14/09/2024: The food is good depending on what you want. The floor staff are excellent, the owner is indifferent. The restaurant is COLD.

10/01/2025: Joes es siempre un restaurante increíble que parece ser dirigido por la familia. Estábamos allí para mi cumpleaños de las hijas y todos realmente lo disfrutamos. El personal no podría haber sido más servicial. Joes es uno de mis restaurantes chinos favoritos

13/01/2025: Just got left after waiting over an hour and a half for a delivery and it never came, said it was delivered and they will Not answer the phone!? Now they are closed ! Absolutely starved and usually go to Giovanni's bit I've never been so disgusted and close to 50 euro spent on it!? Not one attempt to deliver or call my phone. And nothing to do about it. Will be a long time before I can part with my money for them again.

19/08/2024: I can't comment on the food because we only had a few pints. Very rich, yes. The interior is surprising for being built on the remains of a Gothic church. Awesome!!

26/01/2025: I must inform all past, present and future customers of this establishment. I was in the restaurant this morning, and to say I was shocked is an understatement. A gentleman with his family, including a very young baby, asked a member of staff behind the counter if he could fill a flask with hit water to make baby formula. The employee insisted that the restaurant was very busy and refused to assist with his request. The gentleman, understandably shocked, got into an argument with this employee who still insisted the restaurant was too busy to help. The employee identified himself as the manager. I have been to many a restaurant in the Galway area, and never have I witnessed such behaviour to a paying customer. Shame on the manager of this establishment, every other employee in the restaurant were polite and professional. I will never visit this place again.

30/11/2024: Really good coffee and sausage rolls, cute little local spot beside the sea

30/10/2024: Lovely coffee bar. Nice out outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Decent coffee and good prices. Food looked good too but we didn't try yet. Only issue is no toilet. Or indoor seating.

01/02/2025: Eat a hamburger here, wonderful. I will return without a doubt!

03/02/2025: Atmospherical place I get the 90s vibes for some reason the ligthning is great, but I got charged for sauce 5€ which is pity The chicken was a bit salty I recommend this place!

26/01/2025: Booked dinner for Valentine’s Day over a month in advance. Everything was fine, until two weeks later we get a phone call asking us for a €30 deposit and also telling us they’re moving our booking to a later time of 9 o’clock. They rang when I was in work so I said I’d get back to them. Only to get an email saying they have then cancelled our booking. Other restaurants are also booked out so now we are left with nothing. A deposit was never mentioned at the time of booked and I thought it was very poor customer service to decide TWO WEEKS later that they wanted one while also changing our booking? Looking for money while inconveniencing us. Wasn’t good taste.

23/11/2024: So we came from London and we stayed 7 nights it was very bad at night there was people shouting at night, drifting and bottles smashing.. if you want to have a nice stay don't come here..

17/11/2024: Stayed for 1 night. Angel was an absolute diamond. Food was lovely we couldn't fault it. Would stay again.

06/10/2024: Chips and burgers are great but the curry isn't nice at all it's too runny
