The best restaurants

25/08/2026: I went there with friends, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated very poorly. I would not recommend this place to anyone because of the owner’s lack of manners and respect.

21/08/2026: The ambience here is amazing! The staff is very friendly, and the food came out fast. Good food and a variety of cocktails. Must try!

13/08/2026: Quality of the food is always on point. The staff are all very friendly, diligent and very accommodating when it comes to wanting to customise orders or individual needs. I’m usually there after work just before or when waiting on a bus home, the staff are always efficient at getting orders out quickly if needs be. Can’t speak too much on the atmosphere as I’m usually there for a quick grab and go or a preorder but the staff all seem to get on and it’s a comfortable environment to enjoy your food

20/07/2026: It was nice enough, originally they put way too much sauce / slaw in my kebab , but I brought it up and they were happy to change it straight away. The staff are very nice here, I didn’t feel akward asking to change the kebab . The second kebab was better the meat was lovely. But I’m extremely particular with kebabs cos I owned a kebab shop.

22/08/2026: Ordered a pizza got served very quick pizza was barely Luke warm and looked like it had been sorting waiting in someone to order it Not the first time here previous experience very good and food was lovely so will go back and try again

18/08/2026: I went there with my family, my husband my two daughters and myself. We ordered a pizza each and my daughter got pizza slice and the wedges. We had an infant so she nibbled on our food. I wish I could give this place a better review because the first time we went there the food was amazing. This is our second time at the place and you were served by a lady with blonde hair who see us she seemed nice at the start but when she took our order, she seemed slightly judgemental as if we didn’t belong there. My family and I felt very unwanted and I couldn’t wait to eat and get out of the place. For three people with three fizzy drinks it was €60. In my opinion, it was not worth that money. My daughter’s pizza tasted of nothing. My pizza was cold when it came to the table and my husband’s pizza, which was the diavola tasted like pizza crust and ricotta cheese. The lady that served us was clearly the owner and she had more important things to be doing then to be caring for her customers like sitting down with her family to have dinner which I thought was extremely unprofessional. Every time I looked, she was sitting down at the table spending time with them. The place was empty. I’d say about four tables were taken. I had to ask for her highchair it was never offered to us which is pouring my opinion considering we had an infant. And unfortunately, the next day after consuming the pizza, my husband and I and my daughter became extremely ill. After this visit, I will 100% avoid this restaurant three issues, one the manager/owner is extreme rude, two servers seem apathetic and couldn’t be bothered, and lastly the food made us ill for three days. My advice as a family with two young girls avoid avoid avoid!!! Who kills me? Is that we spent €60 on a meal that was sub standard and then wound up making us sick! Also the last note they offer wedges to children it would be better if they got a proper kids menu instead of putting the kids menu in with the sides offer something decent like a mini pizza and the least you could do is have French fries. I won’t be back until they improve things. Looking back, I wish we had just gone to Supermacs. It would’ve been a lot cheaper and I’m much nicer meal!

30/11/2025: I used to love Nancy’s Bar, but during my last visit it became obvious that non-white customers are treated differently by the bouncers. I was allowed in, yet my husband who is non-white and was properly dressed was denied entry without any explanation. This was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I won’t be returning to Nancy’s again, which is unfortunate because the bar staff have always been lovely.

30/11/2025: I visited Limerick for one night with a friend after traveling all the way from Galway, and unfortunately our experience at Nancy Blake’s was extremely disappointing. When we reached the entrance, the bouncer refused us entry with a vague “not tonight guys,” even though we were sober, respectful, and simply looking to enjoy the night. What made the situation worse was watching the group directly behind us—local white patrons—walk in without any questions or hesitation. When we politely asked for a reason for being denied, none was given. The entire interaction felt discriminatory and left us feeling singled out for no legitimate reason. As visitors who were excited to experience the city’s nightlife, this was a genuinely upsetting moment. No one should be treated like this at the door of any establishment. I hope the management takes this seriously, because experiences like this leave a lasting negative impression on travelers.

16/05/2026: The host was amazing! Eddie definitely made our night memorable. The lamb was really good, but the monk fish was definitely the best I ever had (it’s a most try). The pavlova was alright, however it was advised to try the vegan mousse, which retrospectively we should have followed the advise. Never posted a review, but everything was so great that felt the need to. PS: we had the mussels as a starter and it was amazing!!

01/04/2026: I was attending a wedding in hotel Doolin and I had the opportunity to have the breakfast at Glas. It was absolutely outstanding. The pictures speak for themselves. I had the smoked fish and it was one of the best breakfasts ive ever had. Superb service.

29/08/2026: The machine never has the drink you pay for. Then when you ask for refund it's made a big deal out of. Why would they let you pay for a drink they don't have.

10/09/2026: I had the chicken fried rice for my meal and it was so delicious that I went back the next night and ordered the SAME THING! The chunks of white meat chicken are large and I loved the flavor of the rice.

15/09/2026: 1 cod meal medioca awful chips ,worst I've had in years , tasted like cheap frozen chips and rock hard , fish was tasteless and greasy ,to be fair the service is great , seen a lot of complaints about the chips , everyone cant be wrong, pity they not change the supplier

12/09/2026: Would not recommend. Got the fried Cod meal. The fish is basically tasteless and oily, and the chips are not that great either many pieces are hard. Did not enjoy at all. And they only give wooden utensils. Would not try again.

05/09/2026: Extremely disappointing experience. I came to town specifically to visit this pub and was looking forward to spending the evening there, only to be refused entry by the bouncer without being given any clear reason. I hadn’t been drinking at all, wasn’t causing any trouble, and there was no explanation whatsoever for why I was turned away. Being treated like that after making a specific trip to visit the place was incredibly frustrating. If there was a legitimate reason for refusing entry, the least they could have done was explain it. Instead, I was simply refused at the door and left feeling completely unwelcome. Needless to say, I won’t be making the effort to visit again, and based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone. A really poor first impression and an even worse way to treat a potential customer.

05/09/2026: Turned up to the old grainstore this evening after 1 pint with dinner and got refused entry by a male bouncer because we were a group of 5 lads. We were meeting 2 friends from Westport who then had to leave the bar as we were refused entry. Not good enough but we will take our money somewhere else

14/08/2026: I was craving a burger and was happy to find a tasty one here! I will be back in Italy in a couple of months and will be sure to stop by here again.

09/08/2026: I'm from Colombia and I had the opportunity to visit Morelli Take Away in Cashel. I absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, the service was very fast and friendly. The atmosphere is simple and pleasant. I also enjoyed being able to try something different and discover new flavors. I highly recommend it, especially for people from other countries who want to try different cuisines.

24/06/2026: ordered a milkshake and chips, chips were rotten disgusting white yokes milkshake was decent, travelled from dublin to visit here after hearing lovely reviews.

20/07/2026: I bought chicken and veg kebabs, they are not tasty as the normal kebabs. I don’t recommend it for others.

12/07/2026: Staff are kind, couldn't get a better tasting kebab anywhere else in the town, best kebab in the town.
