26/12/2025: Great pizza, I’d recommend the Dions special, Jimmy knows what he’s doing! Afrim and Brad are top men too, good food quick and friendly service.

21/12/2025: Funny the person below in the reviews says oh the cheese wasnt even melted, are you Kidding? They put cheese on it and close the lid they dont put it in the microwave too melt the cheese,and then another said oh my chicken was full of bones haha well sorry chickens do have bones blame god for that Clown !..ive being here a few times and the taco fries are AWESOME,finally a taco fries with everything in it mushrooms ect :)

23/11/2025: Don't go here if you're hungry. Went here during the week, was met by extremely small plates, very expensive for what you get, zero presentation and little to no flavour. The place itself is lovely and has a lovely vibe, but we had to go elsewhere for food after we left. Won't ever be returning for food.

07/02/2026: All five stars for the amazing restaurant in Thomas St However the Castletroy restaurant leaves a lot to be desired The manager with the glasses is loud and rude I was unable to get a bowl of soup on Wednesday 4th Feb as it was ten minutes to lunch time, three other people were sitting and eating , I was told only take away soup I walked , literally, next door to Hook n Ladder and the wonderful reception I got , given a table immediately and served soup, they were so busy, wonderful atmosphere, only three people sitting in Bella Italia , any wonder

10/11/2025: Absolutely disgusting and rude. My god. 2 samosas for 4.5 euros. Got in the guy did not come to me for a few mins even though I was the ONLY ONE THERE. takes my order and asks me to come back even though I the whole restaurant was empty. I left because I wanted to see what he does. I Come back after 15 mins. He hands me a bag and gives me a warm coke. When I ask for a cold one. He laughed and said he doesnt have any. Can you imagine. Rock hard burger bun. Dirty tasting samosas. 0 star. Hope that guys sees this. My god Shameful

08/07/2025: We had a lovely meal but more importantly, the pints were lovely, no line cleaner taste. Friendly staff, lovely character to the building. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area for the spuds. 5 ⭐

27/05/2025: Could not be a worse experience. Service was beyond appalling. Male server got the drinks order wrong, even after confirming it with us. No apology just into a huff. Customer service was non existent. Anyways, ordered pulled pork wrap. Absolutely terrible, no flavour, no rub or sauce used. Pork was hard, not shredded or pulled. Stuffed in some dry lettuce, no onion, no jalapeños, no cheese, no beans, no rice. Awful in every way. Place was deserted when we went in. Can see why. Sad

14/01/2026: Dropped in to Hotel for lunch my first time in Balinamore I wanted to explore the town but it started to rain 🌧 will go back again

29/10/2025: Stopped here for food as we out abd about walking in the area , absolutely great place, friendly staff and customers, very very good pint of Guinness (and Im fussy when it comes to Guinness), we ordered 2x fish and chips, texan style burger meal and a roast type meal, all were cooked perfect, generous portions and extra chips brought to us at no cost. And the price is very reasonable too. Will definitely be back when next in the area.

28/02/2026: Really good wood fired pizza. It was so refreshing because so many pizza places get hyped and you get there in the food is awful. This was really authentic and delicious. I was chatting with a stranger while I was waiting and she recommended the pistachio dessert and it was great.

29/11/2025: Recently at the Ballsbridge branch, delivery option is regularly not available. Ordered Collection, went down for allotted time, mayhem inside. Staff answering the phone and checking orders appeared new, slow and flustered, had to stand around for 10 mins before I accosted a worker and then 1 of 2 ordered pizza’s was retrieved from a heating bag. Had to wait another 5 mins until someone bothered looking for pizza 2. Various people in the restaurant in the same boat as me, frustration was rife. Suffice to say pizza was not hot, was saggy and greasy once home. With the cost of pizza’s, please do better. Expensive treat tarnished by poor service today

03/11/2025: Great local well run bar with music midweek and weekends. Available for functions also i.e. Birthday party. Located within the heart of old Cork City at Blackpool.

07/10/2025: I attended a birthday party great night staff were efficient and friendly and finger food was plentyfull and tasty would recommend here for an parties

12/12/2025: Fantastic restaurant ,playgrounds and walks for families,learn about the animals,walk to find the fairies on the fairytale,fabulous out of this world preschool facilities.

14/09/2025: I was surprised to see such setting in the middle of nowhere but busy. Seems to me that the families and kids enjoying the atmosphere. Only one criticism not negative but positive although there are forks available but would be best to place it either at the table or bring it with cake when serving the birthday cake. My children waited politely but other kids just used their hands. Also some napkins needs to be place on the table not at the entrance. Hope they will listen.

27/06/2025: I'm a regular here and have always been a fan of their doner. Got the doner last week and it was a greasy mess. Thought it was a one time thing. Had doner again last night and its just awful. doesnt even taste like meat anymore. Don't know what happened here lads.

14/02/2026: Stopped in for a couple pints and had a lovely time. The owner is delightful and the setting so beautiful! Would love to just simply stay ❤️

12/08/2025: I visited The Imperial Bar and I must admit that it has a unique atmosphere. The decor is elegant, with classic accents, creating a comfortable and somewhat sophisticated space. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of seating for both large and small groups. The service was very professional and attentive, which significantly contributed to my positive impression. The menu offers a wide range of drinks, from classic cocktails to more unique offerings that are truly worth trying. Furthermore, the selection of whiskeys and other spirits is impressive. The prices are moderate for this type of establishment. It's the perfect place for an evening get-together with friends or a quiet, relaxing afternoon with a drink.

21/05/2025: I have a disability, I went into the pub for 1 pint, they discredited me and wouldn't serve me, it's a disgrace in today's society, they should be ashamed

16/11/2025: Was very disappointed with my experience here. Ordered 2 hot chocolates received one and was waiting 10 minutes to be asked with an attitude “what am I waiting for” - explained I only received one of the two, after another 12 minutes of waiting (at this point I was keeping track) I had to ask was it on the way as I had to leave. I initially went in to grab a “quick” hot chocolate to go - I was informed that it was forgotten about AGAIN. Overall waited nearly 25 minutes for a hot chocolate. I wouldn’t return not simply because of the service but because of the attitude of the female working there.

01/02/2026: Very disappointing overall. The food was tasteless, the decor was very disappointing, lighting very poor. The service and staff were pleasant but I definitely will never be returning.

12/09/2025: Great food goodd price. Wife and I ate for $57 American dollars. Accept cards. Fish and chips were great. Coffee and hot cocoa were excelent.
