07/12/2025: Castlebridge Dusty Boy - the area is freezing cold, staff unfriendly no meet/greet/had to ask if there was a special/soup. Food is very nice but takes quite a while to get to the table. A smile and a bit of friendly banter would go a long way - show some customer appreciation.

09/10/2025: This is a very quaint and vibey lil café, the matcha is of the best I've ever had and the bap is delicious with every single to last bite (even though I don't usually eat eggs), and the servers, Ruth and Siobhan were very attentive with their service. I've heard a good few people praising this place and from experiencing it myself, I now see why! The playlist is quite vibey too 😎

23/11/2025: So disappointed, so dirty and smelly. Tables were disgusting, loads of rubbish on the floor. Toilets were not cleaned for weeks, no toilet paper no hand soap.... Avoid this place !

23/11/2025: Hello, the tables are dirty, while the waitresses are literally at the counter chatting away; you can only hear them. The Strawberry Acai Refresha is too sweet, the white mocha has no taste, it's just a simple latte. This was the last place we stopped before leaving Dublin because all the cafes were packed. A disappointment, but it won't overshadow our otherwise wonderful trip. Not surprising coming from a chain. The service was more than inadequate; they didn't ask if I wanted a receipt, and there was no real politeness. It deserves the rating given in short.

14/01/2026: Great NYE night out, excellent staff! Came here for New Year's Eve 2025 with my girlfriend and her friends. Good spot for a big night out. The bar staff were surprisingly attentive and friendly, which is rare these days, especially on such a busy night. Big shoutout to the bouncers too. Fair prices for drinks, nice venue with a good setup. The only downside is that it was VERY overcrowded inside. There was a massive line all the way down the road to get in, so you need to get there early on big nights. Overall, a solid night despite the squeeze.

30/10/2025: I was here for the first time yesterday while cycling through the town & was really impressed with the food & service. A very nice Cesar salad with great coffee. It was also nice to see how friendly the staff were with all the customers.

14/10/2025: Went in for to get breakfast Saturday and there was no organisation in the place There was so many couples inside waiting including ourselves.. A couple of young girls were behind the counter and no one taking charge. It was ridiculous so we left to go somewhere else and got great breakfast and service Very disappointed Won't be there again

25/09/2025: Super little cafe, thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Wonderful large full Irish breakfast for very reasonable money. I'll be back.

03/11/2025: Went with my partner on Saturday (1/11) for some warm beverages. She bought the Matcha with a pump of vanilla and I went with the Mocha. Both drinks were terrible. The matcha was weak, and we could tell they used a poor quality matcha to make the drink. My mocha tasted burnt, and it was overall just horrible. We went back and asked for them to redo the drinks, which they did, and they were still undrinkable. Such a disappointment because we paid almost 12e for both, and that's not cheap! You need to hire better baristas that know how to make good coffee.

29/10/2025: Long-time local customer. The new layout looks lovely....but the service is now utterly chaotic (partly due to kiosk screen ordering). And the coffee has become soooo watery. Beware that you need to ask in person for your chocolate if ordering at the kiosk screen. The poor staff are now harangued altogether

02/01/2026: I got a spice bag It tastes bad the chicken was gross and I got chicken wings that was the best bit of the spice bag and they where nice and the place smells like chicken

23/03/2026: Rude staff, opening hours are strange, food was mushy and there was no good kids menu. The staff laughed at my autistic daughter too. Very disappointing and disgusted with experience

23/02/2026: My mother was there yesterday and felt the manager eyeballing her with a hurry up and get out look as she ordered a large cappuccinos. She’s a pensioner and felt very uncomfortable by the experience. Do better and treat the elderly better.

22/10/2025: Went up to a lady just to ask for directions and the disrespect she gave me actually had me jaw dropped i was shocked I was being spoken to so rudely, no manners and had such a smart mouth she obviously didnt wanna speak with me and had no interest rolling her eyes

10/08/2025: We have ordered a paw patrol cake for our sons 2nd birthday online and it was amazing. It looked exactly like the reference picture and it tasted really nice. Since they closed the office in Tullamore we had to pick up the cake from their shop in Athlone. We got the smallest square cake and it was still huge and quite heavy. It was a chocolate sponge and chocolate cream cake. It wasnt too sweet or tasteless. I wish there is an option to add forest fruits, sour cherries or other fruits. It would elevate the cake so much. Will definitely going to order a cake there again.

31/07/2025: Most expensive Take Away Cappuccino in town. Also a bit diluted. €4 . However Flat White is the cheapest one here: €2.90 .
