The best restaurants

13/11/2025: I supplied decorations for a June wedding at The Ring of Kerry Golf Club and arranged to collect them afterwards. I first emailed in July and August, then called in September, and was told by the manager, Eamon, that they would look for the decorations. However, I never received any follow-up. I emailed again in October and was told that it’s “policy” for unclaimed wedding decorations to be disposed of and that mine were most likely thrown away. I was also told they had “attempted to contact me”, which is simply not true. They had both my phone number and email address, and I check both multiple times a day. What makes this worse is that I had reached out several times trying to get them back. When I then requested that the decorations be replaced, I was given an email address for a manager that doesn’t even exist, my emails just bounced back. It’s such a pity, because the venue itself is beautiful, but the lack of accountability and professionalism from management has been extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend relying on them to safely store or return any items after an event.

11/10/2025: Need to be accurate off the tee here. Couple of blind drives. Buggy is nearly a must otherwise you'll be adding some hillwalking to your round. Clubhouse is nice and pro shop was excellent.

29/11/2025: Gluten-free options were great. Separate toaster and oil for the food. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back here again soon.

22/11/2025: Just an update in Nov 25. The food is better than ever. Just had one of the best hot and sour soups, packed with meat and prawns and deliciously spicy. The spice bag had delicious and large chicken pieces with very good chips. Breast of Chicken curry, fried rice and spare ribs all very good. Top class. Very tasty, authentic and consistent Chinese restaurant. Excellent for take away, top marks from me.

09/11/2025: delivery time needs to be set up earlier, we orderd at 4:55 as soon as they open it, all we got was chicken balls chips and 3 in 1 the food didnt arrive until 6:25, when we called at 6:05 the lady said its on the road and wont be long, we then called at 6:18, the lady once again said its on the way, lo and behold it did not arrive until 6:25. Either hire more drivers or open the times earlier

09/08/2025: Food and Coffee was nice. What was brilliant was the service from Jess ( I believe her name was). She was very welcoming and kind. Atmosphere in the place was nice and chill too.

16/02/2026: Advertising about the 2 for 1 deal outside the joint and on the app but, they apparently don't have scanners. Utterly disgraceful to see an Irish owned establishment to do this type of tomfoolery

08/02/2026: Had Dinner here today with my Daughters and their friend the food was burnt and the service was very poor we had to ask for cutlery and were totally ignored the whole time.just eat and get out. Toilets were closed and when my Daughter asked to use them she was told to sit down. I use to like this place but wont be going back.

26/12/2025: I would recommend their satay sauce, somewhat the best in LK I would reckon. Always pair your meal with satay sauce add-on. You won't regret it. Their spice bag are so flavourful. And chicken ball is just crunchy on the outside and juicy inside.

19/12/2025: We always order lunch from Abra for delivery at work and couldn’t be happier! The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are very generous. Always fresh, delivered food is always hot - couldn’t recommend them enough!!!

01/03/2026: I wouldn’t normally leave a review but the food was so bad and highly priced that I felt strong enough to leave a review., I got the lasagna and my partner got the fish pie. Both dishes were extremely bad. The fish pie was basically a bowl of chowder with a few breadcrumbs and the lasagna was overheated and the tea was cold. I would not recommend at all

20/02/2026: Came here on Saturday Morning around 11am. It was chaotic, people skipping queue bumping into each other. No one to greet you or let you know where to sit. Got a seat at the window which was a right squeeze. Had to go up after 5mina to ask for a menu for food, waited for a waiter to come to take my order which didn’t happy so had to order at the till which was a mess. Food took about 20mins to arrive. No cutlery or sugar for coffee or butter for toast. Went back up to the till and waited 5 mins for some to ask what was wrong. Staff seem to be all over the place not remembering what people ordered, table numbers or what has gone out to people. Food was ok, rashers were burnt. Ordered a caramel ice latte ( see photo). Price is good but service could be better!

23/10/2025: Had a great night until they watered down my 2 drinks and charged me for 2 more when I told them they were watered down. I wasn't the only one at the bar getting watered down drinks as 2 other people beside me said the same thing. If you want value for money don't drink here! Bar staff didn't believe me until I was adamant they taste the drinks also.

28/08/2025: A lively pub staff sound bar man very entertaining and mixes with every one hes so down to earth great atmosphere great tunes Awsome night out and a very welcoming pub always busy here that's a gud sign

20/07/2025: The locals are rude and ignorant was at a Christening and the were rude to the children who were just having fun will never be in side there doors again

12/12/2025: Spotless clean fresh relaxing interior facade is tired looking but don't let that put you off.. Lovely friendly staff Good value for a tasty breakfast Will be back 👍

29/08/2025: Fancied a Chinese and this was quick service and both the chicken chow mein and chicken in black bean sauce were a good size portion and tasted great

22/08/2025: Was there for all ireland football final .. didn't open untill 1230 .. can't believe they don't look for exemption for the 2 finals .. people queuing outside for 2 hours to get in ..
