08/10/2025: Offered a 2nd tea bag for large tea then charged me another €1

15/09/2025: Food and coffee were scrumptious, tables were clean, sheltered from rain and warm, music a bit loud and not my choice, everything else perfect for a Sunday brunch.

13/05/2026: Menu was not available and it had limited food options.

24/04/2026: Must have changed owners , food was awful , service was awful , chief was eating food as he was preparing ,no hygiene AVOID

06/04/2026: Dropped in to watch Ireland Women Football game. Liverpool were playing the same night, and the Bar Manager was able to split the TV Screens, so everyone was happy. Felt like I was in someone's Living room, with a couple of lively locals at the Bar. They seemed like good Craic, and there's a good atmosphere in the Cosy Bar. They do Food on the Weekend.

18/04/2026: We got it delivered as we were staying in an air bnb, driver friendly and food absolutely delicious, very old school authentic chipper

15/02/2026: Food was great chips hot and freshly cooked,snack box was tasty and not greasy like others,this was first time visiting,will visit again.

22/11/2025: Amazing pizza, chips and mozzarella balls. Worth the price. Highly recommend this place for veg pizza and sides, we ordered from uber eats and the food was 10/10. Everything tasted really good and the best part is the pizza tasted delicious the next morning 🤤

01/08/2025: Lovely staff last week. Two very friendly blond people male and female on reception Cleaning needed though.

20/07/2025: The documentary on Mairéad Farrell was both sad and poignant. She was a pretty and intelligent girl who ventured down the wrong path, since violence will never resolve any issue. Mairéad should have been united with the late John Hume's ideology, dedicated to peace. If not, she should have moved from Belfast to Dublin. This is an old conflict that I hope will be resolved.

30/01/2026: Absolutely disgusting, I ordered spice bag, there was hard dry drumsticks in it, no proper chicken and nothing else only spice powder, never again , people run away from this take away

05/06/2026: It's improving. This was a great McDonalds prior to COVID, but then standards dropped (the franchise manager made fewer visits as he expanded his line of restaurants). Tables were still dirty from the previous customers, on arrival, which is a big no for me. The staff seemed oblivious to this and spent more time wiping trays looking to appear busy. The bins are not emptied as much are often overflowing and thus the control of where the plastics, etc go are never monitored as it's just a mess! In my recent visits this has improved and hopefully this will continue. It's still overall good value and we still go back there. I guess we were spoiled pre-COVID (with Jean on the floor who was amazing). They also did excellent deals which no longer are available, but given the rising costs of everything they have remained reasonably consistent and good value overall.

20/05/2026: Always busy and drive through moves fast not a very long wait ,this previous message was a year ago but today very disappointed ordered a MCcrispy should have had cheese and bacon 🥓 on it but nothing 🤔

17/05/2026: Have been going here for years but unfortunately today will be my last. Food and coffee was good as always. But staff chatting openly on the floor about customers as soon as they leave is disgusting. No customers means no job, staff would do well to remember that.

13/10/2025: Definitely best pizza I've ever had. I got the skinny based Mexican pizza, it was delicious. This place is spotless and the staff are really friendly. Great prices and great service. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed
