05/02/2025: I had dinner there recently on a Wednesday evening with a friend. It was very quiet but the service was still poor. No one approached us to ask if we wanted menus. I had to find one myself. No one approached us to take our order, my friend went up to the bar to order. One item was missing from the order, thankfully wasn’t on the bill. Spent the evening trying to catch the servers eye, had to holler for everything. The servers need adequate training. This is not exclusive to The Orchard, seems to be across the board for a lot of gastropubs and restaurants I’ve been to recently.

24/10/2024: "Warm" and "luxurious" come to mind when we recall a recent visit to Stephens Green Club to perform at a fabulous intimate wedding celebration. Everybody at the club was attentive and helpful, and this positive energy gave us the perfect start to a fun evening of live music and an eclectic disco set. Thank you to Helen and all the team for their efforts, we look forward to many more events at Stephens Green Club.

20/12/2024: Did Christmas market great people big covered space for use by patrons for family or corporate events. Community support is great and live music always a big bonus. The Owner and staff are so welcoming could not do enough for people and great atmosphere at end night when you fancy a night out in comfort with your friends..enjoy..

07/01/2025: Very happy to find vegan savory items on the menu like the breakfast burrito. Unfortunately they don't have any sweet or dessert items for vegans. When I asked the staff person at the counter she didn't know if they have anything vegan but when she asked the guy making the coffee he confirmed they have some vegan items on the menu. Training would help too so the staff know. It would be so much better. You will probably have to do your own research vegans!

30/01/2025: One of my favourite brunch places in Dublin. The food never misses, I always get the golden waffle and it’s the perfect thing when you’re craving a sweet treat for your breakfast. The staff are always lovely and the outside terrace seating is my favourite. It has the cutest cat photos. Love this place

15/02/2025: I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experience at Elephant and Castle. What was supposed to be a romantic Valentine's Day dinner turned into an absolute nightmare. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with hostility, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. When I mentioned I wasn’t sure what to order yet, the server rolled their eyes at me—an incredibly rude and unprofessional gesture. They then barked, “What ye want?” in a tone that made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. This was not the warm, welcoming atmosphere I expected, especially on a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. The service only got worse from there. We were completely ignored throughout our meal, making it impossible to order more drinks or even get the attention of the staff when we needed something. To make matters worse, I witnessed something utterly appalling: a staff member took drinks off a table after the customers said they weren’t the right ones, and then proceeded to serve those same drinks to another table. I was horrified to see the couple at that table take a sip, completely unaware of what had just happened. This level of unhygienic and unethical behavior is unacceptable. This rudeness was experienced by many as I spoke to fellow guests who also complained and felt the same way The entire experience was embarrassing and frustrating. I would never recommend Elephant and Castle to anyone, especially not for a special occasion. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere. This place is a complete letdown

12/12/2024: It's a nice place. They're working on expanding so at the moment the toilet is in a different place and not much sitting space. Loved the quirky decor and all the antiques /vintage furniture and art
