McGann's Pub
13/02/2025: Great little cozy Irish pub near the Cliffs. Food and service was excellent. Came in on a cold rainy day and the fireplace was warm and food was excellent. Best Irish pub we’ve been to.
26/01/2025: Thankfully our tour stopped here for lunch and I’m so glad it did because we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was wonderful and the food was some of the best we had while in Ireland. We each ordered different meals so we could sample a few things and it was all delicious (the beef stew, seafood chowder and mushroom Vol-au-Vent). We’d been eating most of our meals at our hotels, which while tasty, lacked the “homemade” and “traditional Irish” feeling, so this was a treat for us. I wish we’d been staying nearby because I’d have loved to hang out in the evenings when they had live music.
Huge shoutout to Bernard for being an absolute gem!

20/10/2024: We love Ballycotton and absolutely love it. Lots of changes happen each year. However, it's a diamond. The Bayview is literally hanging on the cliff & so important to support our hospitality industry. Local hotels are so important & Suzanne Front of House should be cloned,she's brilliant. Genuine welcome & engaging.
Evening dining was delicious.
Loses one star as the Irish breakfast was below par..
09/09/2024: Not suitable for a family with young kids.. we booked a family room and got a double room and the response at reception left alot to be desired.. oops and we might sort it tomoro.. avoid if bringing kids

19/12/2024: This place has just changed its name to A&T Luxflavor ..had breakfast here today .. Service was good. but the food was muck. Sausage bacon hash brown beans and mushroom .. toast and the worst cappuccino i have ever tasted .. The place was empty at lunchtime, and now i can see why...The cheap produce that was our breakfast could have been anything. .. It was totally tasteless.. including the crap coffee. We wont be returning
10/12/2024: A very nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, and the service is excellent. It’s a place you want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend!

I have being up vomiting and diarrhoea since eating a kebab from here the pain is unbearable i was fine before eating from here please stay away from them there absolute dirt bags!! I stayed away from here for 3 year over the way there food was and since they have new owners taught there food be different but it's only worse The sickness won't stop im going to end up in hospital over this i will be making a complaint about this restaurant and taking it further i have never being so sick in my life 🤢🤢

14/01/2025: A disappointing experience . I have already tried a poke bowl somewhere else and it was fantastic , unfortunately akaka poke is not the best place for it . The fish and food in general were tasteless , not much meat as well. the ready sauce from the bottle was bad didnt taste like a good quality . I regretted spending 16€, think its a ridiculous price for such a quality and also the quantity as the bowl was not even very full.didnt enjoy and will not be back 👎
31/12/2024: One of the worst pokes. The fact that simple cherry tomatoes cost three euros is unforgettable. The salmon was all sticky and with a personal unpleasant taste, not even too welcoming...to be totally revisited

31/12/2024: The food is pretty awful! The mushy peas are from a tin The battered fish was close to gone off and disgusting. The kids pizza again was terrible, the only decent food was the chips l!even the salad was warm and disgusting.THIS PLACE IS NOT A RESTUARANT AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED. You would be better off driving to nearby Hollywood, Blessington or ballymore if you want proper food cooked by professional chefs. TOO DARK AND FILTHY DIRTY TOO! THE WORST FOOD EVER! GOT BETTER FOOD FROM A SIDESTREET KITCHEN AT 5 AM IN BENIDORM.

26/01/2025: Usually fond of this restaurant. However I do not recommend the early bird menu. My entire family and I thought the various main dishes were bland and did not include the usual side dishes like chips/salad that you usually get with the takeaway version, which is actually cheaper. Had to pay extra for chips and the desserts were terrible. Recommend to stick to main menu. Also a waitress kept asking if we were finished while we were clearly still eating. Bad experience overall.
26/01/2025: If your going for a meal stay clear of early bird menu. I got chicken Oscar style and unfortunately it didn't taste as nice as when you get it from outback. Plus when ordering it as a take away meal chips and salad are included while for sit down you have to pay extra (10 euro for two small bowls of chips). Dessert was also not nice. Roulade had probably shop bought syrup squeezed on top (you knew it by the taste and colour) and it ruined the flavour.
Overall I would not recommend the early bird menu for a sit down

01/02/2025: Went in for a doner kebab meal with a chip and drink and I have to say the staff were super friendly, staff at till had great manners and was super helpful. food came quick! Will be back again!
21/01/2025: Place was clean and nice, served quickly and food was really nice. Maybe a little expensive for the size (€8.95 for doner in pitta) but it was worth it.
