The best restaurants

26/05/2026: I have never left a review in my life. Came in at almost 6pm and somehow got treated like I'd interrupted the world's busiest shift despite the place not even being busy. Ordered a Cherry Refresher. Customer service. Gone. Missing. Then I get handed a drink that tastes like someone introduced it to tap water and called it innovation. So I politely asked if it could be switched to lemonade. And instead of remaking it properly, the barista pours half of it out and tops it off with lemonade like he's performing experimental beverage surgery. So now I've paid full price for a sad diluted excuse of a drink and got attitude on the side for free.

22/04/2026: Deli and counter staff are great. Manageress was rude to me when I tried to order a sandwich cos I didn't want to tie my dog outside in case he was stolen. Her attitude was awful. I know rules are rules but there is a nice way to carry them out.

15/05/2026: Had a wonderful day in the Woodman bar .A bar my family have visited since since the late70's Many thanks to the staff on thd day /night ,Richie, PJ ,Tommy and Ciara who couldn't have been more helpful and engaging in making sure we had a very enjoyable experience, Great characters along the bar ,Matthew, The 2 Johnny's, Niall and Gerry meant the craic was mighty!We Appreciated been felt very welcome which is always the case with Waterford Folk .We hope to see you all again soon for a jar . (Dublin Nev's Cousin 😆)Guys out there ..this is the place to have a drink 👌

11/12/2025: First of all, the food is too salty. They put too much salt in the food. I had to rinse the food under running water to get rid of the excess salt. Then I reheated it and ate it because I was hungry.

06/09/2025: The chicken burger at Topbun was delicious – crispy, juicy, and full of flavour. The portion was just right, and it felt fresh and well made. Definitely worth trying if you love a good chicken burger.

05/05/2026: We ordered a Chicken Fillet Roll and a Ceasar Chicken Wrap. The roll was good, the wrap on the other hand was very poorly filled, it was so small and almost flat. I don't know why the blonde woman put so little filling, it was not justified for the price of 5,80 € and left one of us hungry afterwards ... Unfortunately a kind of sad experience, wouldn't come here again. There are other places that sell sandwiches in the area you could try if you're actually hungry.

24/04/2026: The sandwich was pretty good, but the staff was awful! The man who served us should find another job; service is clearly not his strong point… it ruined everything, which is a real shame.

31/05/2026: I've eaten here many times over the years and the food is always excellent. Compared with Dublin prices, it's great value too. Strangely enough, they never seem to be busy. I hope more people visit this under-appreciated gem!

25/10/2025: Jim McGees is finally back to its roots and no longer an Ipase Centre for Ukranians. All rooms have been refurbished and are good to go. Its very nice to see it getting back to Jim and Betty's days with happy tourists.

19/06/2026: No complaints at all. The older lady behind the counter is very sweet and kind. Their coffee tastes great, and they also offer plant-based milk alternatives for an additional charge.

16/05/2026: The food is good . The staff are abit unatentive . At 4.30pm on a saturday the floor was unclean, tables not cleared away after people had left them. The site itself is need of new cleaners and or a make over as its just grim . The gents toilet room and doors are not nice . The more you look the more you see its run down.

04/06/2026: Had soup of the day, delicious, home made and served with lovely home made brown soda bread. Definitely recommend
