The best restaurants

31/08/2026: Have had a takeaway from this place a few times and it never disappoints! Had another great one tonight, generous spice bags and the food always arrives hot!

16/08/2026: I found eventually a great Chinese takeaway absolutely delicious 😋 and delivery was great 👍ordered again from Scent everything is still absolutely fabulous 👌 👏 👍 and delivery is still great keep it up Scent doing a great job 😀 😋ordered again last night still brilliant 👏 delivery great 👍 good job again 😀

19/06/2026: Posting after many visits over the years. Famous for their chips etc. but we prefer sandwiches for lunch and these are simply the best sandwiches in or near Derry. None of your mayonnaisy mixes, fundamentally delicious home cooked chicken in thick slices with always fresh and crisp salad items plus delicious fresh bread. Big pot of excellent tea. Have yet to meet a member of staff who was not friendly and helpful. Quite mystified at some negative reviews.

28/04/2026: Excellent as always. Wholesome food done well Thank you.

14/08/2026: Fabulous place with very good food. The service is very friendly and quick. The atmosphere is very friendly and a community feel to it. A lovely spot for a breakfast, lunch, dinner or a quick catch up with friendly. No need to book just walk in.

01/08/2026: Even in such a small shop, you can get a really delicious cappuccino. ☕️😋

06/06/2026: This place is fine dining disguised as casual. Loose and laid back, Victor returned my call and fit us into a busy night with incredible service. The small plates were tasty and not heavy. This is a perfect stop between a day of touring heading back into Cork.

06/06/2026: They were able to fit us in at the last minute on a busy Saturday night. We were absolutely blown away by the creativity of the menu and the food was outstanding. Our server, Victor, was friendly, helpful, and made our meal one of the most memorable we had in Ireland.

21/09/2026: Can’t fault KFC for the surrounding food court, which is quite open so atmosphere loses a couple of stars. Food was exactly what you’d expect and the staff were really accommodating.

14/09/2026: Unpleasant service; we ordered two Twister wraps, but there was hardly any sauce, and the wrap itself looked like a child had rolled it—I do not recommend it. I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because of the chicken; I won’t be buying this again.

30/08/2026: Pure muck Ordered 2 starter takeaway All burnt Dog would not even eat it Never again

18/08/2026: Got a Thai red curry from here and it was delicious. Generous amount of chicken too.

05/09/2026: Have a lovely early dinner here this evening. Food was really tasty and plenty of it. Service was efficient and friendly. Overall a lovely meal that was value for money 💰

31/08/2026: Really nice spot for a bite to eat. Food is always good and the staff are friendly.

05/07/2026: Great local pub with a wonderful sunny outside area, real family place.

02/07/2026: Typical local pub in Kimmage. Cozy lounges.

09/09/2026: The food here is really good. My 14 year old daughter tried sushi for the first time and really enjoyed it. We shared the house mixed plate. My wife had a chicken noodle dish. The dessert was only ok. I had sticky toffee pudding but the toffee was not melted on top. That was the only downside. All in all it was a nice experience.

02/09/2026: I love food there and the Saturdays all you can eat offers, however today I’ve stumbled a strand of hair in my sushi Role as I bit into it.

28/08/2026: Fantastic chicken kebab and fish and chips, also vegetarians will enjoy their veggie based alternatives as my second half is vegetarian and really liked veggie kebab 👌

23/08/2026: worst experience ever the wait was over an hour and the food was even worse

05/08/2026: Nice food but abit expensive and they have service charge.

31/07/2026: The service was typical hong kong service good and attentive but without the western niceties. Nothing to complain about. The food was honestly the worse chinese I've had ... I ordered the "homemade noodles" "soup" with duck. No joke the entire bowl was filled to the brim with rice noodles , clearly not homemade, barely any soup and on top there was a starchy stir fry with veggies and a couple of pieces of duck. It barely had any flavour and it was just sad to eat. You couldn't even call it a noddle soup it was just noodle with a side of soup and 3 pieces of duck. For 12£???? I could have made it better at home... Im sure their meat dishes are good as the table next to me looked like they were enjoying it....

04/05/2026: The nicest food from a chipper in a long long time

07/03/2026: Best takeaway food in county Meath. The tower grill burger with bacon and cheese is a must. Chips portions are big and taste fantastic❤️❤️ Burger sauce dip is lovely also

13/06/2026: Great spot with a savage outdoor area, owner is a gent

22/05/2026: Great bar. I really like this place. It caters for all age groups easily. Lovely area out the back. Great pint, great service and staff. They cater for all sports fans but it's not consuming the atmosphere.

27/06/2026: Lovely spot, great bear and atmosphere!

14/06/2026: Enjoyed our first beverage at this local place! Cozy atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

21/06/2026: Attended a 21st upstairs and it was a great night. Lovely space and great service.
