The best restaurants

14/03/2026: This place was recommended to us by a local shop owner and I am so glad it was! My husband and I were needing a break from fish and chips and Guinness, so pizza and wine were on the mind! The garlic bread with mozzarella was fantastic and our pizza had amazing flavor. The service was impeccable and quick. We even considered coming back again for our second night in town. I don’t normally write reviews, but we were so thrilled with our visit here we felt it warranted one!

30/10/2025: Yet again a really lovely family pizza night at the Blue Zone. Beautiful atmosphere and the rain lashing outside. Food was awesome, staff busy but not too busy to be welcoming and friendly. Thanks so much.

09/12/2025: Wonderful! My phone battery was dead and they helped me, they saved me actually, because it's difficult for a Brazilian without a cell phone here at the beginning. Thank you so much. The chicken and cheese sandwich was delicious ❤️

Their espresso-based drinks—especially flat whites and cappuccinos—are smooth, rich, and well-balanced, often matching or surpassing what you’d get from smaller independents. The hot chocolate and seasonal drinks (like the winter spiced latte) are a treat, especially on chilly Irish days.

29/10/2025: I was very sad to see this pub go. Probably my favourite in Cork. Really wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. I hope the owners are able to open a new premises elsewhere in the near future!

17/02/2026: I recently dined in Classic India Restaurant, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Butter chicken was perfectly creamy, the garlic naan was so fresh and soft. Its definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended

20/09/2025: Food was very expensive and really bad. My spinach roll was 7.50 and It was so tough I couldn't cut it apart with a knife and fork. Edit: just ate a chia blueberry scone and it was really bad lmao

27/10/2025: The place is cozy and the attention is good. The Snbazuru Yakisoba was grate, the Original Tonkotsu Ramen was just fine. There is a lot of options in the menu, in general at a higher place that in the lunch menu. In general a good place to go.

22/03/2026: I’ve been a regular customer of the place and I wa surprised to see the behaviour of the staff. I was denied service and 20.10 while the closing time was 20.30. I requested just a dessert take away which was right in front of me. But the lady said we are closed (in a rude way) while we still had 20 mins left. I can’t believe one of the best dessert places would turn this bitter all of a sudden.

25/11/2025: We have been getting coffee here atleast 6 days per week , love the coffee its a shame about the rudeness of the owners. The lady in particular. Yesterday my partner brought me a coffee as he always does and i took a few sips out of it and thought it tasted funny. I then realised it had oat milk in it and it wasnt my order. My partner went back in and said we got the wrong coffee can you make another latte there please. The owner replied with ' you mean you took the wrong coffee , he said no i asked the girl if this was mine and she said yes. So he walked back out saying she wants us to pay for the coffee again . So we drove off. I will never be back there again . I always did think they were rude but that took the piss. How miserable would you have to be.

09/02/2026: Disrespectful to the customer. During the meal, the manager started vacuuming the room for 25 minutes. The portions were small, but the food was quite good. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. It was expensive. We paid almost 50 euros for a meal like that for two people.

07/10/2025: Sorry but sandwiches are not worth the price. Crazy money to be paying over €10 for a sandwich to go and is a reflection of Dublin and wrip off prices. I must be honest and say that the sandwiches are only ok. Very good flat white I will say and staff are very sound but price for a sandwich is crazy!

11/08/2025: Nice pub and food but the owner seems like the most bitter man. If you don’t like serving customers don’t own a bar. After an afternoon of good food and a really nice server, boyfriend and I got up to pay and had the owner roll his eyes in our face when we asked to split the bill. No chat out of him just pure annoyance. Would be rating it lower if not for the kind bartender woman who was serving us before this. Fine establishment as long as you avoid the owner.
