24/01/2025: Nice little homely pub with a good band playing and service was very good .

19/02/2025: I went in and I was immediately greeted by the beautiful waitress who also made my hot chocolate. She had such a bright smile and was so kind to me. The hot chocolate was lovely and they didn’t mind me studying there for 2 hours. The new owner is super friendly and makes the best sandwiches. The music is delightfulllll… good prices 🥹 I would visit here again 100%. I felt so welcome

22/01/2025: Recently changed from a mini shop with a cafe in it to a full on café Super friendly staff, even talking to bobby the Greek owner/chef about the café and food Big tasty portions at very reasonable prices that take time to come out so cooked fresh The only issue is parking of lack of Definitely worth calling in as there are plenty of options for all times of the day There's even a mini coffee bar area so I'd say coffee will be nice Highly recommend

17/01/2025: I have ordered from Wingman several times and loved their vegan burger. Unfortunately ordered tonight and took one bite before putting it down. Didn’t taste like beyond meat; very dry. Different buns, no flavour and chips tasted reheated.

16/01/2025: We come to the Stables every time we stay in Kenmare. The staff are always welcoming and extremely kind and accommodating. The service is always on point. The menu changes regularly and they have daily specials and soup of the day etc. The food has always been exquisite. They are very kind with dietary requests and small changes to dishes (removing mussels from a dish for me). The atmosphere is a great mix of fine dining and smart casual. Try the chocolate fondant and go to bed happy. We love this place. Definitely check it out.

16/01/2025: I would give one million stars as a rating if I could! This place is unreal! Everything from the menu to the food to the service to the staff is impeccable. Have you ever wanted to cry because the food is THAT good?! No? Then go to the Stables for culinary delights! Tears of happiness are cried each time we go, the calibre of the food and service are exceptional. You won’t be disappointed, go, go, go, book a table now!

25/10/2024: Bit greedy with their prices. Got a few breakfast items, €7. I should have gone to one of the restaurants in midleton paid a bit more for a full breakfast including coffee

10/01/2025: Ordered a Parma ham pizza. Got a pizza with thin cut rashers on it, disgusting. Picked off the rashers and ate the pizza.

18/01/2025: First time visiting this quirky little restaurant and to be honest I expected better things. Considering it’s a pizzeria the very least we would have expected was homemade dough, not bought in pizza bases! They were fine and tasted ok but I can’t help but feel disappointed! €19.90 for a medium pizza (with a bought base) is too pricey in my opinion. The staff however were very friendly and welcoming, quirky decor and original layout throughout. It’s a proper little gem and could be wonderful if they worked on the pizza.

14/12/2024: Such a cute spot for a lunch, and it’s byob! Amazing sourdough pizza and super great, friendly service. Lovely gardens and cozy greenhouse area to sit in.

24/12/2024: got charged 50 euro for 4 shots.. seems a bit outrageous for a very boring nightclub. Staff will their hardest to rip you off even though they make no extra money for it. This place ruins night life for athlone and I hope they can improve in any possible being the only nightclub.

27/11/2024: I was on a trip to Longford, Ireland with my girlfriend and the Market Bar holds a very special spot for me in my life. We stopped in to possibly grab a drink, but the bar area was full. So we popped around to the restaurant side and I asked the woman bartender/server if we could sit and order two drinks. She obliged, but I felt like she was annoyed by my questioning... When we sat down, we decided that we wanted to get chips as well. The other woman server gave us some cutlery and also seemed like she had a long day and was annoyed overall by our presence. There was another patron sitting near us and she checked on him multiple times, with no attempt to even acknowledge us. She even came to take one of our stools at our table with no regard for us. The service that was provided was very cold throughout... though the chips and Guinness were delicious. It was a shame that we were made to feel like a nuisance. There was a gentleman that brought our food out, and he was much more warm and inviting, he even smiled at us. (Please note: I have travelled to Longford and Ireland as a whole many times before and I am well aware of how table service works in Ireland and how it may differ from the US. This experience was out of the norm, I am sure. I just hope that you realize that a smile goes along way.)

18/02/2025: Came here for Valentine’s Day. Food was sososoososososo good oh my days. My burger was so juicy so good. My girlfriends chicken was also Quite good. Our starters were mozzarella sticks and ciabatta garlic bread. Sosososoosos good. AND REFILLABLE DRINKS ??? Prices are kinda crazy but we got a Valentine’s Day deal so worth it 😎

19/02/2025: I was in relish Southgate yesterday. Food was amazing but the staff were so friendly and helpful and attentive, in particular Emma and Myra. Will be returning.

15/01/2025: Go to Jimmy's on regular basis, very convenient to drive through. coffee is the best I've had along with the range of treats and other foods they serve. All the family enjoy going to Jimmys. Staff are always spritly and greet with a smile. Service Is excellent

29/10/2024: Great idea & always a queue but the coffee needs work. It was more watery milk with a dash of coffee than a cup of coffee!
