03/08/2025: We were not allowed to enter because one of my friends was wearing sportswear, we all have normal jobs and were intending to have a pint. DISCRIMINATION based on appearance. Shame and disrespect together with rudeness from the manager. At the same time security manager was smoking vape while talking to us (apparently it was ok according to their policies). The lowest hospitality standard I saw in Dublin.

21/01/2026: I had the breakfast . Decent helping size and very well priced . Staff were very friendly and the whole place just gave off a nice homely vibe . Don't pass here if you want some nice food 😉 😋

14/01/2026: Usually get the salt and chilli chips but just found out they have more options that can be made vegan. The staff are always lovely and helpful and the wait is never too long. Love a naughty treat from here on occasion

09/11/2025: The best cafe in Dun Laoghaire and the fact that it is always busy is testament to this. Very good coffee and a wide selection of breakfast/brunch/lunch dishes to suit all diets.

26/10/2025: Great bar and fantastic food. Lovely staff and great homecooked meals. A real Irish bar. Staff where very friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere and will be back again.

21/10/2025: Was here saturday myself and daughter ordered the soup unfortunetly it tasted like pureed potato and parsnip no flavour or seasoning very dissapointed but the sandwiches and service were very good

13/06/2026: Stopped here with buddy’s for a quick bite after playing golf at Druid’s Glen. Wasn’t sure what to expect as it was quite quiet when we arrived. Ordered the chicken burger; this was a contender for the best burger I’ve ever had!! Please never change this, I hope to order it again next time I’m down from Belfast. My friends were very happy with their food and the place was clean and prices fair. Highly recommend. Niall 😀

13/06/2026: I have been to this restaurant several times, the quantity of food is good but I was not satisfied with the service because twice in a row they made us sit at a small table next to the kitchen door which slammed like hell and so twice we asked to move to another table.

17/02/2026: I have a usual order that I have been ordering for the last 12 years. Everyone in Mezza Portlaoise knows my order. I went in one night and ordered my usual. I got home and discovered what I got was not my usual. I went back a couple of days later and the guy who appears to be in charge said he was surprised when my food was being handed out to me wasn't my usual order despite acknowledging that I had clearly ordered my usual order. I hadn't planned on asking for my next order to be free but when this guy acknowledged that what I got was not what I ordered I expected that 12 years as a customer might mean something and I asked if the order i had just submitted would be free gratis. Nope, wasn't going to happen and I made it very clear I will not set foot in this establishment again. Good customer service is not hard folks but apparently it is.

21/09/2025: I ordered a pizza deal that came with chicken tenders I received this order at 11.35 den got a phone call back 30 minutes after I received this meal to ask me if the food was OK I did not think nothing off this at the time but den I woke up dismorning with every symptom of food poisoning I call them today to ask why they called me to see if my food was OK to get told they did not ring asking about my food that they rang to see if the driver got der very strange it's safe to say I will never eat from this company again 🤮🤮🤮

20/08/2025: While staying in Dublin, I ordered from the "best pizza on the planet." A pizzeria next to my Airbnb, I was delighted with my meal. The pizzas are generous and quite large. The staff is very friendly at the reception. I highly recommend it.

23/10/2025: Got a sandwich today for lunch When I asked the girl behind the counter, what was in it? She told me she didn’t know. I decided to get it anyway and it tasted awful. Come on guys you really need to up your game.

13/10/2025: Stumbled in for a cinnamon bun, easily the best in the city! Very refined baking! Can't wait to try the rest
