The best restaurants

25/08/2026: Ordered 4 seperate dishes for a family takeaway, all 4 dishes had completely zero flavour and somehow tasted off at the same time, shortly after eating we all experienced stomach pains, had the customer service been more pleasant I would've called and complained, anyone thinking of stopping here for a nice meal, please avoid it.

15/04/2026: Food hygenine here is none i was told of a previous worker that the fish was out and had flies all over it all the time and i can see its dirty myself funny enough the last time i had fish me and my partner were sick ... we got chips served like par boiled spuds the dirt in the place and what iv heard and seen isnt too good .wouldnt ever return to here standerd of food going down hill rannkkkk avoid

17/03/2026: Berehaven Lodge is a lovely and comfortable place to stay with a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-kept, making it a relaxing experience. The lodge also offers pods, which are a unique and enjoyable way to stay. The surrounding views are beautiful and add to the charm of the place

05/09/2026: Came here to grab a something to eat and grab a beer. We got here at 4pm when google said they opened at at 2pm and the kitchen opened at 3pm. The bartender said he had just opened and when I asked for food, he said food was not being served. Oh well, moved on. Please fix your you hours and fix your food hours.

09/09/2026: We arrived at the restaurant just as they were closing, but the young lady and gentleman working were incredibly kind and welcoming and happily seated us. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt so well looked after. We are already looking forward to coming back and dining here again. We genuinely couldn’t fault a thing — a lovely restaurant, delicious food and fantastic service. Highly recommended!

26/07/2026: We discovered this restaurant about 4 years ago, and it has been our go-to spot for dine-in and takeaways. The food is exceptional, and the staff is amazing. I cannot recommend this enough!

30/08/2026: Very disappointed with our experience here. I just want to clarify that the food was decent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was good. I also want to stress that the servers were working extra hard and very pleasant. I could not fault them. All staffed looked super stretched. At one point, I even saw a staff member run from the adjacent Steak restaurant to a table to give the a cariff of water and then run back to the steak restaurant. The service ended up being quite poor which took away from the experience. We were waiting for one of tapas dishes for ages and offered dessert menu before it came. It was if they forgot we were waiting on this this tapas dish. We were offered dessert and then were sitting for over 40 mins on the dessert to come out so we cancelled but it was as if the server forgot. Our drinks were left empty for ages and no one was checking in on us and we were handed wrong dishes so it was if the servers were overwehlemed and couldnt remember or just do basic aspects of their jobs. Tables around us weren't being cleared either We were a bit annoyed by the managers response when we commented on the service- two people didn't show up for work so it seemed like we just have to deal with it and take it on the chin for them. Not our fault and think this should have been communicated from the onset or we could have had a drink or two knocked off the bill which would have been appreciated for the poor service. We saw on the bill that it's owned by a chain so a free round of drinks wouldn't put the company out....

28/08/2026: Went to Tore on a Wednesday around 7.30pm no booking and honestly, you’d swear it was Saturday night 😂 The place was absolutely hopping full house, candles glowing, dark autumn evening outside. Two lovely ladies looked after us and the service was brilliant. They also do a great Wednesday deal. Food was gorgeous pil pil was delicious, although I’d happily take a bit more fire . Tempura was beautiful, chorizo was unreal, steak was spot on and the croquetas were fantastic, because frankly, if you don’t order croquetas in a tapas bar, why are you even there? Great food, great service, brilliant atmosphere and a restaurant absolutely buzzing midweek.

31/07/2026: I was here last night and the staff member called saorise was very nice. I had questions about the menu and she was happy to explain and let me take my time. My girlfriend and I were very happy with the service, thank you saorise

27/07/2026: I ordered a burrito bowl for delivery and honestly feel kinda scammed. The portions are ridiculous for the price. Just about half the box is all you get for 15e. Never again!

10/05/2026: Go to tramore regular with my two god children we go for a swim in splashworld, then we go for a bite to eat, recently we decided to make a change from usual places on the prom we would go for food this time we went up into the town of tramore and found that O'Shea's Hotel was open. We walked inside and were shown to a table and drinks order was taken, found setting to be comfortable warm and friendly it was fab to see open fire 🔥 on the go while there nice to see little tradition kept going. After short wait our drinks were brought to the table. And then our food order was taken by fantastic friendly waitress, she didn't leave us untill she had each order exactly as each one at table required. After short wait food was brought out and I was very surprised with what arrived at the table, i can say O'Shea's exceeded our expectations. Food was hot as it should always be and service received was total above expectations, waitress kept checking to see if everything was ok and to our satisfaction and I can not fault them. There was noting to fault them on. As for the food portions and quality of the food I'll leave pics on here so readers can draw their own opinion, all I can say is O'Shea hotel tramore thank you for the wonderful service you gave us on our visit and we plan to revisit again, keep up what you are doing as it's what customers look for and want when visiting a good business or hotel and restaurant establishment. Don't change what your doing as it works so don't try and fix it coz it is not broke.

16/09/2026: Good takeaway chips cooked fresh. Big variety on the menu. Nice staff, very clean premises. Bench seats outside

11/09/2026: Ordered fish and a bag of chips, came together in a box,fish batter was so soft,not one bit of crunch absolutely terrible, will never order from there again

15/09/2026: Really good chicken wrap! 🌯 The food was fresh, tasty and filling, and the price was very reasonable. Great value for money, especially for a 24-hour shop. Will definitely come back again! 👍

23/08/2026: The staff were very rude and unhelpful. I had a bad experience with them and they did not treat customers nicely. I hope their service and behaviour improve.

11/09/2026: Lovely cafe with great coffee and nice pastries and scones, fruit, and plain. Also had a great selection of homemade ice creams

18/08/2026: A little disappointed, I ordered the pork sandwich. The pork was good, but it was served in half a roll, without salad (even though it was listed on the menu), and with three crisps... they must only serve tourists 🤷‍♂️

26/12/2025: We arrived at The Port House Cava for our booking at 1pm Christmas Eve. The restaurant was empty except for one table. All the other tables were vacant. The server greeted us and immediately warned us he needed the table back at 3pm. That’s fine. We sat. We waited. The same server was down the back chatting with the kitchen over the pass. We waited a little longer, still no drinks order was coming. I decided to draw some attention to our table by going up to the empty bar. The only occupied table gave me a glance that I read as a comment on the hopeless service as they tried to get the same servers attention. He was still chatting at the pass while the only two tables were both waiting for some attention. Up to the bar he saunters, I ask if we can order some prosecco. We only have Cava he says “they are the same thing”. No there not I reply, but ok let’s have a bottle of cava and if you don’t mind 6 glasses for our table. Back at our table he produces a wine list which would have been handy when we were seated. The cava arrives. It’s barely chilled. I say nothing. Again the same server reminds us that he needs the table back at 3pm. My blood is boiling at this stage as my family as I are made feel like we are an obstruction of sorts. The food arrives and it’s delicious. Well presented. Well cooked and a delight. The first bottle of cava is empty. I’d like to order another but the server is back down at the pass chatting again. To command he attention, again I get up and venture to the bar. Another server has started his shift just before 2pm. He’s more attentive. We order another cava and a bottle of rosé. 2.40pm and the 2nd server starts clearing our table. 2.50pm and they are hovering around our table to let us know it’s almost time to go. The restaurant is still empty except for one other 3top table. The bill arrives and I settle at the bar leaving half the tip I normally would. I ask the server why the hard push on getting the table back while the restaurant is empty. He has no answer. Which points me toward the owner or manager who I know will read this review. So, dear sir or madam, your pockets would be better lined if you spent as much time on encouraging your staff to deliver a good experience rather than a punctual one. You’re employing bus boys, not servers. We’re paying for the experience of which the food is only part. The atmosphere was dead just like the bookings. What’s the different between The Port House Cava and Tapas Del Lola? The staff. The staff. The staff. You’re doing Camden Street no favours with this diabolical customer service. I strongly suggest you consider adding some charm somewhere because you’re just not at the level of some of your good neighbours.

11/07/2026: Sticky floors, wall-to-wall match day programmes, tourists should visit on any GAA match day in Croke Park just to sample the atmosphere. Rival supporters standing shoulder to shoulder chatting, laughing and the occasional slagging. Nowhere else in the world does this happen. Go see it for yourself.
