The best restaurants

27/01/2025: I cannot recommend Dora Mays Catering enough. She took an order last minute and the service was amazing. The sandwich platters are to die for and everyone commented on how good they were and how fresh the bread was. I will definitely be ordering again.

19/01/2025: The girls are great!! Needed some catering last miniute and the girls helped me out big time with the nicest sandwiches ever, it's always a good sign when there's none left over 🙂 So helpful and lovely to deal with, will deffo be back! Thanks again girls!

10/09/2024: 0 rating .The owner should be Ashamed of himself refusing to allow Children in Was going in there with my partner for a quick drink while we had some time to kill had our daughter with us and owner just said no in very ignorant tone of voice Wonder does he realise children are human too and he was once a child himself and children are human beings too It's not first place at that side to do that Made up policy's as usual We been to lots of pubs/bars And they been extremely welcoming so shame on the black swan pub Want learn some manners for someone that is a so called publican Discrimination against kids is not acceptable in this day and age Take good look in mirror for yourself You ignorant man you can't just rewrite the law

28/09/2024: Went to get take out on Saturday evening , it was extremely busy , I had to wait 45 mins, they were definitely under pressure. But very polite and apologetic. There were 4 staff and to be honest ,, it would not have had room for more staff , the food was good , and they served in turn ,and as quickly as possible . I would go back again.

02/10/2024: Good food and fast service. A small kitchen in a busy pub with basic bar food which is excellent. Beware:They don't take card payments Correction :Card payment now accepted

13/07/2024: Best burger we have had while in Ireland. This is not just minced beef on a baguette like we have seen elsewhere. It's hard to find from the street, as it is behind Willow's pub, which is grand in its own right. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!

24/12/2024: We had both dinner and lunch here during our December stay in the area. The food was very good both lunch and dinner, they have a good selection of wines. The portions are ample.

01/01/2025: The food is great but the delivery service is awful! I’ve given up on it and started collecting which isn’t sustainable so I’ll need to pick another pizza place unfortunately. Such a shame the delivery is letting them down so bad.

22/12/2024: Pizza like in Italy, my compliments!! The chips are also good but above all the garlic sauce made like home, you can feel the taste compared to many other places.

02/01/2025: Fab little authentic Italian off the beaten track. Super food at very reasonable prices. Italian radio playing in background adds to the experience.

21/12/2024: We used to love this place but unfortunately we had a quite unpleasant experience today. Two of us with baby(having a buggy)arrived around a quarter to 2. There were a few table available but they said they are all reserved and no one seems to leaving. We waited a bit because there is no other restaurant nearby. 2 mins later a table of 5 left and I checked they said again it is fully booked and we can take the outside table if I want. At the same time, two people went in after us without a reservation and got a table. They said it is because that table can’t fit in a buggy. Because it is late for lunch, we decided to eat outside and eat quick. It is pretty windy day we waited a bit for the menu and to speed up, I went in to order that we don’t need to stay outside with the baby too long but they said they will go out to take the order which I saw they were cleaning tables. When we waited outside, we saw a couple with a buggy left as well. I understand it can be a busy day and that is how you operate but there was zero effort to help us. You can just say there is no room for buggy instead of saying it is fully booked. The whole experience made me feel so unfair and unwelcoming.

26/01/2025: Every time we pop in the vibe is immaculate. Wine and cheese selection is top notch. We're always tested with new wines we'd never usually try and we always leave happy. Staff are very helpful also.

07/01/2025: Cool spot in a central location, it's a nice place to swing by when you want a light lunch - the toasties are great but the service is sometimes a bit lacking.
