09/11/2024: Great food and very friendly staff. Super clean and food is cooked to perfection. Food is fresh and the homemade brown soda is delightful. 2 full Irish Breakfasts were ordered and devoured. Extremely tasty. Would highly recommend. Reasonably priced.

15/02/2025: Myself and my family dined in your restaurant on a mini break just before Christmas. We were staying in the lovely Millpark hotel and I can honestly say the food was absolutely glorious! The menu is extensive and varied...something to suit everyone. I had the chicken tikka which was out of this world, so creamy and full of flavour. My son (4) was with us and fell in love with the tiger teddy sitting on the floor, so the lovely waiter brought it over to our table for the duration of our meal! It was so considerate and my son was delighted. We had starters, mains including sides and also dessert and the bill was extremely reasonable. There was not one thing I could possibly complain about. Food arrived promptly and the staff were friendly and professional. To anyone reading this who is thinking about visiting this wonderful restaurant, please do not be deterred by the ridiculous negative (bot) reviews recently added. They do not in anyway reflect the standard of this restaurant. I would however encourage you to report the nasty hateful comments directly to Google like I have done. Comments like these are damaging to small businesses and in times like these we need to stand together to ensure quality restaurants like Chandpur continue to prosper. On a different note myself and my family will be returning to your fantastic restaurant again in March and I'm already hungry just thinking about it!

06/02/2025: The place is decorated with all awards won in past years and random pics of people but I don't get the hype of this place. The place was filled with Irish people which is when I realised I made a bad choice. They had no table to seat us, so went for a takeaway. The staff weren't even patient to take our order properly. They missed the rice we were supposed to get with the curry. The Naan was thick as a pillow and chewy as a damp newspaper and I wouldn't even wipe my butt with it. Raita was sweet as a pudding suitable for Western taste buds. The salad was better than the raita tbh. I better eat a couple of poppadoms with the curries instead of the Naan. I never recommend this to anyone even in my dreams or next life or under influence. Sorry for those white people who enjoyed the night there thinking this is authentic Indian food. Step up your game for a better response from Indians.

02/12/2024: Customer service was great. We are not from town and we were very late getting dinner. This dominos was the only place close to us and it was nearly closing time. Staff Gustai was so kind and patient taking & fulfilling our last minute order. We appreciate it!

26/08/2024: The owner is so kind and all the food/drinks were fantastic! We loved it so much, we got a big box of pastries to go. If we ever come back to Ireland, this Cafe and city is a place we have to visit again. Favorite stop on a 10 day journey around Ireland.

09/12/2024: Very disappointed. No longer any semblance of an Irish chipper. Chips weren't fresh. Come on guy, bad chips?? Cheeseburger was tiny, bland and over-priced at €4.50. The 4-in-1 was under sized, relatively tasteless and dry because there wasn't enough sause included to bind the other ingredients together.....and it cost €8! Bill came to €16.50 for those 3 basic items. Now I understand the name....my cheeseburger was consumed with one "Big Bite". Needless to say, I won't be spending my money there again.

13/11/2024: I went in for breakfast like i do a few times a week to this place i always order my own breakfast not one on menu which is pretty normal this morning the owner refused to let me order my usual which i found very strange as i only order 7 items compared to the 8 or 9 they give u on there 10e fry.yoube ashamed of yourself treating a regular customer like this

20/10/2024: It's in the centre of town and breakfast is good for €10 all day and you can have tea coffee or cold drinks.

30/01/2025: This used to be one of my fav places to go and recommend, but unfortunately my last two experiences have been disappointing. With my most recent experience, the service was extremely slow. The sourdough was not fresh and was hard, my pasta dish was cold, undercooked and sticking together. I also had to ask more than once for the glass of wine I ordered. I was told they could only allow us have the table for 1hr 20m, so we were conscious of the time ticking away with the slow service. I'd hate to see this restaurant go downhill because it was an old reliable of mine. Would find it hard to recommend again.
