28/02/2026: Ordered a take away from here a few weeks ago. Took over an hour and a half to come and was cold when it came. Spice bag had hardly a drop of chicken. I used to order here regularly but i recon im done now

21/02/2026: No chopsticks or cutlery, either the side dish was wrong or I had to look more closely to find the eggs in the rice. Fair point is that they are open late

13/03/2026: Shaws and his team are the best I am from carlow been there many times but now moved to another county still craving for their Kebab its unbeatable with pricing quality and quantinty overall they make kebab with love. That can feel in taste. Thanks metrogrill you are amazing.

28/10/2025: I was really looking forward to treating myself to a nice sit-down meal at Lann after about a year away. As a former weekly regular, I always raved about their exquisite food – bursting with authentic flavors and always incredibly tasty. But my visit on October 28th evening sround 6:15 PM left me terribly disappointed and queasy. I ordered the BBQ pork ribs as a starter, followed by the duck with steamed rice as my main, plus a Coke. The new waitress kindly agreed to bring everything out together. After about 10 minutes, the ribs arrived first. The initial bites were decent, but by the third rib, I discovered one side was fridge-cold while the other was barely warm – clearly undercooked or poorly reheated. The duck arrived midway through, and I flagged the issue right away. The waitress was apologetic, consulted the chef, and comped the ribs, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, the main course was even worse. The duck was rubbery and lukewarm, with no trace of the crispy skin or sizzling presentation it used to have ( microwaved?) The rice was tepid, clumped, and felt like it had been microwaved rather than freshly steamed – zero steam or vibrancy. I barely touched it and left most of the meal behind. When it came time to pay (around £20, though it felt overpriced for the quality), the waitress asked for feedback. I was honest: the overall standard has plummeted. It seems like they might have a new chef, as nothing matched the high-quality dishes I remembered. The service was friendly, but the food was a far cry from the gem this place used to be. I felt unwell afterward and won't be returning. it's heartbreaking to see such a drop-off.

24/10/2025: Drove to collect and they don't do card cash only which is illegal now had to get delivered and then it arrived cold .. very bland would not recommend

06/02/2026: Not a fan of the donar kebabs I've noticed the staff going over to aldi to buy onions not using their own produce and cheap supermarket products and selling it a higher prices. Won't be back prices are too high now

30/01/2026: Fresh fast food restaurant, with sit in or take away.

15/03/2026: One of my favourite spots in Monkstown to grab a coffee, quick meals or just have a wander through. Really lucky to have it nearby as they stock good quality ingredients for baking like Callebaut chocolate.

26/02/2026: Attentive staff that make you and your family feel special. Bill comes without a long wait. Crayons given to children, good seafood, good selection of wines too.

15/12/2025: Had a lovely meal there on 2nd December for birthday girls n food was amazing 👏 chef came out to chat too which was much appreciated and staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant 👌

27/06/2025: We go here during the daytime with kids from the local special school to have lunch and involve the kids out in the community, for the last year they have been nothing but amazing and accommodating to us and the kids (plus the food is always delish) thank you so much for all ye do!!!
