15/01/2025: Our first port of call when visiting. Friendly welcome from Barry and the log fire burning.

05/01/2025: Nice traditional style bar , wasnt that busy just stopped for a couple , CASH only - theres an ATM in the bar.

13/01/2025: Great find walking back towards town after eating at marina markets. Felt very much like a locals place but was still very welcoming. The barman was friendly and even provided free pizza for everyone in the bar! What a gentleman!

11/01/2025: Great little Irish bar. Cosy, friendly, and offered a slice of pizza! What more could you want! Would recommend this as a stop!

02/01/2025: Horrible, got tickets for new years and spent 33€ per person for Eastern European night. Arrived at around 23.35 and was in a queue behind 7 people everyone hoping to get in before the countdown. They had us wait at the side door where they would open in, let their friends in then slam the door on us. We would go to the front and some rude bouncer or manager with somewhat grey hair swooped to the side was just yelling at everyone and said not to let anyone in. Waited until 00.30, had to countdown on some stairs waiting for the door to open, ruined new years. Everyone who was waiting also had tickets but it was just chaotic. Only letting people in for the amount that were leaving. When we entered to the rooftop it was basically only 4 people and then when we went downstairs the space was did not have enough people to justify the wait. The music was okay but the crowd was squished because they took a large space of the floor for some ring light. Waste of money, time and ruined new years. And was not Eastern European music at all.

12/12/2024: Its a welcome sight when the londis around the corner is still pricing the customer waay to high. Its a super value so expect higher prices but still the cheapest and most stocked store in the area

19/07/2024: Today i was going dingle with my family. Kids hungry. We ordered 2 large pizza. chiken wings. Fri chiken. 1 chicken burger. All things is very tasty. The man is very kind and helpful. His name is ali. Must try

07/01/2025: We stayed in the hotel and had dinner here. Food was good but there are some points to improve. After sitting us the hostess mentioned that for dinner there was a five course meal menu served, but when opening the menu we discovered that there was a 2 course meal option as well that was never mentioned. This was a more suitable option since we were stuffed from earlier lunch in Sally Gap. Also after checking the menu we realised that there were no vegetarian options. We had to request the vegetarian menu to the waiter that there were never mentioned before. Moreover, menu options could be broader. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient but there was a slight delay in our mains and nobody approached us. It was an ok experience but it didn’t meet our expectations for a five star’s restaurant hotel.

28/12/2024: The mushrooms were my salvation, excellent service Last time and this time I went with my dog, this time I ordered the garlic mushrooms and some sausages (plain sausage), I was able to give the sausages to my dog ​​and I ate the mushrooms.

16/01/2025: The male employee working on the 16/01/25 with glasses was perfect. 😏😏 Made my coffee super quick and I couldn’t understand him because he speaks so quietly but he made a joke and we laughed. 10/10 service. Would come again, just for him ;))
