The best restaurants

26/05/2026: I got pretty bad mold exposure here while staying on the top floor of Ballynona. We stayed two nights, and the first was great - but it rained the next day and the following morning I woke up to a fully clogged nose and an irritated throat. I thought it was just seasonal allergies until looking back I realized it was mold. My symptoms dampened the rest of my Ireland trip unfortunately. The house is quite dated but pleasant otherwise, and the host was kind, just a little too political upfront.

08/09/2026: Really lovely Costa Coffee. The coffee is always good, and it’s a nice, relaxed place to pop in for a coffee or a bite to eat. It’s convenient being close to home, so it’s become a handy local spot for breakfast or just a quick coffee. Always enjoy coming here! ☕️😊

14/09/2026: While I wasn't in the stadium itself I was in the parking lot watching 2026 cannonball charity race. Thanks guys and girls for that great experience...hopefully my stubborn little man has a better day next time.😂😅

05/08/2026: Bad service and dishonest..never recommend.. rang in shop person answer the phone. He asked you looking for collection or delivery and I said dine in. He asked how many people. I replied 3 people.I said I’ll be there in few minutes when I drove there it was about after 8 o’clock.and the restaurant was closed. That’s call stupidity how shameful and lair people you are.

26/08/2026: Had the tofu house special. Absolutely ridiculous nothing but soft tastless tofu... And the smallest amount of veg ever

26/09/2026: The food was authentic, similar to what you'd find on holiday! The service was very friendly.

21/09/2026: The food was good, but the way we were treated towards the end really ruined the experience!!! Staff came over four or five times “you finished?” asking if we were finished and trying to clear the table while we were still eating. At no point did anyone tell us there was a time limit. Then, they brought us the bill and said they needed the table for other customers. After we paid, a member of staff came over and told us we needed to finish up because we had been there for more than 1 hour and 45 minutes. This was literally the first time we had heard anything about a time limit in my whole life!!!!!!! I completely understand that restaurants get busy and need to turn tables. If we’dbeen told when we arrived that we had the table for 1h45, that would have been absolutely fine. But you can’t expect customers to follow a time limit they’ve never been told about. When I pointed this out, I was told, “I don’t need to tell you. When you come into town, this is normal.” I mean ???? What? That response was honestly what bothered me the most….! I’ve eaten at plenty of restaurants in Dublin and I’ve never assumed there was an unspoken 1h45 rule. If you have a time limit, just tell your customers when they sit down!!!! We would have happily respected it!!!!!! Instead, we were repeatedly rushed and then made to feel like we’d done something wrong for breaking a rule we didn’t even know existed. Really disappointing way to end what had otherwise been a nice meal.

30/05/2026: Ordered a warm duck salad. I received a small plate full of leave and two tiny mouthfuls of shredded duck. Paid 18 euro. Won’t be back

10/05/2026: Fantastic meal with the family for my nieces communion. Food was delicious, service exemplary and location superb. Well done 'The Landmark Hotel'

29/05/2026: I know it's a takeaway place but you should try sitting inside. Incredible service and probably the best Chinese I've had. Definitely recommend.

17/08/2026: Consistenly good. Spacious with plenty of different types of seating. Top service. Chilled background music at just the right volume. The egg mayo sandwich has regrettably disappeared from the menu 😕
