The best restaurants

27/04/2026: The food was amazing! I've never had such a good Margherita in my life (complements to the chef - Ali and Anna). The experience, which by itself was amazing, became even more meaningful to me after the amazing service of Damiano and Eabha working that day. Thank you all verh much❤️

27/04/2026: Went with my niece for a bite. I’m still in shock over the thawed out frozen chicken salad that they charged me 18.75 for. It was APALLING. Limp dry lettuce. 2 pieces of anchovies. Absolutely gross. And the tiniest smidgeon of Caesar dressing, a tablespoon, in a small little cup thing. Honestly. It was so bad. I’d object to paying 10 euro. The staff in there were doing their best but this pathetic salad and a small Marguerita pizza for 17 euro were sitting in the counter for 8 minutes, we timed it. So I went and collected them and served myself. 2 staff covering the whole restaurant is shocking. They have no chance. I had been in the Hudson 2 weeks previous and it was excellent. Service, value. Everything. So there’s no excuse. Shame on Milano for serving up that muck to me. The calamari was good. But that’s the only positive here. And the 2 waiters serving were friendly, like is said they’re willing with the situation they’re in. I noticed two-non waiting staff standing around chatting at the entrance while I waited 15 minutes for someone to take my order. Clueless.

05/07/2026: Very disappointed, as a family of four we were advised of a waiting time of 20 mins which was fine, when the waitress arrived we were told there was no spaghetti, imagine in an Italian restaurant, as one of us had left the table when the order was taken we then ordered a few mins after to be informed there was no chicken, no roast potatoes or wedges available, we had to ask for our drinks three times, we got no cutlery or napkins with our starters, our main dishes all arrived separately with the first person finished before the fourth person even received their meal. We spoke to our sever and highlighted all the issues of very inedible food. They told us they ran out of food at 2pm. When we requested a discount they pretended not to understand English. When we asked to speak to a manager there was none available. They insisted on charging the full price. When we questioned why they didn't inform us at the very beginning when they brought the menus how many options were not available there was no response only blank looks. I write this review to highlight the issues of poor quality to ensure no other families are hit with a big bill for an appalling dining experience.No apologies offered at any stage.

31/12/2025: Very disappointed with how our booking was handled. We had a hen party booked at the Eyre Square Hotel for 27 February 2026 (2 nights) and paid a €975 deposit. Unfortunately, due to illness, we had to cancel just under 12 weeks before arrival. While the rooms were cancelled, the hotel retained the full deposit and showed no flexibility or accommodation given the circumstances. Overall, a very disappointing experience and one I would not recommend for group bookings.

31/12/2025: Fantastic location but poor value for money. €494.60 for 2 nights (with parking), 2 guests. On arriving to our first room we called reception as it was no bigger than a box room. Only a double bed and very little room to move. We were given a bigger room. However despite having the radiator on full and an extra plug in radiator on constant for the duration of our stay, our room was uncomfortably cold. Within two minutes of the shower running the bathroom gets flooded. We used bath towels to block the flow out towards the door. We found the bar and restaurant quite cold also. Despite staying during the middle of the festive season there was no real atmosphere in the hotel. The bar was almost empty. When we returned with 3 friends to the bar at approx 9.30 on Sunday night we were told that we couldn't order Irish coffees because the coffee machine was off. We left and went to another bar nearby. Despite phoning enroute to ask about parking, we were not told of the closest/cheapest parking. We pid €4 per day extra and had to walk further with our luggage. Overall our stay was ok but we wouldn't rush back.

21/01/2026: Its very clean but the food is horrible in it im afraid the chips are always re done and reheated so the chips and good and burgers too the size of them they are small they need to up the quantity a bit . Milkshakes horrible disgusting im sorry they never taste nice . Kebabs very nice i cant complain about them . I love love kebabs .

04/04/2026: Venue and the comedians were absolutely delightful for the night. My comment really came from this waiter who came up to me and my friend who sat at the back of the venue and told me there's absolutely no talking during the show when I was mumbling to my mate about how funny the comedian on stage was while this table of guys next to us were flat out laughing like hyenas as per the comedian describes. Absolutely perfect line up with some serious questionable hospitality.

21/03/2026: After walking along the skiffs, it was so nice to rest and have a bite to eat at this crossroads. Quick, tasty, and enjoyable.

07/03/2026: Ordered a group order for take away. Ordered earlier in the day. Pizzas are fab (and huge and as as good cold as they are hot IYKYK)!! Chips really good and the garlic mayo is the best. Great value for money! Food traveled well!

26/04/2026: Delicious turkey carvery, and very friendly staff. Make your way through the options at the counters and pay at the till, so bit of a buffet not just cafe. I was able to bring my small dog in, though it would not stop licking crumbs off the floor. Spacious toilets too.
