26/10/2025: Always love coming in here — the atmosphere is great, and Antonia behind the bar really makes it. She’s friendly, professional, and somehow remembers everyone’s order with a smile, even when it’s packed. It’s rare to find someone who consistently keeps things running so smoothly and makes every visit feel personal. She’s a real credit to the place and deserves to be recognised for it.

05/01/2026: Update to my review below. Visited again and everything went well. I loved the lamb special. I have added a few stars here now. It's nice to see that the owners are caring. I previously left a 5 star review, but after the change of ownership last year, the food quality unfortunately declined. On my first few visits after the change, all dishes (even salads) had an unpleasant smell, which I assumed may have been to old oil. I gave it a few more chances, as it's the only restaurant in the area, but eventually stopped going after a very disappointing experience with gone off salmon. After a long break, I visited again recently, and was glad to notice that the issue with the oil smell seems to have been resolved. However, there were still some inconsistencies. We were asked how we'd like our steaks cooked - my partner ordered well done, and I ordered medium - but both steaks arrived very well done. The black mushrooms did not look appetizing at all, which was disappointing, as I am a mushroom lover. The chips were quite bland, and the salad did not really appeal eather. I did not raise a complaint at the time as the meal was edible, but I am sharing this feedback in the hope that the new owner might see it, along with other similar comments, and take it on board. The place has real potential, all staff are absolutely amazing! I would love to see its food to return to the standards it once had. I promise, I will be a regular customer then!

21/01/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Osaka Sushi is an amazing place with fresh, delicious food and beautiful presentation. The sushi is always perfectly prepared, full of flavour, and made with high-quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the service is fast and professional. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real Japanese cuisine. I will definitely come back again!

20/11/2025: I dream of this fish and chips. It’s incredible. The fish is cooked to perfection. John is an absolute gentle man and makes everyone feel so welcome. I’ve never seen a chipper with a wood burning stove inside! Absolutely incredible. Fish and chips by a fire was never as good as it is the Hungry Knight. Counting down the days until I’m back there again.

18/10/2025: I don't know how this place has a 4.2 rating. Of the entire 10oz meal, plus fries with cheese and garlic sauce, the only good thing was the hamburger meat – probably thanks to the butcher from the nearby shop across the street. The fries were hard, and the bun looked like it came from a supermarket, which isn't befitting a place that claims to be an artisan burger joint. In Poland, this level of quality would probably deserve a rating of around 3. On the plus side – the service was very friendly and helpful. Perhaps the quality of the food is different in the summer, but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it in October.

09/11/2025: Would probably be busier if not full of teenagers Who just come and go with sweet and drinks not bought here taking up whole back of shop and staff not paying any attention to this used to come weekly this will be my last time as working all week just looking for a quiet coffee on a Sunday afternoon

17/11/2025: It's better than competitors in the area but nothing was really standout. Respect for the meal deal, you get some decent food for the price point. However was given the poorest seat in the place where I could barely squeeze behind the table and given a beautiful view of the cleanup station. Also had to ask for cutlery and extra straws cos those paper straws just ain't it and collapse easily.

07/10/2025: Didn't even get a hello when we walked in we decided what we wanted and got ignored and a walking group that was there was taken ahead of us, paid 36.50 for 2 quiches and 2 cappuccinos, another customer with her dogs was allowed to have her dogs sitting ON the chairs.... I wouldn't be going back that's for sure

04/12/2025: Gotta be honest I’ve gotten from here a few times now and they not once gave me what I actually ordered, they always get my order wrong and give me something else, the saving grace is that the food is very nice. the service is very fast which is great and convenient but if getting the correct order once in a while meant waiting a little longer I wouldn’t mind haha take your time lads!

15/02/2026: Went there for valentines as last minute place, was more than happy with our food my lasagne was gorgeous the sauce had a nice rich taste of it and my partner ( picky eater) loved his pasta which had the steak and Chicken in it he loved every bit of, the staff was more than lovely, such a wee hidden gem highly recommend

17/01/2026: My favourite restaurant to go to whether it's a family meal or out with the girls. Everyone enjoys their meal. The service is great. The atmosphere is relaxed. Great value and BYO is a bonus. Grande wins hands down every time!

05/12/2025: Got delivery tonight, we were very happy with the quality of the food! And delighted the driver came right up to our building, as people often don’t for apartment blocks. Unfortunately our duck pancakes didnt come with pancakes… which was quite disappointing. We also requested no mangetout in our sweet and sour chicken, but it still came with it, but that’s very minor. Will order again, but maybe check our delivery bag before taking it.

10/01/2026: Oct 2025 We stayed at this hotel while holding a memorial for my beloved sister, and I truly cannot put into words how much comfort and kindness we received during such a painful time. The hotel’s central location was perfect, and the rooms were always warm, cozy, and immaculately clean—exactly what we needed. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with many delicious options offered daily, and the dining staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating to my food allergies, which meant so much to me. We have stayed here many times over the years and always loved it, but this visit was exceptional. The compassion shown to us will never be forgotten. The hotel manager, Edel, was professional, kind, and genuinely compassionate, going above and beyond to support us on short notice. Her leadership truly shows in her amazing staff—Chloe was wonderful,, kind and professional maureen the server had outstanding service accommodating all of us especially with food allergies This hotel will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made a very difficult time a little easier.
