The best restaurants

28/02/2026: Good food, tasty, the portions are quite large; if you're not very hungry, one portion could easily share between two people. Recommended when you want something quick. The seating area inside is very small.

22/02/2026: Don’t go here… Got the noodles with spring roll… The noodles were cold andlooked like they were made of plastic! The spring rolls were 95% flour and 5% filling.

13/01/2026: I got whopper meal. And the burger fillings was so poor I went back to change, it was one tomato, one pickle, no ketchup 3x3cm onion pieces. I say to manager/supervisor no name tag, on picture like this and you give me this. So I've been told it's only for marketing the one in the picture 😆 To be fair they did better one the second time, but I wouldn't go there again. You advertising quality, then give quality and keep customers happy! The worse answer ever too. Employee should learn how to answer customers.

04/12/2025: My experience at this café was really disappointing. I went through a very upsetting, unprofessional and unfair way, and the manager’s behavior was completely unacceptable! Instead of listening or trying to understand what happened, she raised her voice and treated us in a way that was both embarrassing and disrespectful in front of everyone. I’ve visited this place many times before, and some of the staff even recognize me, so I truly didn’t expect this kind of treatment. Seeing how the situation was handled today was honestly ruined the visit I won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend visiting this place at all!

04/12/2025: Today we had a very upsetting experience at the café. My friend walked in while holding a drink from another coffee shop, and we honestly didn’t know it was against their policy. The moment the manager told us, we apologized and tried to explain that it was just a misunderstanding. My friend was ready to leave, and we were about to order from the café. However, the manager refused to listen and kept yelling at us, insisting that we leave the café. While we were trying to calmly discuss the situation, she didn’t want to understand or even hear our side. It felt like there was a form of discrimination towards me and my friends, which made the situation even worse. We asked to speak to the manager, and unfortunately, she turned out to be the same person who was shouting at us. She continued raising her voice in front of everyone, making the whole situation very embarrassing and uncomfortable. People in the café were staring, and it became a very humiliating moment for us. We would have appreciated a more professional and respectful approach, especially after we apologized and tried to correct the mistake immediately.

21/02/2026: The Delivery service and customer service is a joke, Rang for a delivery at 5.45 and told delivery would be 50 mins, no problem, 2 Hours later 7.45 rang to be told its 5 mins away, rang back at 8.20 to cancel it and got a dog on the Phone who has no customer service skills or manners, never would i recommend this place or darken the door again, (Edit) then get a phonecall at 8.43 for the Eircode to deliver the food 😂

08/01/2026: We had a great experience last night at Cara's with my parents, wife and kids. Most of us had pizzas, they were absolutely delicious. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Special mention to our server Ashling for how well she looked after us, she's a star.

29/11/2025: Food is always lovely in Caras but I'm giving a low rating from our last experience there our waiter was really nice and attentive we asked the waiter could we have our childs food chopped up as he has a disability and the knifes weren't good enough on the table to do this he asked the chef and the chef proceeded to give out to him and handed him a rough steak knife for us to do it ourselves I could hear him say this it was no better than the one we had on the table already by the time we had it someway chopped up it was gone cold and our son didn't want to eat it our food was gone Cold too you could see into the kitchen and I could see the chef mouthing off aswell.. Im a chef myself and I didn't think it was a big ask it would have taken them 2 minutes to do in the kitchen very disappointed and also the way the chef spoke to the waiter I told him it wasn't his fault and I could see exactly what the chef said to him this is our fourth time been to centre parcs and eating at Caras it was always our favourite but after this we won't eat there again it wasn't even busy when we asked as we had an early booking so disappointed

14/12/2025: We had to wait for ages for someone to take our oder. The soup was lovely, but we got our dinner the same time as our soup, so they had to take that back to keep it warm. This is the Roots in Oranmore. The Roots in Loughrea is lovely

27/09/2025: We had a lovely goat cheese salad, two big pieces of goat cheese, chicken and bacon sandwich and vegetable soup. All delicious 😋 cappuccino and cola for drink.

10/03/2026: Good spot if you’re craving Chinese food. The menu has plenty of options and the food is tasty with generous portions. Service is quick and overall it’s a convenient place for a casual meal.

01/08/2025: I had heard that this place was excellent. It’s far from that. We ordered chips and kebabs. The amount of sauce on the kebabs was ridiculous. It was pouring out. The pitta breads were saturated and fell apart. I can only imagine that it was in order to cover up the dryness of the doner meat. The chips were obviously reheats and tasted old. Never again. We threw most of it away and what we did eat made us feel sick.

10/01/2026: The owner is a gentleman, knows everyone and all chat when you're in Plenty of options for different kebabs that are full of flavour Some of the sauces can be a bit watery Plenty of meat to fill you up, chips fresh and clean Average prices Highly recommend for a kebab and likely a chat with Henry or the staff as they're nice as well

26/01/2026: Got a Doner kebab, curry chips and onion bhajis. Unfortunately this was a poor experience. First off the curry chips. The chips were nice. Curry watered down and tasteless. Also the portion was pathetic. Half filled the box. Bit of a joke really, I don’t know how they could honestly hand it out with a straight face. I could see the bottom on one side of the container when I opened it. The onion bhajis did not taste good and didn’t have enough onion. The kebab was the worst of all. The meat was disgusting, mushy, gelatinous and tasted bland. They also added spiced onion to the kebab which made it taste very weird. I asked for spicy but honestly there was just no flavour off it. One of the worst I’ve had around. I won’t be coming back.

17/09/2025: Double espresso and ham & cheese panini at Dublin Airport. The sweet tangy mustard makes it. Absolutely delicious!

02/09/2025: I spent 7.95 euro on a chicken tikka wrap. Absolutely no flavour at all. Utter waste of money. I would never purchase again from shop. I wasn't expecting miracles but a half decent wrap would have been most welcome.
