29/09/2025: I was with a wheelchair user and an autistic man and it was the best I have been to my son is moving to the area so hope to go more often as not from the area.
17/08/2025: Lovely spot. Food delicious. We had cabbage and bacon and crumbed chicken with peppercorn sauce for lunch and sherry trifle and apple crumble for dessert. Staff lovely. A lot of couples and families came in and out. A really lovely spot with tasty, reasonably priced food.

18/12/2025: Have eaten breakfast here on a couple of occasions and it was mostly quite good, the last time however not so good. Nicely situated along the canal. When it comes to payment it is cash only which is quite inconvenient. Don’t get much chat from the staff but they seem like nice people.
12/11/2025: A lovely homey little spot in Ballyconnell town. Plenty of options for all dietary needs. It was like a blast from the past coming in here, but in the best way. It reminded me of childhood. Such a cosy little restaurant.

06/10/2025: We had a BBQ for our wedding day 2 at the Alley Garden in August and our 75 guests were delighted. Super friendly staff and lovely beer garden to enjoy some fresh air, great for live music too (we had some trad going on). Food was simple yet tasty and buffet style was efficient. We had brought in some of our wedding decoration and it made the place really cosy. Thanks Keith & team for the service!

05/11/2025: I went there last Sunday.
Everything would have been perfect, but the manager was really disappointing. He was very aggressive and spoke rudely. Honestly, he seemed to be 100% under the influence of alcohol. An older man, with completely inappropriate behavior for a public place.
30/10/2025: Well-kept place, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Guinness.
Highly recommended.

Service that makes you feel like you've entered the home of a good friend.
Loved that the menu was large font for easy reading. 🤓
If you don't know what to order just ask and she will help you. So great to see such passion for food.

22/02/2026: Food was nice but portions for takeaway are very small and quite high in price for the amount you get. Staff were also a little rude when we arrived to order takeaway, felt like they wanted us to go away cause the restaurant was busy, strange atmosphere.
31/01/2026: The hot and sour soup is way hotter than the 2 chillies symbols suggest, the mains don't include sides, the sauces were incredibly salty and the wine is very expensive. Not worth a visit.

26/01/2026: First time in here and I finished off the last week's working week with a well-deserved pint. Couldn’t have picked a better spot. Handy to get to, good buzz about the place, && the staff were sound as a bell. Guinness was creamy and well kept, exactly what you want on a Friday evening. I’ll definitely be back.

09/02/2026: Fantastic staff very helpful, great omelette for breakfast off the menu, hotel is being upgraded, rooms were spotless and the leisure centre has just been refurbished, good daily dinner options with a drink, just had a lovely 3 night break there, would definitely go back
04/01/2026: Went to the new play centre ripples and the kids had so much fun. It's a little on the small side but works well for what we used it for. Prices are what you would typically pay for a play centre. Staff were lovely and the place was very clean.

huge and the service simply fantastic. The host and waitress were amazing and contributed to a wonderful pub experience, the best in years for me.
If you are in Nenagh, I highly recommend stopping by for some food and/or a drink. Loved it.
05/12/2025: Tables where filthy and the place cold. Prices are also ridiculously expensive for basic fried pub food. Bartender came to our table, saw the dirt, grease and dried ketchup on our table, then walked away. We got up and left. What an overpriced dump!
