02/01/2025: Always well stocked and best value solid fuels in the area.

20/08/2024: Good deli counter in the garage with nice selection of hot and cold food. Portion sizes are good on the lunch menu, never walked away hungry. Ladies serving are very pleasant and helpful. Seating area upstairs always seems dirty, anytime I’m there I’ve had to clean the tables before sitting. Busy spot at lunchtime but lots of parking out the back. There’s toilets upstairs and separate shower facility also.

29/11/2024: Nice hot chocolate for Christmas and lovely staff members wo go well and beyond to ensure you enjoy your time there. Would highly recommend to anyone.

27/07/2024: Amazing coffee ❤️, but the best thing about this place is the homemade desserts. I would go there every day if I was living in Kilkenny. The service it was great too. I would recommend 👌 😌

12/01/2025: This pub is an absolute dump- DO NOT GO HERE - our group of 7 waited nearly an hour for basic carvery dinner - had to ask three times when would we be served - food eventually arrived freezing cold - one of our group had to wait a further 5 minutes for their food - all the dinners were swimming in water and cold - staff and manager were rude and arrogant - we left and did not pay - would not recommend at all - take ur business to The Poitin much better.

31/10/2024: The food was terrrrriblee. We ordered fish and chips and dinner box, the fish was the worst. It’s taste like I was eating a piece of metal. It smelled the same. Very weird and gross, and the chicken was so dry inside and so grassy outside and bland. The guy was at the till especially and the other staff were very gentle and kind but the food was absolutely terrible. My 25€ is in trash now… Not recommended..

12/01/2025: Ever since this pub opened, it has always been one of my favourite places to visit and while away an afternoon in peace. I love the simplicity of the place, chilled atmosphere (daytime anyway) good music choice. I just adore the decor that has aged so well. The pint’s not half bad either. I’m quite proud of the photo I took! This pub, for some reason always gets me reminiscing of not only the times I’ve been here in the past, but life in Dublin when I lived here. I’m sure the youngsters socialising must look and wonder who the old fart is, much as I probably did when I were their age.

26/11/2024: Ordered some of their beer online from their website (as a present) to an address in wicklow. They only deliver to wicklow. Took 14 days to arrive even though it will be delivered by courier.

03/11/2024: Spent the day touring spectacular Wicklow taking in the Autumnal sights. Wanted a pub meal and found great reviews for Mickey Finns so called in. Lovely ambience in the pub and comfortable tables with plenty of space. Staff were very attentive and efficient too but never hurried us at all. A good sized menu with a choice to meet anyone’s needs. 2 starters served being soup of the day and spicy chicken wings. The soup was delicious and served with 2 tiny loaves of gorgeous bread. The chicken wings were stunning. Spicy sauce and tasty blue cheese dressing and so much meat on the pieces too, best chicken wings I’ve ever had. Next was mains, perfectly prepared mussels and skinny fries and so many mussels but all devoured, second main was my steak and chunky chips, wow steak served rare on a bed of spot on mushrooms and amazing chips crunchy outside and fluffy inside. A brilliant meal but, for the first time I can remember we were actually too full for desserts…. We will be back with our family as it was so good and great value too

03/12/2024: I ordered a double taco, the double only had bread, one spoon of meat and 5 euros is very expensive, I wasn't full and it wasn't tasty! You can eat better in another place for 5 euros
