tough to deal with every night. Again not the hotels fault, but definitely something to consider

12/08/2026: Genuinely horrible place. I went with my friend (we are both 15) and the workers over charged us and didn't give us all our food. One worker shaked my chair in anger and she was getting in mine and my friends face shaking her hands in out face. I tried to tell her to stop getting mad and just to at least explain what was wrong to us. But all she wanted to do was yell and try to intimidate us. I made it very clear to her that we were both children and that I was overstimulated and stressed. It got so bad to the point my friend was sobbing crying because of the way she was yelling at us. I finally asked to get a refund since we weren't getting anywhere, my friend went up to get the refund and when that happened the other women tried to give out to me alone which I simply told her I didn't want to talk to her. I apologize for the bad grammar but my experience here was genuinely so horrible.

08/08/2026: Lovely staff, but very overpriced food. We went because we didn't have time to shop around with 3 hungry kids in tow, but the food was so, so basic, especially for the price!...crazy expensive for the quality, which was poor, like cheap ingredients with sauces and MSG on top. McDonald's would have been better.

24/04/2026: There was no atmosphere, and there were only two of us in the restaurant. The food was good, but there wasn't even any bread on the table. They only offered bottled drinks. The restrooms weren't very clean. We only ate the main course.

17/03/2026: This is now a Chinese the 3 in one with the curry sauce is lovely and the spring rolls are lovely too

22/09/2026: Really enjoyed our meal at Red Torch Ginger in Maynooth. The food was full of flavour, nicely presented and the portions were generous. The crispy tofu rice dish was especially good, with a nice mix of textures, and the pancakes were a great side to share. Everything arrived hot and fresh. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was friendly. A very solid choice in Maynooth if you’re looking for Asian food, and I’d happily come back again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

22/03/2026: My recommendation is not to stay in this hotel or not to support this hotel in any way. It has 2 floors open to the public the rest of the hotel is for the International Protection Accommodation Service (IPAS). Such a pity I used to love this hotel and its location for work purposes. Very sad to see it operating in this fashion - taking taxpayers money etc.

15/03/2026: Held event & team were amazing. The room is big without being too big. A lot nicer than standard conference room you get in hotel.

10/09/2026: A must visit when in Ireland! The rhubarb crumble with a scoop of ice cream is absolute bliss. Great coffee, cozy atmosphere, friendly people... Everything you could want or need.

06/09/2026: Located in Enniskerry. A lovely day weather wise when l visited. Seating outside, so Customer's outside availing of the good weather. Seating inside and a good atmosphere. A very busy spot. Lots of choice, and good value. Stepping inside there is more Seating than you would expect. Good location. Child friendly. The Staff were wonderful. Bit hard to find parking.

20/08/2026: Absolutely loved celebrating our engagement party at Zanzibar Waterford! The drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere was brilliant, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect from start to finish and made our special night even more memorable. Couldn’t recommend Zanzibar enough

06/09/2026: I'm really glad this place re-opened for takeout after over a year, the food is absolutely amazing! We already tried several dishes on the new menu, and the peratha is just as delicious as it used to be. For lassi lovers, I highly recommend the mango-saffron!
