11/01/2026: We stayed as a large group split over three apartments. It was perfect. Very friendly, central location and comfortable.
22/11/2025: Sorry but, not for me, room small, extremely noisy, other guests arriving back very late, and could hear every sound. Went to boil kettle, to find it half full with dirty cloudy water. Self service breakfast cold. Even though cost is low, I still expect good clean basic service.

31/01/2026: Consistenly good. Spacious with plenty of different types of seating. Top service. Chilled background music at just the right volume. Decent coffee and breakfast choices including nondairy milks. Egg and cress sandwich scores 60/100 on Yuka - pity they were out of them this morning, sausage bap not as nice!
07/10/2025: I order chai latte, croissant, and ham cheese sandwiche, and all plugins is not working! I try to charge my phone, works for 1 min and turn off! I think someone like (staff)turn it off because i tried all plugs in the shop and no one works.. I never seen anything like that before!!

01/09/2025: The bartender is a sight to behold! Effective and highly professional.
We stopped by because it was on our way home and thought we'd have the "second to last" one.
The atmosphere was masculine and, above all, older... But it was worth it.

15/11/2025: Visited Nov 14th. Staff were so nice and genuine. I come here regularly and never feel rushed out of there or uncomfortable. I often come to work or study and stay till closing on occasion. My favorite insomnia.
20/10/2025: Nice coffe shop friendly staff i go a lot. But very very dull.dark inside kinda cold interior coffe always warm warm sadly

03/05/2025: Not a very good experience, Rashers and pudding rock hard, very overdone. Chips and mushrooms very undercooked. Wrap was very dry. Service not the best. Will not be back.

06/12/2025: So Im out having a Xmas drink first time in along time and Ive just moved the town and please be advised I was told this pub was somewhere to go to enjoy and relax but they bar man was horrible and insulting and rude i didn't even bother to order a drink for someone to judge someone is a horrible person and place and he said he didn't know me well I didn't know your pub and I will never know it for they horrible disgusting judgemental way they barman was so that was my experience 2seconds

It seems the name has changed to LaHoya z but it doesn't show up in Maps with that name .

26/09/2025: given this coffee a try twice, both times tasted bad unfortunately. The beans are either gone off/ out of date or the machine dirty? Try new fresh beans maybe? The owner should look into why it tastes so off, cus they have a lovely cafe and lovely staff.
