03/06/2026: The staff were helpful but unfortunately it was a busy sports day and I couldn't get the rugby on the screens. I ended up watching off my phone in the beer garden. Due to that, I gave a low rating for atmosphere but no other reason.

28/10/2025: I was really looking forward to treating myself to a nice sit-down meal at Lann after about a year away. As a former weekly regular, I always raved about their exquisite food – bursting with authentic flavors and always incredibly tasty. But my visit on October 28th evening sround 6:15 PM left me terribly disappointed and queasy. I ordered the BBQ pork ribs as a starter, followed by the duck with steamed rice as my main, plus a Coke. The new waitress kindly agreed to bring everything out together. After about 10 minutes, the ribs arrived first. The initial bites were decent, but by the third rib, I discovered one side was fridge-cold while the other was barely warm – clearly undercooked or poorly reheated. The duck arrived midway through, and I flagged the issue right away. The waitress was apologetic, consulted the chef, and comped the ribs, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, the main course was even worse. The duck was rubbery and lukewarm, with no trace of the crispy skin or sizzling presentation it used to have ( microwaved?) The rice was tepid, clumped, and felt like it had been microwaved rather than freshly steamed – zero steam or vibrancy. I barely touched it and left most of the meal behind. When it came time to pay (around £20, though it felt overpriced for the quality), the waitress asked for feedback. I was honest: the overall standard has plummeted. It seems like they might have a new chef, as nothing matched the high-quality dishes I remembered. The service was friendly, but the food was a far cry from the gem this place used to be. I felt unwell afterward and won't be returning. it's heartbreaking to see such a drop-off.

12/06/2026: My partner and child were at kylemore mcdonalds yesterday evening for a bite, halfway through their food they were approached by the security guard who demanded that they move to another seating area,my partner said they would be finished shortly and would be leaving, his tone and demeanour got aggressive, my partner asked to to speak with a manager at this point, the security guard walked away, shame on the security guard and shame on kylemore McDonald's for allowing this to happen, a mother and daughter going for something to eat and being subjected to this.

04/07/2026: Worst service I have ever had, they never get the full order, these people constantly leave parts of the order out, just went through the drive thru to get home and see that they forgot half the order, not the first time this happened.

17/05/2026: Yesterday at around 23:11 I placed a takeaway order inside the restaurant at McDonald’s Dundalk, and my order number was 074. After waiting a long time, I noticed orders 075, 076, 077 and 078 were all called before mine. I politely went to ask the staff member at the collection counter if there was an issue with my order, especially since I ordered using the self-service screen and thought maybe something had gone wrong with the system. The response I received was extremely rude and dismissive. She barely even looked at me while replying, spoke very quickly in an annoyed tone, then walked away before I could even understand what she said. What made the situation worse was that she immediately spoke politely and normally to the next customer, but changed her tone completely again when responding to me, as if I was bothering her simply for asking about my delayed order. I completely understand that staff can be stressed during busy shifts, but customers still deserve basic respect and professionalism. I asked calmly and respectfully, and there was no reason for the attitude I received. The whole interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Management seriously needs to look into customer service standards at this branch.

04/10/2025: Spent the afternoon with a group a fiends watching the football, was then told to leave as was being too loud. Which was totally uncalled for after spending over €500 behind the bar. As we left we were cheered by the staff, absolutely pathetic

03/09/2025: The woman stationed behind the counter exhibited a rather discourteous demeanor, suggesting a possible aversion to tourists. Upon placing my order for a pint, she appeared visibly perturbed, as though my presence was an inconvenience. When she eventually delivered the drink, I expressed my gratitude, yet received no response or acknowledgment in return. While it’s understandable that one may not particularly enjoy interacting with tourists, such encounters are an inherent aspect of working in a public house. That said, the overall ambiance and quality of the pour were commendable.

07/08/2025: Got a pizza ,never again I could not pick up a slice as the base was soo thin just impossible and grease floating at the top of it . It was a mess and did not taste like a pizza . And way over priced

18/01/2026: Extremely disappointing experience. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, there was a very unpleasant smell at the entrance, which already raised concerns about cleanliness, especially the bathrooms. We had a reservation for 1:00 PM, but once upstairs we were told the restaurant only opened at 1:30 PM, which made no sense. To make things worse, when we tried to order drinks, we were informed that drinks would only be available at 3:30 PM. This was not communicated anywhere in advance. This visit was meant to celebrate a special occasion — a birthday — and the lack of organization, poor communication, and overall unprofessionalism completely ruined the experience. Very frustrating, and unfortunately not a place we would recommend.

18/01/2026: Had one of the best experiences of desi cuisine in Dublin. Thanks to Sowra who helped me have the dishes to suit the weather and keep me relaxed at the same time. The dahi samosa chat is a must try and the daal tadka too! Shoutout to the team for hosting us. Keep it up guys!

04/05/2026: Hi my Christian i went to this supermacs with my last 7 euro got a burger and I had to wait 30 minutes for it then when I took a bite it tasted like shit and there was a hair in it I still eat it but didnt like the taste I will only come back if im hungry good staff though

30/04/2026: Rip Off. Couldn't believe they charged us 40 cents extra per Sausage Roll to heat them up!! Oddly wasnt extra heat up the Lasagne. Now that's what I call a hard neck. 2 words; NEVER AGAIN
