06/10/2024: We wanted a bag of chips while we walked through the city and found a heaping bag at Joe’s and they were delicious. Highly recommend with salt and vinegar.

05/12/2024: Absolutely Atrocious Attitude from The bar man on Tuesday.Went in for a hot chocolate with my son at 6 o clock All tables set no customers Bar man leaning back on the Bar chatting to the other staff who were up on stools drinking.I got looks from the minute I went in like I was an inconvenience for them.Went up to the bar to ask for 2 hot chocolates and was told by the bar man "well I don't do them" is what he said,so I asked is there anyone here that can ? And I was met with a one word reply which was No.All staff sitting staring at me and I was just dismissed.Never again will I enter these premises.Bar man needs an Attitude adjustment and staff need to be up doing there jobs instead of sitting listening and ignoring me.No wonder the place was empty customers seem to be an inconvenience to staff.

10/11/2024: We had a takeaway and like some of the other reviews mentioned, there is simply not enough meat in the dishes. It is far too expensive for a takeaway and the portion sizes. The onion bhajis were cremated and then reheated. I would be embarrassed giving them to someone let alone selling them. I never finish an Indian takeaway when at home (we were visiting family) but this didn’t fill any of us. The containers are very large but they are all sauce. Additionally rice is extra and does not come with the dishes. Portions of that are small. We ordered two Naan breads and they gave us the incorrect ones. And in the same vein every Indian restaurant I have been to around the world provide complimentary poppadoms, mint sauce etc. There was none of that here. I won’t be returning.

14/10/2024: Visitamos ayer y optamos por una comida para llevar en lugar de comer en. Muhammad era muy amable y ofreció un gran servicio. Nos dijeron que la comida estaría lista en 25 minutos y así fue. La comida estaba deliciosa, cocinada perfectamente y los productos muy frescos utilizados. Sin duda volveremos cuando vuelva en la zona.

04/02/2025: Best Paneer Veg pizza. Very delicious Very satisfying . Love the taste . Also got a complimentary Chilli pokoda, was the best. Guys must try 10 / 10. Clean place and friendly staff .

15/09/2024: We went to this place because the girl in the tourist information recommended to us. We ordered the seafood platter and it was just 4 crab legs, 2 slices of salmon and plenty of coleslaw, pasta, salad...not worthy at all sorry! The price 24€. Maybe it wasn't the day but we won't come back. Answering your reply: We don't want to argue, it's up to you if you want to improve or not. We use to do reviews and read them as well. We ate all the fish (and you're right I forgot to mentioned it was 1 piece of fish cake) because we were starving but we were glad we ordered just one plate. My friend is Irish, she's a manager in a restaurant and I've been living in there so many years so I don't understand when you said in this country when you eat you pay. You asked me everything ok? and I told you "it was ok", nothing else. I didn't tell you any time I didn't want to pay because it's not just in Ireland, everywhere if you eat you pay. So please don't mix things. We were having dinner and breakfast at Murray's doonmore and was amazing the service and the food so our reviews over there are really good. When it's good is good and when it's bad is bad. And that plate wasn't worth it.

10/12/2024: It's a nice and cozy place with a large window view on parking and lots of light. Staff is helpful. Coffee should be better.

09/12/2024: Se quedó de pie para pedir un café y la mujer detrás del mostrador que no hacía nada finalmente me miró y apenas me reconoció. No hay buenos modales y servicio sin una sonrisa. El hombre que producía el café callaba y me trataba como si fuera un objeto. Estas personas no tienen buenos modales y no deberían trabajar en la industria de servicios. El negocio se basa en tratar a los clientes de una manera educada y profesional para que los clientes regresen y gasten más dinero. No puedo recomendar este negocio Costa Dawson street. En mi opinión, no merece ser personalizado con esta falta de servicio al cliente. Turista o no, evite este negocio. No es la primera vez que recibo un servicio de basura en este lugar. No gastaré un centavo aquí otra vez.

03/02/2025: Ordered the Tikka Masala and I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious. like seriously WOW. I only have a couple little complaints but tbh they didn't really bother me whatsoever 1: The Dubstep music playing was a bit intense. My ears were literally vibrating 🙌 2: There was a hair in my friend's kebab which kinda turned her stomach just a little (she still finished the meal tho). Overall wonderful place and I'd HIGHLY recommend it. I'll 100% be coming back 👍👍👍

25/09/2024: One of the larger Asian supermarkets in Dublin, and due to the Jervis Centre car park right opposite possibly the best if you plan to load your car with mainly Chinese, but also Thai, Filipino etc. ingredients. In-store fresh vegetables, fruit, butchers' counter, fish counter, and even a takeaway restaurant. Bit of a market feeling, and it can get a bit cramped at busy times. But generally helpful and friendly staff will help you if you need it. Prices are hit and miss, you get some stuff cheaper elsewhere, other goods are lower priced, my best guess is that at the end of the shopping you pay much the same as in other Asian supermarkets. Only let-down (but this is NOT the fault of Oriental Emporium) is the sometimes quite unsavoury crowd hanging about the LUAS stop right in front of the entrance.

18/12/2024: We were their first clients at 5.30 and the place was freezing. The waitress apologised , she was lovely . Food was nice but we thought a bit expensive. 2 main meals , 2 desserts , 2 glasses of wine €94 🤔
