24/11/2025: Good quick drinks and baked good while enjoying the cliffs

30/09/2025: When you visit the Cliffs of Moher, give the Puffins Nest Cafe a try if you need a snack or quick meal. We wanted lunch, and I was SO happy they had a pre-made cheese sandwich available. I usually have to order a meat sandwich, and remove the meat. This was a fully dressed sandwich (lettuce, tomato), so this was a pleasant surprise. Since this cafe is at one of the most popular tourist destinations, I didn't expect much at all, but our lunch was good and not overpriced. It was a bit crowded in the dining area, but there is seating. The staff was nice and made pleasant conversation during each transaction.

17/10/2025: I was informed that Sunday - 12th Oct 2025 was the final service in Mario’s Ranelagh Great place, busy with locals! Nice food, House white wine was fab.

03/10/2025: Very disappointing. We were met by a sullen unfriendly staff member with very limited English and zero customer service skills. Throughout the evening we were served by four different staff members, no continuity of service and yet it took us the best part of 15 minutes to catch someone's attention to get the bill. At no stage were we asked if everything was ok or if we were enjoying our meal. Nobody said goodbye as we left, they were too busy sweeping and mopping the floor (at 9pm!). Food was ok. We thought our pasta portions were quite small, overpriced and I could make better myself. Overall impression was impersonal, take it or leave it service. As long-term residents of Ranelagh, very sad to see Mario's has gone downhill big time.

02/10/2025: If you see this after googling Pizza in midleton there is definitely takeaways of better quality and value within the area. The pizzas are average at best, comparable to 4 star or dominos. Grand after a few pints kind of pizza

26/04/2025: Absolute cat, fish is pre cooked then recooked and tastes like leather, chips are bad also.

14/09/2025: This was shaping up to be a great spot, but for some reason they got rid of the manager. It has been downhill since, he was the life blood of the place, great energy! Pity it's a nice spot, it was worth stopping in Monuntrath for, but not anymore.

10/12/2025: Starbucks is Starbucks, but the staff here are so lovely, really genuine and friendly, that it would actively incline me towards going there. It’s rare to get service as good as you get here.

18/10/2025: Highly recommended! We tried the doner and chicken kebabs, both were delicious and met our expectations. The place has a nice ambience and friendly staff too.

28/09/2025: Chicken was nice and juicy , the flat bread was good. The lamb kebab was just a tad bit dry but still good flavour.
