27/03/2026: Tram Cafe in Clonmel St. is a hidden gem next to Iveagh Gardens. I really enjoy the coffee there as well as their selection of treats and cakes. They also offer light breakfast and lunch meals but the most impressive is their staff, everyone is really nice and friendly with professional attitude. Highly recommended.

30/11/2025: What a find!. Best test of a restaurant is to order vegetarian options,which I did. (Im a carnivore) They were beautifully prepared, full of flavour and very satisfying. Lovely wine list. Place was very busy but service was flawless. Enjoy

17/11/2025: We had planned this dinner for weeks and arrived dressed formally, hoping for a nice evening. One member of our group had more to drink than the rest, but the most dramatic moment from our side was him repeating a question during ordering. There were no raised voices, no comments directed at staff, and no disruption of any kind. It was simply a mildly tipsy lad trying to decide between mash or chips. Despite this, the staff seemed convinced we were about to stage a full-scale riot. Service became unusually tense very quickly, and the passive-aggressive highlight of the night was receiving a takeaway dessert box with an angry face drawn on it. Nothing says “fine dining” quite like a doodle that looks as though it was done by a bored child in a maths class. When we politely asked what the issue was, we received no explanation at all. We were given only vague references to “inappropriate behaviour,” although nobody seemed able to describe what that behaviour actually was. We left confused but ready to move on. I was not even going to leave a review. My friend had already shared his experience, and that was going to be the end of it. However, after reading the owner’s public response, which was full of sweeping accusations without specifics and included the particularly theatrical claim that our table “should have been asked to leave at the first instance of the behaviour,” I felt the need to clarify what actually happened. If that is truly what they believed, I genuinely wish they had said something at the time. We would have happily gone somewhere else and spared everyone whatever imaginary crisis they thought was unfolding. To clarify our experience: • No inappropriate comments were made. • No one spoke to staff disrespectfully. • No disturbance occurred at any point. • Staff raised absolutely no concern with us during the meal. • When we asked directly, no explanation was provided. • All accusations afterward were vague and unverifiable. If the restaurant genuinely believes something inappropriate occurred, they are welcome, at last, to specify exactly what it was. They did not do so on the night, and they have not done so since. The only inappropriate behaviour we witnessed came from the staff, not the guests. We will not be returning, and I sincerely hope the next group’s greatest offence is not asking the same question twice.

19/05/2026: I loved that they served Korean food as a special menu every Friday and Saturday! It totally made me feel like I was back in Korea. You can also sing karaoke, and the overall vibe and location were just perfect. I had such a wonderful time!

15/05/2026: Despite being very busy our server, Sam, was very attentive and perceptive. They really made the extra effort to ensure our time here was enjoyable. Due to the busy time, another server was also helping us, Rachel. She was very helpful whilst Sam was busy.

16/11/2025: Continues to disappoint with the worst flat white. Been a loyal and constant customer of this place for about a year. While the pastries are lovely, and the staff is friendly, the flat whites I’ve been getting here became just terrible and not up to any standard. Not worth paying 4EUR for a coffee with milk that I can make myself at home. Cant give no more than one star and will look for another place.

24/06/2026: I ordered food today (24/06/2026) for collection — Lamb Biryani at 17:45. I don’t think it was actually biryani; it seemed like something else. It had a very bad smell. I’m not sure whether the lamb was expired or if the rice was cooked using leftover oil from another curry dish. I have never, ever in my life tasted such bad food. I would tell my friends: if you don’t want to enjoy food in your life, then try this place — Classic Indian Restaurant in Sligo. I would even say, if you want to hate a particular food, try it from there. I forced myself to take just one bite, thinking maybe it only smelled bad. But as soon as I took the first bite, I started vomiting. Please try it once, and you’ll never want to eat that dish again in your life.

11/06/2026: I ordered through just eat and clearly got scammed by delivery guy I’ve been asked to pay extra 5€ cash so I paid 9.8€ total in delivery for a meal that’s 16€ (more than half price delivery to Strandhill), I called the restaurant and didn’t get any useful information of why that is

24/04/2026: Oh my god I don’t know where to start this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been in the atmosphere is so warm and cozy so well decorated the service is quick and the food might have changed my world I am definitely coming back again

20/04/2026: Saturday I had dinner with my friends and I am happy and satisfied with the service and food. They have gluten free pasta and pizza. Highly recommended!! ♥️ Definitely I will go back as gluten free restaurant is hard to find
