The best restaurants

25/09/2025: Food is delicious. Probably the best Chinese in town and in the whole area. Only problem is they don't take cards, but if you have cash it's the best place you can order food.

02/08/2025: Omg this restaurant don't go ok first service,when i entered the mat is sticky?my feat had stickyness then at the register the girl who is Chinese is almost impossible to understand what she's saying and INCREDIBLY RUDE! she has dead no interest in you at all and when you collect your food she asks what i ordered "I ordered chi-" she's gone comes back with bag,what else you want "salt" gives me 2 pieces of the little salts,and she almost doesn't understand you too I say "I want a fanta,club orange,water please"she goes to fridge right behind her and asks again fanta clu-? And looks at me???And the cherry on top she forgot one of my orders only the food is nice when you first eat it,then a few minutes after you'll feel sick i mean I do not recommend!! I don't know what's with these five star review?

18/07/2025: A cocktail bar like you'd dream of. Nice, quiet ambiance, pleasant music, polite bartenders. The bar is a bit hidden, it was quiet, and it definitely deserves more visitors. Fair prices, good service, and first-class signature cocktails.

06/12/2025: Insomnia Coffee Company have the nicest staff in the Claremorris branch around, so friendly and professional and helpful on choice, great menu, insomnia it is great to have in Claremorris, way better than Costa Coffee!

01/11/2025: I don’t know why this hotel has such a low rating… The rooms were good… The staff were phenomenal. Sure it is a bit dated but that adds to the charm. I only request would be for them to add beans back onto the breakfast menu.

16/08/2025: Good coffee, friendly staff. Cleanliness leaves much room for improvement. Many armchairs were stained and dirty. The toilets are a disaster! Smelly, filthy floor and walls. At least there was toilet paper. Can't recommend!

13/08/2025: Estábamos en la zona de muelles y pasamos por esta cafetería. Entramos, nos sirvieron rápidamente y pudimos sentarnos y usar el wifi gratuito. Buen café, pero los productos de siempre.

15/03/2026: Went to MotoXpro in Punchestown, Naas, Co Kildare today. Ordered a cheese burger (with no bun), chips & a can of coke - €23 : TWENTY THREE EURO!!!! absolute rip-off. The burger was not freshly cooked & was cold. As it was without the bun, the salad (which was plentiful) was placed in the carton & layered with slices of cheese (broken up) on top. On top of that was the cold, non-fresh burger, which was then broken up over the salad? Chips were grand - blanched & refried. To be clear - the staff were friendly & the chips were ok, the burger - not so much. The biggest issue was the price: €23 for a burger, chip & can of coke!!!! 15/03/2026: Pretty disappointing. Generally Eddies is pretty consistent across the different premises but the food here was really poor. Nachos were stale and cold, the tomatoes were under ripe and the onion rings were undercooked. Staff were nice and food was quick but overall experience wasn’t great. Should have gone to Nando’s.

20/10/2025: Ordered food for pickup on their website at 6:30 on a Sunday. Arrived to collect at 6:40. Staff couldn’t find my order initially until I gave the order number off my confirmation email. Said it’d be ‘a few more minutes’. Was finally ready at 6:55. My unusually long wait suggested they started cooking it after I arrived. Food was fine, as usual.

27/09/2025: The food is delicious, I prefer less black pepper, but it depends on personal taste. The atmosphere is pleasant and the waiters are also good.

29/11/2025: Called in here for a couple of drinks. Atmosphere was laid back but still lively. Lots of families were in to get food so the place was busy. Staff were friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be back.

05/11/2025: On a Saturday morning, the audience consisted 100% of grandparents with their children, young families after a shopping spree or a cinema matinée , and grannies, mommies and babies meet-ups. Yet the "cafe bar" blasted soccer games on all large screens. Talk about not giving a 'continental' about your customers... Zero atmosphere.... We ordered the most interesting items on the menu (apart from pizza). Mayonnaise drenched wraps and toasted sandwiches is what we got. No taste, no flavour, nor creativity or chefs flair... It feels like all they care about is to flog pub grub fillers to sports watching punters after their many pints at the bar. Frothy cappuccino, lattes and babycinos were impossible to tell apart. Could have been anything warm and frothy... How can a cafe bar get it so wrong? It almost feels like they are trying extra hard to chase away customers.... Shame to waste a great town centre location. Waste of our money and time too. {Edit: upgrading to two stars because the floor staff were nice enough.}

13/07/2025: Very disappointing meal unfortunately. We had crab claws and cod fritters which didn’t have much flavour, a caprese salad where the mozzarella tasted of fish, and scallops which were ok but nothing amazing. They served us Aldi bake at home ciabatta and garlic bread which again was just ok. For the price we paid the food was mediocre at best.
