16/05/2026: Ordered for delivery, the delivery driver was rude but the food is very nice best chipper around

01/09/2025: Went to see a Saturday evening session. Music was average but the audience of 60 and 70 somethings nursing their Seven Ups all night seem to be hell bent on spoiling the younger peoples' night out with their glaring and hushing. Its an Irish pub for goodness sake. If you want to listen to music in silence spend a few Euro and go to the Opera. House. The manageress who seemed to support this nonsense seemed to be trying to deliver the impossible for zero financial benefit.

24/05/2026: Room 29 is not suitable for guests. There was a heavy, stuffy smell in the room. Fortunately, the window could be opened to air it out. Unfortunately: the kitchen ventilation exhaust was located right in front of the window. Besides the smell of frying, it made quite a lot of noise. We asked for another room, but were assured that the kitchen would close at 8:00 PM and wouldn't reopen until 8:00 AM the next morning. Well, in practice, that was 9:45 PM and 6:30 AM (!). But even when the ventilation was off, things weren't right: the small terrace where guests or staff could smoke a cigarette or make a phone call was directly under our window. And unfortunately, this was done regularly at night as well. In short: refuse room 29. The hotel management really needs to do something about this; such an unsuitable room detracts from the entire stay. It is a real shame, because the location is good, the people are nice, and the breakfast is good.

12/05/2026: I would gladly give the food stars. My room was still awaiting renovation, but it was clean and we lacked nothing. A charming hotel, just as you'd expect in Ireland. Super friendly staff.

01/07/2026: I ordered a pizza and a hamburger, the woman handed it to me in a bag, but the hamburger was missing. Complete incompetence on her part. Even worse than the attendant's incompetence is receiving feedback from the company telling me to contact them via email, which I did, and I never received a response. They pretend to care, but it's the same incompetence.

02/11/2025: Nice cheap stay with friends. Rooms are very decent size but do need upgrading, however are clean and comfortable. Staff are perhaps a little inexperienced but all very pleasant to deal with. Dining area was spacious and food was very good - great portions for dinner and breakfast was really delicious.

25/11/2025: The menu was very limited and the restaurant area was very cold (I had to keep my coat on all the time). I will definitely not be recommending this place to others - steer clear!

03/04/2026: Came back here for the sake of nostalgia (I came here often as a student). Was pleased to find out that the chilli beef udon stir fry was just as amazing as I remember it to be lol xD Patient and friendly staff who helped my in-laws with their order. Highly recommend.

17/05/2026: Convenient location. Good menu, hot drinks. Outdoor seating available. Good parking. Polite and friendly staff. Relatively fast service. Easy to order and pick up on the Mac Drive-thru.

13/05/2026: Got drive thru. was fast service but chips where half warm half cold and soggy seamed to be reheated.

21/04/2026: Worst meal I've ever had. It was inedible. The burger was frozen, the fries were awful, and my girlfriend ordered a sausage that was even worse than my burger. Luckily, we didn't get sick from eating at that restaurant. The restrooms were filthy. I wouldn't go back for anything.

23/03/2026: Nice food and coffee. Staff are friendly and good at their jobs. If you are at an event there or nearby, it's a good idea to order you lunch in the morning as it can be busy at lunch and they had my lunch ready two days in a row.
