The best restaurants

07/09/2024: Won't be visiting again, went in 3 or 4 times & every time there is something missing from order & I'm having to get up to pay again, ordered something separate for take away they tried to charge again, food is basic.

26/09/2024: Had lunch here today the 26/09/23 it was absolutely lovely we both had the Beef onion and mushrooms Panini with chips it really was a lush lunch . They are also pet friendly which was a massive plus for us as our boxer Olive goes everywhere with us , they even brought water out for her thank you so much for making us all feel welcomed.

15/12/2024: Great service, perfect food. I had special requests about spices and content due to the allergy. Fulfilled exactly according my specifications. Good point: first Chinese restaurant where fried noodles doesn't contain plenty onions or other cheap fillings. Bad point: they don't have chopsticks!!! 🤦🏻 How chinese restaurant can't have chopsticks???

23/11/2024: Went with friends for coffee a couple of wks ago and meant to write a quick review here just to say it was very enjoyable with great service from the very competent Mairead. She’s friendly and great at her job. Went for a bite to eat this evening with two friends and the experience was very good again. The hotel was warm, with beautiful Christmas decorations up and the food was lovely and not over priced. All the staff were lovely.

17/11/2024: Give 4 pieces of garlic bread! I know this is such a small thing, but why do restaurants only give three pieces of garlic bread?? The majority of diners come in groups of 2 or 4, so it should be standard to give four pieces. Anyways, rant over. The restaurant / bar is obviously in a beautiful setting, it has a great vibe and very attentive staff, some would say too attentive. Multiple times, as my wife and I were mid chicken wing licking, we were asked by a waiter “everything okay?”, however we just laughed it off. The food was good, a bit overpriced, but you understand why when you look at the venue and the service. I would recommend the hot sauce wings and the Per-Peri Chicken Burger.

08/02/2025: Really disappointed tonite got a 10" spice box and it was poisoned with salt not edible and when I rang to tell them her reply was " i cannot do anything for you" unacceptable response after paying €23 euro for food that isint edible the poor kids love coming here for years but have no loyalty to their customers. Shame on them

20/01/2025: This has to be the most overrated Chinese in the Country. Overrated and overpriced (increased prices which conveniently haven't been updated online yet.) On three out of the last four occasions we have ordered a delivery from here, at least one item has always been missing. Not only that but the quality of the food is inconsistent at best, and for the most part quite bland and tasteless compared to other Oriental cuisine I have sampled. I will not be retaining my custom with this establishment.

27/01/2025: Wow - superb food - no draught beer unfortunately but food was devine.

21/01/2025: For the price point the food is really poor. The dishes are unbalanced. Too bitter, too salty or too sharp, and not by a little bit either. The waiter was sassy as well. To end it all a 12.5% service charge, I was thinking more along the lines of 0%.

29/01/2025: Service very poor. Was left waiting for over 5 minutes today with only 2 customers including me and 3 staff present Food great but takes too long to get looked after which is a regular occurrence.

27/01/2025: Absolutely lovely cafe, the staff are outstanding especially a young woman by the name of Sinead. She served me an oat late with a stunning heart foam top just for me. Absolutely made my day.

11/12/2024: Tuve otra experiencia increíble a los doce. Tanto la comida como el servicio era exquisito. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar especialmente para las familias. Nuestro servidor Louise era tan entusiasta y encantador para nosotros y los niños. Sin duda volveré.

30/11/2024: Cenamos esta noche en el restaurante. Absolutamente vergonzoso servicio, pedido de comida perdido y el camarero era muy antipático y no parecía saber lo que estaba haciendo. Esperamos más de 50 minutos para nuestra comida que aprendimos que ni siquiera se puso en el sistema, citan “perdimos nuestro pedido y nunca se colocó” en el sistema de cocina. El gerente ofreció un vale, pero se negó a decirnos un tiempo que un nuevo pedido de comida tomaría para ser hecho. El Gerente debería haber ofrecido un reembolso completo por todas las bebidas que pedimos en su lugar y un tiempo que el nuevo pedido tomaría en hacerse después de esperar 50 minutos para el pedido original! , un servicio terrible, personal altamente sin formación, evitaría a toda costa!

20/10/2024: Had lunch on Saturday. Toasted special it was lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful

28/12/2024: They have gluten free bread so you have more options if you are celiac.

30/11/2024: Nice café in central Cork. My wife and I came on a busy Saturday but got a table within five minutes. Space is limited and tables are quite cramped but the menu is extensive and everything we had was good quality. We will be back to try more of the options.
