12/01/2025: We had a really really pleasant evening. The young ladies behind the bar were very good. Pleasant atmosphere lovely and clean will definitely be back. Although we didn't have food others around us did and it looked absolutely mouth watering.

16/11/2024: We frequently order from them. It's the best Indian food I've delivered to my door in 11 years of Ireland, and note that I lived in 2 cities and 3 small towns. I highly recommend it for a cosy night at home.

26/10/2024: Quería almorzar y llegué solo a la 1: 45 un sábado por la tarde. Como estaba solo, me redireccionaron a la zona de comida para llevar y me aconsejaron que podía sentarme en un taburete. Justo cuando estaba a punto de hacer mi pedido, el servidor me dijo que era solo para llevar. Por lo tanto caminé 3 metros para esperar una mesa. Otro servidor, posiblemente el gerente, me dijo que no había sitio, le pregunté si podía esperar y me invitó a esperar en mi auto por 15-20 minutos y me llamó. Aprecio que estaba ocupado en ese momento, pero no creo que así es como los clientes deben ser tratados. Incluso habría comprado un café si me invitaran a esperar en uno de los taburetes altos de "cliente para llevar".

20/10/2024: Lovely place for breakfast or a scone. A little expensive for what you get. Unfortunately a sign of the times. Not as busy as previous visits.

01/02/2025: lovely bar restaurant in kilrush Town prompt service lovely coffee and the nicest apple pie I've eaten in quite a while toilets spotlessly clean although the gents hand dryer badly needs replacing or painting very rusty

30/01/2025: Had not been here for several years.Hotel was not open to the public,and we were directed to the Restaurant just inside the grounds off the N7. We were early and lunch had just started,and it is self-service with a very helpful Chef.Good selection of food.Bar at end of food area,and a drink ordered is brought to your table.Frendly and helpful staff with some friendy banter. Our parking ticket was stamped for free to allow us go on our way. We enjoyed the experience.

09/01/2025: We have stopped here a couple of times on the way home from Dublin and had their carvery dinner, top class great choice, and really friendly service. When you are paying, if you have a parking ticket, they stamp it for you, and then you don't have to pay. Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏

04/02/2025: Had a lovely time at this place the other day and lovely coffee however the star of the show was our lovely barista, Kayleigh, who went above and beyond to make sure our experience there was the very best it could be. What a ray of sunshine!

01/02/2025: We read that this cafe was dog friendly - dissapointed that the blonde lady at counter (Marion) was very snappy and said the dog wasn’t allowed stay inside the door on a lead (despite being advertise as dog friendly). She was very rude and barked at customers serval items for no reason. It’s doesn’t cost much to have some basic manners. Disappointing as we were on a weekend Away in Dublin.

04/11/2024: AVOID IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO CELEBRATE WITH CAKE! We booked the Yellow Pepper to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. We are returning customers and have celebrated many family occasions here. When I asked the server for a knife to cut our cake I was told “No, the cake cannot be consumed on the premises.” When I went to pay the bill I asked the owner/manager why this was? She said, “what’s the point in me paying a chef if you’re having cake for dessert”. Some of our party did have dessert. She went on to say that no cake was allowed on the premises since 2018. I knew this to be untrue as we have had cake in recent years. I relayed this back to her which she dismissed immediately as untrue, I found the whole experience very rude and humiliating. I then had the embarrassing task of returning to the table and telling my guests that they couldn’t have any cake. I have no issue with a policy like this, I do however have issue with being treated with such disrespect. I feel the manner and tone in which I was spoken to unacceptable. We will not be returning. Please do yourself a favour and ask before booking if you can bring your cake to save yourself the embarrassment. We have had birthdays, communions, confirmations here but apparently graduation cakes are the exception. Very disappointing!

17/10/2024: Stopped here after O'Donnells was too packed for comfort and too crazy for a relaxing time. No expectations going in, left with fond memories. It was definitely a locals bar, and it was amazing. As an American in for the week, I was greeted with kindness hospitality and great conversation from folks who have probably been there hundreds of times. Very relaxed, If you are looking for a quintessential Irish pub with witty staff, real conversations, and leave your pretenses at the door, you are garunteed a great pint of Guiness and an even better experience.
