25/01/2026: Always a great meal with great service.

21/11/2025: We have been going to the orchid for 40 years and have had some lovely times there,but Friday night 21st November was a disaster we booked table for 7.30 and we still did not even order at 8 o'clock. I must say we asked to move tables when we arrived as we were in a bad corner down the steps which is never used. we booked a week in advance and to be treated like this was deplorable. When I asked about ordering we were ignored and left sitting we were shocked and left straight away. Sad to say we will never go back they seem to be taken over more with the takeaways then the people in the restaurant.

01/01/2026: On New Year’s Eve, we were deliberately ignored for over 10 minutes while staff happily served everyone who arrived after us. We only got any attention once we called them out on it. The service felt blatantly discriminatory — unless you’re Brazilian, don’t expect to be treated properly. The staff’s attitude was arrogant, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Easily one of the worst bar experiences I’ve had. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place altogether.

25/10/2025: Served uncooked food, with no cutlery, napkins or sauces. We had to go up to ask for it to be cooked as no one was walking around to help people out. Drinks were served long after the food was.

19/07/2025: Me and my partner came here on Thursday , the Bouncers wore extremely friendly and nice and the atmosphere was great but unfortunately an extremely rude bar person is the reason why I will never go again, I was waiting at the bar for at least 10 minutes and he eventually turned around to me and said he doesn’t serve my kind, then continued to serve everyone else, will not be returning.

18/07/2025: It's a shame that in a place with such a good vibe and even better entertainment, there are such arrogant bouncers who yell in your face for leaving your bag somewhere you didn't know you weren't allowed to leave it. They even touched my belongings without permission—really awful behavior.

15/02/2026: The restaurant was very cozy, food was really nice, and service amazing. We got to try new dishes and it was a really good experience. Will definitely be returning.

03/01/2026: I would like to concur with a previous review. This is not an authentic Italian Restaurant. This is a restaurant that is run by Indian people who run a restaurant on the ground floor of the same building called The Bombay Pantry. Our experience here from start to finish was terrible. We were brought upstairs to the restaurant in a big open area where there was about 12 other people. The menu was basic and there were two young girls serving. We got wine and had to ask for water. The food arrived, two pasta dishes and was not great and went cold very quickly. Neither of us finish our meal. From the time we were served until we got up and left no one came to our table to see were we ok. Not even to clear our dishes. We had to place the dishes on the table next to us. No one asked us if we wanted dessert. There was a couple beside us and had ordered their main course before we had arrived and as we left over an hour or so later had not received it. From what we could see it was the same for everybody. The ladies toilet had no toilet tissue the gents hadn't a latch on the door. Sadly the two young staff were out of their depth. It was the closest thing to an episode of Fawlty Towers Please avoid at all cost. This is not an Italian Restaurant. And nothing positive to say about it. It doesn't even deserve one star.

30/12/2025: Just ordered a delivery. Fast friendly delivery and hot.Food was good, curry sauce was very nice. Though got noodles instead of rice in my Singapore dish. For this reason only 3 out of 5.

11/11/2025: This place has gone to the dogs since it changed ownership. If you are looking for Chinese near Cabra go to Thaido or Pearl River instead.

20/03/2026: Ordered a king kebab it was just donner meat . Worst kebab house I’ve ever been too

31/01/2026: I’ve rated other places but you can’t beat this for taste, value and service. Massive portion you couldn’t even finish if you were pissed and comes with a whole meal for a tenner, highly recommend

15/02/2026: Have been going to this restaurant for years...Last night obviously Valentine's we booked a table I asked for the same we always book because my wife has mobility issues. We got there at 5.10 there was an issue over the table but was resolved after a few mins..We were told they needed the table.back by 7.30 which was fine..Seated at 5.20 and both starters & mains by 6pm even though we asked for a break. We were not asked if we wanted a dessert juts tea or coffee. And when we said no mints were brought over on a plate which you usually get when you get the bill. We felt we were been rushed and didnt enjoy it. We would be reluctant to back when there ion an occasion because you dont get the same treatment.

31/12/2025: Very disappointed with our experience. We were told the waiting time would be 45 minutes, but ended up waiting over 2 hours for our order. When the food finally arrived, the order was completely mixed up. We ordered two prawn curries, but instead received three duck dishes and only one prawn dish. This was especially frustrating as two people in our group don’t eat meat at all, so they had to share one dish. The order was over €70, yet there were no prawn crackers, no apology items, and nothing complimentary added. Given the long delay and mistakes, this was very disappointing. Overall, poor service and lack of care. We won’t be ordering again.

19/08/2025: Loved this store. It had nice garden furniture and outdoor items at a great price. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend shopping here

09/11/2025: I wanted to give it 0 stars, but you can’t give 0 stars, so I’m rating it a 1. My friend and I were looking forward to going to this cafe after seeing on TikTok, we had even waited for them to open. It was a very uncomfortable experience from the start. The waitress told us to wait outside until she allowed us in, and when she did - the lights were still switched off. Even being the first ones there she very rudely told us to sit down at the first table. We had planned to study at the cafe as we heard people had done that before, but she told us that she can’t hold the table for us to study and this was the only table we could sit at. She was behaving very hostile and rude towards us and it was such an uncomfortable experience, we left immediately. The service was extremely horrible, do better next time! We can’t believe that we were treated like this, we had such high expectations, we never thought we’d be treated so poorly by the waitress especially at a cafe in Dublin.

07/11/2025: Totally unpleasant experience. Greeted by rude unsmiling unfriendly staff members. I have just taken out a family membership, love the museum but am shocked by the rude sullen indifference of the staff in the café. We complained at the museum reception front desk, and were promptly told it was nothing to do with them as it's run by a separate entity. Shocking.

16/12/2025: I had a Christmas deal containing a hot honey pepperoni pizza with double sauce, hot honey garlic bread, and kebab loaded fries. The price of the deal was totally worth all the food, and the delivery driver was so sweet and kind! They added plenty of sauce, and the pizza itself, with the rest of the food, was amazing.

06/09/2025: Ricky’s is the place to BE!! If you’re after the freshest, juiciest and value for money fast food. You’ll have to come to Ricky’s. Their food is FIRE🔥. The Texan Smokey Bacon burger and chips is my go to!! BEST BURGER in Limpopo hands down! Keep up the AMAZING work Ricky’s!

24/07/2025: Once I was getting amagwina and thy took a long time but at least they were still hot when i got home.
