25/08/2026: I have ordered from here for a long time but last night myself and partner got a chicken curry the chicken was not done right the chips were only hard didnt taste right at all later that night we both got very ill getting sick and a temperature which disappointed me as it was always good , turned me off ordering again

10/09/2026: There are many restaurants in Limerick city, but I have always preferred dining at Bamboo because of its great taste and service. Yesterday, 9 September, was actually my 5th visit to Bamboo. As usual, I visited with my wife and daughter, and we ordered butter chicken and naan, which is my daughter’s favourite. I had also invited two friends, although initially they were not sure if they could make it. They joined us about 10 minutes after we arrived. When they arrived, I politely asked if we could move to a larger table. Unfortunately, the request was declined, even though the restaurant was very quiet at the time, with only around two tables occupied. I was told that the existing table was suitable for six people. However, initially the table had only been set with four plates, so the way this was communicated felt a little disrespectful and uncomfortable. Another thing I noticed was that, on our previous visits, we were always served papadums with three different chutneys, which we really enjoyed. This time, they were not offered to us, while I noticed another couple at a nearby table being served them. I am not sure why, and I didn't want to make an issue of it, so I chose not to ask. Our food, as always, was excellent. The butter chicken and naan were absolutely delicious. We ordered butter chicken, three butter naans, chicken chow mein/noodles and chicken soup for five people. Unfortunately, the service this time was very disappointing and, in my experience, the worst I have received at Bamboo. This is the first time I have ever felt this way about the restaurant, which is why I wanted to share the feedback. I genuinely like Bamboo and have returned five times because I enjoy the food, especially the butter chicken and naan. I hope the management will take this feedback positively and look into the service experience, because good food combined with good hospitality is what makes customers want to keep coming back.

They meet not by arrangement but by instinct, drawn to this place as if by some shared, unspoken understanding. There is a peculiar romance in the way they linger over their coffees and late‑night meals, exchanging nods, half‑smiles, and stories that dissolve into the warm air. The staff move with a brisk grace, as though they too are part of the nightly choreography, keeping the rhythm steady while the riders drift in and out like characters in a short, shimmering tale. McDonald’s Rathmines is not merely a stop along the way — it is a refuge, a rendezvous, a modern‑day speakeasy for those who traverse the city’s arteries. In its neon glow, one feels the faint pulse of something larger: camaraderie, ambition, and the quiet hope that tomorrow’s ride will be smoother, brighter, and touched by the same strange magic that fills this place after dark.

09/08/2026: NOT ITALIAN AT ALL!! This place is the best example of fake Italian food. The pizzas are nothing like authentic Italian pizza — not Neapolitan, not Roman, not anything remotely close. They charge €13 for a pizza that is stretched using a machine, which, as an Italian, I found extremely disappointing and disrespectful to the tradition. For my first course, I ordered the Polpette alla Pavarotti. The waitress wrote it down as “meatballs”, which is completely wrong because it is not the same dish at all and the recipe is entirely different. The preparation, ingredients, and even the concept do not match what is commonly understood as meatballs. When another member of staff brought the dish, he also referred to it as “meatballs,” which only reinforced how disconnected they are from the actual Italian name and traditional preparation. The sauce was watery and heavily seasoned with spices that tasted much more like Middle Eastern or Indian cuisine than Italian food. In fact, almost every dish we tried had flavors that reminded us more of Indian food than Italian cuisine. We obviously decided not to order dessert, as we didn't want to risk it again. The total bill for four people was around €100, which made the experience even more disappointing. In the end, it felt like a complete waste of both time and money. 05/05/2026: Historic building. Great location, to walk the streets and discover fun shops, restaurants, and pubs. Fantastic service! Decor is a bit sad and old.

27/06/2026: Very disappointed with the spicy bag. The portion was extremely small and came in a tiny takeaway box/carton, not even a proper bag. For the same price I pay in other places, I expected a normal-sized spicy bag, but this was nowhere near enough. It feels unfair to charge the same price while giving such a small portion. The food itself may be okay, but the value for money is very poor. I would not order this again unless they improve the portion size.

09/09/2026: I’m from Brazil and I absolutely love fish and chips. Without a doubt, Macari’s has the best flavour I have ever tried. Their garlic sauce is absolutely incredible! The quality goes far beyond the food itself — the packaging is excellent, and the delivery driver’s kindness really impressed me. I highly recommend it! When I go back to Brazil, I will definitely miss it. Congratulations to the whole team!

Food always cooked fresh to order & we had a long chat as well. Definitely recommend coming here if you're on you're way into Enniscorthy or on the way to the mountains of Rural Wexford. 10/10 ⭐
