The best restaurants

09/01/2026: Been coming here for 8+ years and the food quality has gone downhill in a major way. The curries lack flavour and more importantly meat. The butter chicken came with 6 shrievelled chicken pieces and the peshwari naan isn’t filled with sugar anymore, a little is meagrely sprinkled on top. In particular, the korma resembled more of a vegetable soup as opposed to a mild nutty curry, very annoying. Cutting corners while simultaneously increasing prices by €3 per main menu item isn’t smart. Thoroughly disappointed will have to search elsewhere for an authentic Indian smh

22/04/2025: Been here a few times and had a different experience on every one. The last time was a Friday night as a couple, we probably had the last sitting but it was such a strange atmosphere. There was hardly anyone in the place and we felt a bit rushed out the door. It was eerily quiet and just plain awkward - not what you might expect of a bustling Friday night. Returned recently with kids and again, the place was practically empty and the vibe was just off. Really quiet, teenage waiter grunting at us, there was no ambience at all Even some cheesy Italian music in the background would have helped! I will say the food is good, pizzas are excellent, tiramisu excellent, but they need to rethink the garlic bread - what the hell?! Had a long wait for a bowl of plain pasta for the kids. Also, for the love of god please put chips on the menu for kids! No kids' menu, no option for even a smaller-sized pizza, so not sure how family-friendly it is.

31/12/2025: Got the shovelhead (swapped Salame for Italian sausage), the parma, the vegan garden with buffalo mozzarella, and the Salame. They were all amazing. Really really enjoyed, will definitely be ordering from here again :))

14/02/2026: Very bad experience. Over 35 minutes waiting on our food. When we got it, it was cold. Very bad attitude from the staff. Other people were waiting even longer than us.

28/10/2025: The Fujianese owner is kind. He makes great fried noodles with shrimp and beef, and drinks cola. If you're passing by, you can stop by.

07/02/2026: This is a terrible resturant! ! ! Here is why. I asked for a pizza and the chef said ok, but the chef asked me for tips. What ? The pizza came and it was €26 i think and the pizza was likely not cooked but it was so bad. It taste like a rock. The pizza taste like it had no flavor, and it was very bad, and 25% burned. This is terrible! One star is too much. I want to give it 0 stars ! They did this another time once !! Im never coming back here again, in my life, ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!

05/11/2025: Excellent place for a pint. Friendly, comfortable, atmospheric, clean and a lovely collection of local historical and cultural photos and artifacts.

18/10/2025: 12 of us went in on a Saturday evening and had a sing song. We were there maybe 3 hours and after taking our money, approx 700/800euros, and custom we were asked to keep the singing down as it was upsetting the locals in the bar......there were 3 of them. Would certainly not recommend this place with the way we were treated.

11/11/2025: Unbelievable food, the burgers were amazing and v creative. And a full feed on their own The loaded fries are also excellent but would feed 3 people in one portion Only negative is walked in to order and waited 45 mins for the food. Was orders coming in over phone, deliveroo etc and all prioritised ahead of walk ins (or that's what it felt like anyway!!) Worth it, just order in advance

20/11/2025: great supermarket and far more friendly than chain stores. more expensive than your usual shop but the quality is unmatched. a true clontarf gem

12/10/2025: Poor experience today. Bottle recycle ♻️ units full and could Not use them. One check out open and honestly the young lady didn’t want to be there and simply yawned all way through. Expect better form this shop

13/08/2025: The best toasted sandwich I ever had. Busy but very efficient system of ordering your food. Staff very helpful, waited to serve our tea until the toastie was ready.

26/07/2025: A great place for coffee and small bites like cookies, cakes and others. They also have brilliant ham and cheese toasties, which are not easily seen in the menu, but are delicious. There's plenty of outdoor sitting in the back, which is especially good when the weather is nice. The staff are fantastic, which is one of the most important aspects. They really go out of their way to make make things better, and that shows.

16/07/2025: Questionable to drink hot beverages out of old plastic cups. Hot chocolate way too sugary.

16/10/2025: Lovely course in a semi-wooded undulating landscape. We played 18 holes on a Groupon deal. The staff were welcoming and the members equally so. Afterwards we enjoyed a chicken curry in the clubhouse before heading home. It was a lovely day out.
