22/12/2024: Very convivial happy plac3, Polite helpful staff particularly for people of limited mobility.Food,healthy,well cooked and served with a smile. Definitely a place for a good healthy meal and a refreshing experience.

11/02/2025: We had a wonderful evening at Harry's from start to finish! We were warmly welcomed, coats taken and given plenty of time to look at the menu. The specials were explained very clearly. The menu is varied and it's apparent that the produce is of a very high quality. The focaccia bread was particularly good in the dipping oil/ vinegar and the recommended wine pairing was excellent! The glass of red with the cheeseboard was also really good! The dinner in its entirety was delicious! The service was first class, the ambience buzzy and overall, we had a truly memorable, fun night. Already looking forward to the next visit and so delighted that Harry's is local!

Owners Grace and Andrew offer a local , intimate yet exciting menu and sophisticated wine list ; fabulous options by bottle or by the glass . Small groups or large .. Highly recommend

22/01/2025: We had stopped in after shopping, we were very hungry and I ordered a burger as it was the most vegan free option I could find, the waitress suggested that she could tell the chef to make my burger lactose and vegan friendly, the service was great in that aspect although the food itself wasn't great. Good atmosphere in the restaurant although the food is severely overpriced for what came out on the plate, we had one course and water each and it still managed to cost over €20 per person.

07/11/2024: First time here. Coffee was good. As with all Costa coffees, the large is ginormous. That amount of caffeine would leave me with palpitations for the rest of the day. They apparently always offer medium or large, but the small is always more than enough for me! Now the food. I only had a sandwich. Not cheap but generally prices have gone up everywhere. Really did not like the cheddar and slow roasted tomato toastie. I had a pizza taste in my mouth for quite a while. Not worth it when you consider how much it cost and for what you got. Next time there I'll avoid and try something else!

29/01/2025: I had an awful urge to have a spice bag as a treat once a week, but my local Chinese Takeawy only takes cash, and I had none only my card. Hungry and cold, I went into the Macaris Take Away next door. Disappointed not to be having a spice bag, I walked into Macaris only to be hit with the most amazing aroma, and in a millisecond, my craving for a spice bag vanished. The menu was mouthwatering, and my dilemma began what to order. However, I was only I the door and asked for my order in my panic. I said one fresh cod and 3 chips. Done order put it, but my mind was racing, asking me questions like you fool, what about smoked cod, batterburger, or even chicken? I was distracted by the good banter with customers and staff. Everyone was in top form. My order was ready. Do you want chips separate or all together? I was asked, but of course, altogether. Salt and vinegar, I was asked again, as much as you wan, I said. The bag of food was handed to me like I was receiving the World Cup. I live locally, but my drive home seemed endless as my anticipation was getting out of control. I rang home to have plates warmed and bread buttered for the most glorious of sandwiches a chip butty;. I was received by my wife, son, and yes, our dog, a hero. We ate our food in complete silence while watching Deadpool and Wolverine. Thank you, Macaris. we had a wonderful evening eating simple food cooked to perfection and all because I did not have cash. How fortuitous was that?

21/01/2025: The staff are very friendly, the prices are very very reasonable and I had one of the best Pizzas I have eaten in a long long time. Highly recommend. They have an extensive menu so no matter what you are in the mood for, they have something you'll be interested in. Including vegetarian options!

16/01/2025: We always have to stop by at the Bar at The Shelbourne on every visit to Dublin without fail. We love to sit at the bar and enjoy their superb Guinness. This time we ate and the food was lovely! Lovely location, lovely atmosphere and reasonably priced for a 'posh hotel'!

Esta vez comimos y la comida era preciosa! Preciosa ubicación, ambiente encantador y a un precio razonable para un 'hotel de lujo'!

20/10/2024: Thought I'd give this place a try a few days ago, must say I'm not overly impressed. Coffee tasted cheap and lady who served me wasn't the friendliest. I'll stick with my local Badger and Dodo in South mall, better coffee and staff

10/09/2024: Great coffee, great place - but the newly hired young woman is beyond rude. Came here 2-3 times, no hello, seems annoyed at customers for no reason, zero politeness. Obviously unhappy being here - making it a very bad experience for customers.

10/12/2024: This is the best Thai takeaway in Ireland. No shit. Consistent and fresh ingredients. The tofu is chunky and has great texture. Their curries are the best! We especially love Chu Chee, so spicy, light & fresh. They have great opening hours too, which they adhere to.

13/02/2025: Great little cozy Irish pub near the Cliffs. Food and service was excellent. Came in on a cold rainy day and the fireplace was warm and food was excellent. Best Irish pub we’ve been to.

26/01/2025: Thankfully our tour stopped here for lunch and I’m so glad it did because we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was wonderful and the food was some of the best we had while in Ireland. We each ordered different meals so we could sample a few things and it was all delicious (the beef stew, seafood chowder and mushroom Vol-au-Vent). We’d been eating most of our meals at our hotels, which while tasty, lacked the “homemade” and “traditional Irish” feeling, so this was a treat for us. I wish we’d been staying nearby because I’d have loved to hang out in the evenings when they had live music. Huge shoutout to Bernard for being an absolute gem!
