30/01/2025: One of my favourite brunch places in Dublin. The food never misses, I always get the golden waffle and it’s the perfect thing when you’re craving a sweet treat for your breakfast. The staff are always lovely and the outside terrace seating is my favourite. It has the cutest cat photos. Love this place

28/11/2024: Amazing seasonal coffee, perfection between sweetness/flavour/spice. Very friendly, unique and warm barista. Made me comeback for another coffee to go just to see a smile :)

10/12/2024: A drive thru coffee bus. I was on foot on a rainy day. They called me in and it was so cosy inside. Tiny though. Their coffee is good. 2 girls working there, very welcoming. A++

01/02/2025: Good food and friendly service, one callout however is the lower level dining area seems adjacent to kitchen which was venting into the dining area, coats etc now need a wash to remove the grease smell

19/01/2025: Can't say enough good things about Nico's. First time there last night and both Holly and Mick made us feel like we were regulars popping in for our weekly visit 😅 the food was sensational - we had the chicken liver paté and the gubbeen cheese parcels to start then for mains we had the pan fried hake and the pork medallions (photos explain what I can not - incredible dishes with perfectly complimented flavours). Then there was the apple crumble dessert which we we thought we were too full to eat - that got polished off within a minute or two. Highly recommend Nico's to anyone in the area, you won't be disappointed!

26/01/2025: If I could have given this no stars I would. This was one the worst dining experiences for me and my family. We waited over 20 minutes to order, 50 minutes for our starters and 1&1/2hours for our main course. That wasn't the worst part as the Prawns in my dish were sour, the sauce was awful and there were unrecognisable pieces of mush in the dish! It was inedible!. When I alerted the waitress, there was no apology or offer another meal - she just walked away. It certainly felt like this was on purpose as we had complained about how long the food was taking. I recognise that it was busy but several tables who arrived after us, had orders taken, served food and left before we received our dinners. Having worked in restaurants myself, i am well aware of how difficult a busy Saturday night can be but there was no excuse for the awful food and horrible service - especially given the high prices! As locals, we have eaten here several times but I can safely say we will never go again! It was disgraceful! I have never left a review online before but I felt I had to this time!

26/01/2025: Disappointed to say the least, booked in advance for 5 people, turned up on time, and waited 10 minutes for seating in a restaurant that was "less busy than usual." Not a biggie, but then it went downhill. Other tables had orders taken until we had to ask for someone to attend to ours. The slide was on. All 5 orders were written down, and then we were hit with an unusual request. "The kitchen is very busy, and can we leave all starters & mains to the table at the same time, or you'll be about 20 minutes waiting for the mains," to which we agreed. Not a problem for our schedule until mains & 3 starters arrived with the 2 late starters, no pun intended, arriving some 5 mins later. Obviously, we'd all tucked into our mains, so things got a little confusing to the palate. What wasn't confusing was that 2 of the mains were clearly not hot enough on arrival. Lesson learned, and highly unlikely to be back anytime soon, if ever. A sad end to a once healthy relationship 😢 and still no sign of that side order of chips 😞. Also, bring a good warm jacket with you to wear indoors, not joking 🥶

05/01/2025: I got a vegan pizza there, it was very nice. The main downside was that they couldn't cook chips in something other than meat fat and that there was no vegan garlic dip, still I appreciated that they make pizzas with vegan cheese that taste good 😊 decent price too at €16 for a large pizza.

25/11/2024: We went in this evening to the guys in Eskimo & they are just fabulous. The service is brilliant, so kind and friendly. We got our food and it was so nice. It’s definitely the best food in town. It is so fresh & really tasty. We go in here all the time but I had to leave a review this time because it’s always so good. Love this place.

02/12/2024: One of the best places... I been trying a lot of Mexican restaurants in Dublin... I think that this is one of the best.. pork tacos are amazing and it's a plus that they even make the tortillas 😊

28/09/2024: Rude bouncers, myself and a friend were refused entrance only wanting to see a local performance for no reason, if this is how the bouncers operate it reflects on the business and is completely uncalled for I would have much preferred being given a reason for the rejection but we were just flat out refused entry
