29/07/2026: Fabulous "real" Irish pub. Great service in lovely surroundings. The drinks are excellent and served with care and pride. This pub is not to be missed. Live music some nights as well.

30/06/2026: A lovely atmosphere of a real traditional family run Irish Pub. Conversation and banter, always, music and song when it happens and supported by excellent refreshments.

25/08/2026: We walked out after observation of the lack of cleanliness. If they don’t take pride in their establishment it doesn’t bode well for the food in my humble opinion.

04/09/2026: I had such a lovely experience at Stew Store in Marina Market. I ordered the butter chicken tacos and also got a portion of their fries separately, and both were really good. What made the experience even better was the lady serving me I believe she may be the owner. She was so sweet, kind and genuinely helpful. I was a bit confused between the bhuna chicken, Madras and butter chicken, so she actually gave me some butter chicken to taste before I ordered so I could decide. I thought that was such a thoughtful gesture and something you don't see everywhere. I also asked if she could put the Spice Box seasoning on the regular fries, and she was happy to do that for me. While I was eating, she even came over to ask if everything was good. That level of personal attention and care really stood out. I've actually visited her at the Douglas location as well, and she's always been just as kind and welcoming there. Another thing I really appreciate about Stew Store is the portion sizes and value for money. Compared with the other Indian food joint in Marina Market, I personally find Stew Store gives much better portions for what you pay, and the food feels much better value overall. The fact that they are also willing to let you taste something before deciding what to order is a brilliant touch. It shows that they genuinely want you to enjoy what you choose rather than just making a sale. Great food, generous portions, reasonable prices and exceptional customer service. Stew Store is definitely my go-to for Indian food at Marina Market. Highly recommend! ❤️

03/08/2026: Delicious sandwich… soup watery a little disappointing. Staff wonderful but under huge pressure. Behind the counter a little messy … tea towel behind counter hanging off the oven looks clean but discoloured. Could do with more staff. V noisy & music loud!

28/07/2026: I'd definitely recommend this fabulous hidden gem of a cafe in Douglas Court. The food is just so fresh and real and I always feel energised after eating here. I love their protein balls, scones on occasion, lunch options such as various chicken sourdough sandwiches and halloumi flatbeeads which are served on their own or with a soup or salad option. Their new coffee is fab too. So whether you are catching up with a friend, want the watch the world go by or are taking a break from.your busy day, definitely pop in. 03/09/2026: Me and my girlfriend went for lunch, was my first time back since it reopened, she got a chicken panini, I got a toastie with bacon, cheese and chicken, chicken was very dry, my girlfriend only ate about a few bites of her panini

28/09/2026: Nice bar with good music. The concert area was nice. The sound was good. Good collection of beers. Downstairs is a nice place to watch matches and they have events happening always with music and new beers. Would recommend. Will definitely go for future concerts.

09/08/2026: Normally love this pub but tonight so disappointing one bar staff very rude an in competent finished serving at twelve clock said she had been dere since four an had no dinner as if dat was customers fault no manners at all very difficult to get a drink all nite how ever great music an atmosphere no wonder buisnesses are going under in Ireland would not happen in Joe Kelly's time how ever all not lost got two night caps in an tain no problem

01/06/2026: Great bar. Early morning, evening or night time Joe's is always hopping. Old man himself no longer working but the son is doing a great job in running the place.

21/07/2026: Update 1st December 2024 Thankfully they have improved their ordering method and if you would like you can order at the till to avoid their scan and order method. Unfortunately I was disappointed with my order today. I ordered a spicy rice bowl with two chicken thighs and I was served spicy rice bowl with a flavourless chicken breast. At very first day (somewhere in July) their food was nice, but later we felt that they are not as ,good as it was. Their online ordering system is a hassle. Nandos free WiFi is very slow and it takes more than 20mins to place an order or impossible to place an order via their online system. We get to starve before we get our food everytime we visit there. So, we try to avoid this place now.

11/07/2026: Ive been to Nandos a few times now and I usually have good experience with the staff. There is a lady with black hair and glasses and she comes off as rude to the staff. There is another man Noham I think, I only got a glimpse of his name tag and he is passive aggressive. I hope they can fix this as Nandos is a lovely place.

11/08/2026: Got here at 10:20. Door was locked. Two employees were still in the store with the lights on but chose to ignore me. Waited till 10:30 and nothing. Ridiculous and disrespectful.

08/07/2026: Lovely tasty pizza full of flavors the 40 euro deal of 2 pizzas 2 drinks and 2 deserts for 40 euro is brilliant value for the quality of the ingredients would recommend them over any pizza place I know
