11/11/2024: The live music was incredibly good: I've paid for worse concerts and this one was free and with great musicians and singers. The waiter's attention was perfect. I didn't eat there, just a beer and a couple of soft drinks... But everything looked good, apparently you should eat well.

28/10/2024: Extremely rude snotty barmaid and unfriendly regulars. Visiting the area as tourist and needed to use restroom. Irish hospitality is truly dead. Tourists don't bother going in.

27/10/2024: Great wee pub, great craic with the locals, great pints! (Having two dogs in the bar is always a good conversation opener.) The job of a landlady isn’t always easy but she seems to keep a good house. A very enjoyable few hours.

23/01/2025: We ate here for a special occasion recently and didn't feel it was good value, really, or even very nice food. We had 3 courses, and the edamame beans we got as a starter were the only real veg we saw. I asked when ordering whether we should order veg on the side for our main course and were told no, but the plates were lacking. My main course was Kuro Curry - the black curry sauce was not very interesting but rich and drowned the entire plate so every bite tasted just like the first I was bored of it before I was half way through. The accompanying fermented bell pepper (yes, a veg!) was tiny in portion, less than a garnish, less than a forkful not enough to impart any flavour over the curry. My gubbeen smoked cheesecake was interesting but not really pleasing and not sweet enough to be described as dessert (throw a bit of ham in and it would have made a nice lunch). We ate using a gift voucher so blew the last of it on some warm saki which was nice but as others have noted, seems overpriced. All in all, expensive and disappointing.

10/01/2025: I went to this restaurant when first opened and I could honestly say that it was delicious and 5 star all day long I'm fortunately I haven't visited in a while And the experience I had last night was Absolutely dreadful They're waitress was so rude to us We said forget about it and walked out As we were leaving I told the girl in charge behind the counter of what had happened She did not seem to be stressed about it Some of the other diners who were sitting left to write of us Also expressed how they felt and the food was not what they expected and also the waitress was rude to them as well I'm heartly I'll give this place a 0 rating And I will never return And I also see them asking Couples to pay as soon as they order before they get to food Disgracefull

23/10/2024: Bao bun (bao bun) is stuffed with fried chicken and drizzled with rich sauce. It is served with a fresh vegetable salad on the side. There are cucumber slices and tomatoes on the salad to add a refreshing taste. Fried dumplings, golden and crispy dumplings on the outside, the fillings should be a combination of meat or vegetables, a bowl of soy sauce is provided as a dipping sauce on the side, and a small salad is garnished on the side to balance the greasiness of the dumplings. Pad Thai, with chicken and shrimp, is sprinkled with thin sprouts to add a refreshing taste. There is a small slice of lemon on the side to add sourness. This dish is colorful and has a rich sweetness. Hot and sour flavour.

29/01/2025: I stopped off here as I saw they served Ariosa coffee. I knew as soon as I lifted the cup my cappuccino was not going to be good. Such a pity,it seems like a nice place but at €4.20 a cup,it's an expensive coffee and should be better.

10/01/2025: I've been looking for the best Chinese takeaway in Dublin 8 and I've found it. I've had almost every other Chinese takeaway in Dublin 8 and this is the best one. The salt and chilli chicken is beautiful. Prawn crackers are a 10/10. Will be ordering exclusively from this place from now on.

08/11/2024: Asqueroso 🫣 🤮 fila hecho kebab y las cosas muy groseras y decepcionadas, encontré un pedazo de plástico en mi plato y el cordero era completamente fila incluso sangre cuando estaba tratando de explicar al personal (un hombre de cocina me preguntan "y" , creo que hizo el plato 🤮🫣y me cobraron precio completo incluso no comí, no puedo comer carne de fila , nunca más ir allí, no recomendar
