17/01/2025: Very small portion. Got a toasted baguette. It was the same as the baguettes that come with a chicken fillet roll but it was only half that size and then cut lengthwise. Thought maybe they had run out of bread or something.

16/12/2024: Only stopped for the one drink on a Sunday afternoon. Staff were friendly. Plenty if families eating so seems to suit all kinds of ages. Didn't really sample the services so can't give a stronger review.

05/12/2024: The building looks a bit run down & might be off putting but the chicken is delicious. Original recipe (KFC) really tasty, juicy & decent portions. They had a black Friday special on the day we were in & all meals were €5, a great deal!!

13/01/2025: "Disappointing Experience – Bland Food, Overpriced, and Poor Service" We visited this restaurant with high hopes for a nice family meal, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. There were four of us, and we ordered a variety of dishes to get a good sense of what the menu had to offer. We started with the Goat's Cheese Mousse Salad, Pâté, Arancini Balls, and Chicken Salad. All were incredibly plain, overpriced, and lacked any real flavour. For starters, these dishes could have been served at any budget restaurant, but here they were marked up far beyond what they were worth. For the main course, we went with the Duck (€40), Lamb (€40), and Dover Sole. The Duck was dry, bland, and came with just a few baby carrots and flavorless potatoes. The Lamb was overcooked and equally tasteless. The Dover Sole was completely dry and lacked any seasoning or richness. What really left us feeling deceived, however, was the price. We would have been disappointed with the food even at a lower price point, but when you’re paying €100 per person, it’s simply not acceptable. To make matters worse, the service was lacking—staff didn’t even bother to serve our wine, and our Calypso Coffee arrived cold. The only redeeming feature of the evening was the Margarita cocktail, which was actually quite nice. We will definitely not be returning. When you're paying premium prices, you expect premium food and service, and this restaurant failed to deliver on both.

26/11/2024: Was this some kind of a joke?!?! Don’t order the 50/50 unless you want onion rings that look like they were gathered underneath the deep fryer. Absolutely disgusting!

30/10/2024: I was really disappointed to see a much smaller menu than what im used to seeing in Rockets. I found it much more difficult to decide on what I wanted as all the best stuff was gone from the menu.

01/10/2024: Staff very friendly. Service was fast but didn't feel like we were being rushed, quite a relaxed atmosphere. Food was lovely, albeit the portions were not very big and expensive for what you get but main reason for losing a star is, despite saying vegetarian/vegan options available there was one main, a stir fry with a bit of rice which was also vegan but there were no vegetarian starters, I was able to get one adapted by asking for no parmesan cheese, which is not a vegetarian cheese, and they obliged but overall disappointed with there being no choice. We did not get a dessert as none of the options really appealed to us. It also wasn't marked what ones, if any, were vegetarian, cheese cake, trifle and tiramisu being three of the options that sometimes contain gelatine.

03/01/2025: Stopped here while on a road trip. Good coffee and hot chocolate. Service was great. The bartenders were extremely kind.

15/01/2025: I had the most wonderful time at Myles Creek Guest House. I stayed for 4 nights just to read, hike and relax and it was the perfect location and accomodation. Lovely staff in the restaurant/bar that made my stay feel homely and authentic. The atmosphere was very calm, being close to the beach and hiking trails was perfect.

30/11/2024: Stayed here many rooms ago. Summer time it's a vibrant place and was back here for dinner lately and bravo...it was excellent with a family atmosphere added to the mix. I shall return Myles Creek. Keep up the good work.

08/10/2024: Walking through Mullingar we fancied a bit of lunch after doing the greenway we came across this place. Definitely worth a visit for lunch. Staff were professional and very friendly. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.
