29/10/2024: Loved this place so much I will be going back as soon as I get a few days off. The oysters from Sherkin were honestly the best I’ve had ever. I was staying in the hotel attached to the restaurant and the breakfast room is actually probably the nicest place I’ve been in. Staff so friendly and just overall brilliant place. Can’t wait to go back.

15/02/2025: I did like the experience, the food looks nice. We were enjoying the food when we were eating and but when I tasted the smoky pork ribs, I realize that was so smelly, like something roten, I taste a few times just for make sure and defenitly the flavor and the smell wasn't correct, I wanted to say some but the person who was with me said no. I liked everything else but not that at the end because ruin my taste, we orderd some garlic fries too and we never got it. I think this place is good just to try ones after that and it's a bit hard to say that we gonna come back.

07/02/2025: I visited Pitt Bros BBQ with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The atmosphere was nice, the music was good, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The service was definitely a highlight, which I truly appreciate in a restaurant. However, the food did not meet my expectations. I made it very clear that I don’t like fatty meats, so I asked the staff for a recommendation to avoid that. I followed their suggestion and ordered the Smoked Angus Beef Rib, but unfortunately, the meat still had a lot of fat and was completely bland, making it inedible for me. For my side, I ordered the Mac & Cheese with Bacon Jam, but it was extremely greasy and lacked the creamy texture it should have. In the end, I only ate the chips. A staff member noticed my dissatisfaction and spoke with the manager, who kindly offered a discount or a different dish. However, after such a bad experience, I had already lost my appetite. To make matters worse, it was my birthday, which made the whole situation even more frustrating. Despite the great service, the food just didn’t work for me. Maybe it was just an off day in the kitchen, but based on my experience, I don’t think I would return.

20/12/2024: The worst burger and chips I have ever got in my life. Even my 2 year old wouldn't even eat the chips. Such a horrible horrible take away.

01/12/2024: Visited for the first time yesterday. Very reasonable prices, very tasty food and good variety on the menu which as a vegetarian is always good to see. Very child friendly - really appreciated the markers and paper given to my toddler - she had a ball. Hope to return soon.

20/12/2024: Decent pub with nice pints but, and I'm aware this is a bold claim because there are a lot of contenders, it's hands down the dirtiest pub in Dublin city centre. Black mould on the windows, revolting toilets, and just lots of flith on almost every surface. Definitely could be a much better pub with a clean.

18/12/2024: Possibly the best pub in Dublin. This is a pub that retains its old school original charm, comfortable without unnecessary design features, Incredible service, great pints. I've never had a bad night here.

13/01/2025: Low class shabby establishment Sat for an hour waiting for my drinks, called the waiter over two times but never bothered to return, upon getting up and going to the kitchen as I was feeling dizzy with no water, the very rude young waiter wearing a full on jacket in the very filthy kitchen had the nerve to say no entering the kitchen. Asked why I wasn't being served my water they said sorry the bottled water is finished, they didn't even have the respect to tell me so I could find a drink elsewhere while I was having a meal at their establishment. Genuinely terrible place, no hygiene standards and only takes cash.

17/01/2025: Attended after a recent event which was held elsewhere. We only availed of the room hire and bar facilities as we brought our own food. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Only disadvantage was that the room had lots of nooks and crannies so group was a bit scattered here and there.

11/01/2025: This was probably the worst food I’ve ever had. Food was microwaved, swimming in oil, and actually smelled awful. It was also extremely expensive. Not even the pint was drinkable. A day later and we still can’t stop thinking about how awful it was, nauseous just thinking about it. Service bad as well.

03/09/2024: Old school bar with great drinks, service, pool, and darts. Best breakfast in town. The chicken schnitzel burger is really beautiful. Very dog friendly.

24/12/2024: The Massaman curry was very good and I did expect that considering the chef was from Malaysia. Other items are good as well and the seafood seemed fresh. One thing I did not like is the serving bowls, it is quite hard to eat from it. Hope they can change it to something tried and tested. Overall would recommend for east Asian food in the black market.

08/12/2024: Black market in itself is a nice place, today I had dip, it was only ok definitely not the best curry in town as it's called. The beef was very chewy. I asked for it extra spicy no spice to it at all after being asked by the server am I sure I wanted it spicy. I would go back to try something else and maybe my mind might change but for now I would only rate it 3 stars in my opinion.
