The best restaurants

01/01/2026: We ordered dinner for a large family tonight and when I got home I realised there was a mistake. I rang up and the problem was sorted really quickly and the dinner dropped out to us. The food was yummy and the service could not be faulted!

16/12/2025: My order of the Beef in Spicy Hot Garlic Sauce was a perplexing experience. I must commend the chef for achieving a level of flavour neutrality I previously thought impossible. Despite the description, the dish contained absolutely zero evidence of chili—no flakes, no seeds, and no heat. It was so bland that I was forced to perform a complete flavour reconstruction upon arriving home, integrating my own chilies and sauces to render the meal edible. This was less a restaurant meal and more a bland canvas I was overcharged for. I will not be returning

19/01/2026: Today my son was very unwell in McDonalds on the cork Rd in Waterford. I was very anxious and a lady called Mary helped me and sorted out everything and didn't make me feel embarrassed. She was so nice and so good to me and my son. Its not often you see staff who would be as kind and helpful. Thank you Mary and I have shared this with McDonalds head office. They are lucky to have you.

29/12/2025: Best fish and chips in Ireland by a long shot! Excellent quality, generous portions and very good value for money. Definitely coming back when in lainch!

16/01/2026: Wow, I cannot recommend this place enough. I didn’t get our waitress’ name but she was blonde and she went above and beyond for us. She was so welcoming, attentive and helpful. The food was 10/10.

17/12/2025: I popped into Cinnamon Alley in the morning after dropping my pup off at the vets next door. It was a handy pitstop for breakfast, which was soooo delicious that I came back later for lunch! Jill and the team were so welcoming and just absolutely lovely, making sure I had everything I needed. It's been a long time since I have eaten out somewhere where I was made feel this at home ❤️

26/08/2025: Very nice take away/restaurant situated on the main street of Bangor Erris. Lovely staff very friendly and helpful. Nice selection on the menu. Good value. Nice atmosphere.

15/08/2025: Pizzas were not homemade and the food we ordered were oily and soggy they gave us no forks or knifes or napkins yes there is a tray for all those things but clearly there was no forks or napkins

14/03/2026: I think I got the bread pudding and it was literally the best dessert I have ever had in my entire life. I stole a bite of my fiancé’s apple pie and it was soooo yum yum. Both of our desserts were served with ice cream. It was on one of those plates that somehow kept the food both warm and cold at the same time. The service was awesome (shoutout to our server I don’t remember her name but she said she was from Brooklyn). I ate there right after getting engaged at the Cliffs of Moher. I saw a rainbow that day, it was the perfect ending to the best day of my life (so far).

19/10/2025: Fantastic gastronomic experience, we ate oysters, carpaccio, and crab claws for starters, everything was divine, for main courses we ate steaks and monkfish accompanied by broccoli and potatoes, once again everything was divine, and for desserts we ordered 3 different ones to try them all and I recommend the Apple one as it was absolutely divine. I recommend making a reservation.

25/11/2025: I was here few times: always as drop in when hectic traffic- to wait for better way- with my grandson. Such warm atmosphere, smiling and friendly staff - I am very happy here when spending few hours.. and.. a beef! .. just melting in the mouth.. quiet music…. What else one would dream when outside windy and traffic jam for hours? BIG THANK YOU!!!

23/11/2025: Good hotel. Very friendly staff (in Ireland, so what do you expect), good room size, quiet, and good location if you are visiting Park West. Quite a distance from the centre of Dublin, although there is a bus that is inexpensive.

20/03/2026: Ordered a vegetarian curry for collection and received a chicken curry...for the third time!! Phoned and was told there are no refunds. Absolutely unacceptable. Zero stars.
