28/01/2025: Had a really long week at work.. Decided to finish my week by going out for dinner and a glass of wine. Dinner was heavenly! We got starters and main courses and every thing couldn't have been more tasty or perfect!! Sitting at home relaxing now - still thinking about how amazing the food was!! I wish I could've taken better photos but I was just too impatient and hungry lol! Next time 😊
20/10/2024: Typical Irish pub/restaurant, we were only there for a quick stop and didn't eat, but everything that came out of the kitchen looked very good.

15/08/2024: We stopped here for lunch and coffee today and had the best experience! I am coeliac (gluten free) and Dylan went out of his way to look after me. He has a great knowledge of cross contamination procedures and fresh ingredients were opened especially for me, without even mentioning it myself. I had a delicious toasted sandwich and cup of soup. My husband's toasted wrap and coffee were perfect too! Our day was made by our visit to Sugar & Spice and we really appreciate the care and kindness!

Cosy atmosphere with the open fire on, I wasn't able to manage a pudding but from looking at others they looked lovely too.
Highly recommend 😀

29/12/2024: Had a great night with my 2 brothers in laws. Nice and clean place. Smoking area, pool room with jukebox. Service was great and locals were friendly and we beat the local pool shark 🤣🤣 A big thank to the staff.
08/10/2024: My first time in Thurles was an absolute pleasure, many thanks to Larry's! Larry and the family serving me were incredibly kind and lovely to talk with; I would highly recommend Larry's to those who find themselves in the Tipperary area.

19/08/2024: I can't comment on the food because we only had a few pints. Very rich, yes. The interior is surprising for being built on the remains of a Gothic church.

03/02/2025: Visited the place for lunch on Saturday, I can appreciate it being busy and understand how stressful the hospitality industry can be. However the service was shocking, we waited by the deli to order and were told to order at the till, a few minutes later there was a couple ordering directly from the deli so unsure what that was about. We placed an order for two coffees and one sandwich. We waited around 15 minutes for the sandwich to come, it was made wrong. I brought it back to ask for it to be fixed and waited back at my table. Another 10-15 minutes went by and the sandwich arrived, thrown together, hardly toasted and on a dirty plate. Just not good enough, I’ll never go back again.
02/02/2025: Severely overpriced. Paid €25 for two coffees and 2 pots of overnight oats. The oats were watery and didn’t taste great.
I’m from Dublin and two pots of porridge and coffee wouldn’t cost this much there.

13/12/2024: I went here last week we order food which was fabolous..but the elderly woman just talk too much ..we were waiting 20 mins to be served as she was having a casual conversation with too lady. Also I don't want to seem roud but there was a smell off body odor off her and hair was all over the place not very professional or bygenic..but it was worth the wait we got beautiful wings and pizza .,.
