27/12/2025: Both my friend and I got spiked there a week ago, be careful with your drinks ladies

06/12/2025: The service today 06/12 was dreadful , the two bar staff on had zero observational skill or job coordination - they repeatedly messed up orders , wine was being served in half pint glasses and one person was left waiting over 20mins for a single pint because the bar man had literally forgotten he existed despite taking his order - for a city pub you would expect to have servers who are competent - the most frustrating thing is the fact it wasn’t even that busy and during the day …. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to return , many other pubs close by with great service , a duo of Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder would have worked better behind the bar today

12/01/2026: We called into Andy’s Gin Emporium in Monaghan for a quick pre-dinner drink — and within five minutes we were wishing we’d booked in for the evening . The place is stunning inside: gorgeous décor, brilliant artwork and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We were welcomed by Shannon, who couldn’t have been nicer. She knows her stuff and made us feel right at home . My Gordon’s gin and tonic was spot on — proper glass, loads of ice, lemon, and Schweppes tonic. Simple but perfect. Then Kevin, the owner, dropped over to say hello and that’s when the magic really kicked in. He took us through the unique range of award-winning gins they produce - And it doesn’t stop at gin — he also introduced us to their own fabulous whiskey liquor which added greatly to the experience. We had a great time and bought a fabulous gift pack on leaving —a bottle of their seasonal hubarb gin liquor and a bottle of their wild Berry Gin with matching inscribed glasses - whie we didn't dine the menu was extensive and the food looked superb. All in all Andys bar and Restaurant is full of charm, character and proper Irish hospitality — with a drinks and food offering to match - A brilliant stop, and one we’ll definitely be back to. 23/11/2025: Had burgers, deep fried Brie, chicken wings that tasted reheated for the 3rd time, brownie and Bailey’s cheesecake for Desert. The burgers had no veg, just bun and the burger, dry. Worst burgers we’ve eaten. Very underwhelming, in fact disappointing. In terms of the atmosphere, at first there was no music playing, you could hear everyone’s conversation and them eating their food. I asked the waitress for music and then apparently they turned it on but it was very quiet. So I asked the guy who looked like a manager if the music could be turned up louder on this side of the restaurant, he kinda responded in an annoyed tone and the waitress girl was scared to ask him again I told her I’ll ask him myself. Anyways, the food didn’t make up for it. Also the sauce on the brownie was cold, makes no sense. We didn’t get a menu for like 10-20 minutes. Won’t be back

14/12/2025: Lovely setting and great staff. Food was mediocre, fries way too greasy and the burger was cremated with an odd smoky flavour. Wings were amazing though.

06/12/2025: Place was crazy with people attending Christmas parties, but the lady wondered us was brilliant and made sure our experience was top notch. Food was very nice and would recommend

23/09/2025: Beautiful pieces, brilliant colors and shapes, and very nice people. Unfortunately, they're too big for our small suitcase! They ship worldwide!

04/09/2025: Best pottery in Ireland! We bought several pieces from here and they delivered to Canada. Great views of the ocean and countryside as well.

14/12/2025: We got a large order last night worth €120. The food was very nice. Even when part of a big order, everything was perfectly cooked and still hot when we got home after collecting it. The staff are always a pleasure to deal with and our orders are always ready when they say they will be.

04/11/2025: I recently got the downtown chipper to do food for a family part, they were a pleasure to deal with fantastic food and fantastic value

23/05/2025: Precooked reheated burgers, dry and chewy. Cheap chips, lots of them doesn't make up for the lack of quality. Worst food experience in Ennis ever.

19/09/2025: Chips were okay, warm but not the best, the chicken was horrible, and I genuinely cannot stress that enough it came cold sort of, and some of it was crispy but majority of the pieces were half soggy which is disgusting and I couldn’t eat it.

10/02/2026: I orderd a large pizza, it was good however they did not add the hot honey and when I ordered a litter of fanta I only got the 330 ml. I checked my order again to make sure I ordered it right (which i did). Other than that it was tasty.

16/12/2025: Normally the food is nice but today has just shocked me this is what I was given 2/4 slices of the pizza has no crusted. I rang to complain and was told Oo there new staff. just cause there’s new staff doesn’t mean that the food quality should be diminished and handing out pizzas in an unacceptable state definitely won’t be gone back. Would not recommend eating from this place!!

14/11/2025: Incredible food and genuinely great customer service. Honestly the best toasted BBQ pulled pork I’ve ever had, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
