02/02/2025: Had a wonderful lazy Sunday family lunch today, two small intimate dining room, maybe a little to small for the amount of tables in the front roon, ( pushed up against a fireplace which had a fairly decent gust of wind coming through it ) but it is winter I suppose. The room still had a authentic feel to it, The single member of waiting staff was just perfect, she managed the room perfectly and was extremely cordial. The food was outstanding tge ODEN was seasoned perfectly, tge BENTO BOX both seafood and sushi were much loved and the EBI TEMPURA was deliciously crunchy. Extensive drinks list will cater for all tastes. The standout for me was the Sashimi platter, generously portioned pieces of deliciously fresh fish.. With a proliferation of Japanese restaurants in Dublin now, this one stands out.

06/12/2024: Went there for Liverpool Man City. It's a Liverpool supporters bar so we thought it might be fun. Took ages to get a drink at the bar and the food we ordered an hour before the game arrived half an hour into the game. But I don't blame the staff. There was only two people serving, one for each bar, and no floor staff to take orders or bring the food out. Looking at other comments, the terrible service isn't an isolated issue, so this is on the Management. Hire some extra staff!! It's so unfair on your customers and especially your own employees to have them completely overwhelmed constantly. Won't be heading back there anytime soon

27/12/2024: Kicked a family member out of their pub because they were having a health issue (galbladder) and staying in their bathroom stall while it occured rather than draw attention on the pub floor and be embarassed. This was explained to them but they recieved complaints one of the stalls were in use "too long". I can understand kicking someone out because they are too drunk or rowdy, but somebody having a health crisis should not be treated that way and embarrassingly asked to leave.

05/09/2024: Hard to say. Marked as temporary closed in Maps. Went to check for any notice about it reopening and there was nothing. Looks pretty shut up. If they've shut down for a holiday without leaving any indication then it's on them really. There's a very faded notice in the window with opening times - picture included for what it's worth.

22/12/2024: I ordered food for delivery at 6.30. It was suppose to be delivered at 7.45. Didn't arrive until 8.20. I had work at 8.30. Thanks for letting me go to work hungry. I won't be ordering from here again. Disgrace

01/02/2025: Food had been sitting for some time then put in a blast oven to reheat. Rubber eggs, snappable bacon and black pudding like ice hockey pucks. Eat at your peril! Recommendations - walking straight past!

21/02/2025: I spent the weekend with my partner, the treatment by the employees leaves a lot to be desired, they don't do anything to understand you, if you don't speak their language very well when you ask them to please repeat what they have told you, they make a bad face at you. The last straw came when three days after the trip my partner opened the bank account and found himself without money. The hotel took all the money from the bank account without any explanation and without receiving any news from them. Note that we left the room in good condition without leaving any damage. AMPLE INFORMATION: The hotel people have taken money from me again, today they have taken money from me again, charging I don't know what, I have no choice but to REPORT you.

20/02/2025: Price-performance doesn't fit here at all. The lobby and restaurant are rather modern, but from the elevator it feels old and worn. The rooms don't heat, you just freeze. The windows aren't tight. The bathroom is getting old and rather very simple. The cleanliness was very good. There is no air conditioning and no refrigerator. The wardrobe is cramped because the ironing board and iron are also hanging there. The breakfast is sparse and the quality is in the lower third. The orange juice is none. I always rate fairly, but for the price I am more than disappointed. There is also no bottle of water in the room. I wouldn't book the hotel again.

08/02/2025: If I could give 0 stars I would … We ordered the hot pot for two, the food was frozen and processed we waited for it to cook and was pretty much inedible honestly very disappointed, we barely ate anything as even the sauces were terrible one was completely bland with no flavour and the other was incredibly spicy and oily. There was a tv beside our table that didn’t look like it had been cleaned in 50 years as well as the lamp shades above our table, where the dust was falling into our hot pot. Even in the end they didn’t want to give us a discount until they finally had to call their boss who then offered us a discount for the meal. Avoid.

02/02/2025: I heard from a reliable source that after an evening of heavy pinteliers, you can come in here at 2 a.m. for something that is rare in Dublin: a good meal for a normal price. It is also explicitly stated that no 12.5 sewing tax is charged for large groups, a plus. "The food was good, the rice was sticky, just a shame about the plastic plates." The owner also had a good haircut.
