04/10/2025: Spent the afternoon with a group a fiends watching the football, was then told to leave as was being too loud. Which was totally uncalled for after spending over €500 behind the bar. As we left we were cheered by the staff, absolutely pathetic

03/09/2025: The woman stationed behind the counter exhibited a rather discourteous demeanor, suggesting a possible aversion to tourists. Upon placing my order for a pint, she appeared visibly perturbed, as though my presence was an inconvenience. When she eventually delivered the drink, I expressed my gratitude, yet received no response or acknowledgment in return. While it’s understandable that one may not particularly enjoy interacting with tourists, such encounters are an inherent aspect of working in a public house. That said, the overall ambiance and quality of the pour were commendable.

31/10/2025: Staff are always courteous and deliver food with no haste.The place is always clean,toilets could be better as they look a bit rundown as well as upstairs area. Only issue is that it can be a bit rough at nighttime especially pearse street in general ,alot of loud youths hanging about and seems to be an issue at the moment.

01/08/2025: As we were in Mullingar for a few days and in search of places offering beverages and light meals, we came across Chocolate Brown. From the moment we entered the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and we were quickly seated and served. The coffees and toasted offerings were excellent and very satisfying. This establishment is definitely a pit stop above all in Mullingar. Do visit and you won't be disappointed.

16/03/2026: The food was quick and delicious! The quality of the food was top tier in addition to the speed it came to the table! Everything from the pancakes, avocado toast, omelettes, and French toast was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend!

13/03/2026: Stopped by at 9am on Sunday morning for a quick coffee but was told they still closed give a few min. Returned 30 min later with my niece who was having a birthday breakfast with me (she wanted pancakes) The staff seem very unhappy to be serving. Not a smile to be seen. The manner in which they spoke indicated that they may not have been schooled in the service industry. Their attitude ruined the morning. Coffee was tasteless, saucer dirty, wait for pancakes not worth it. Toilet was unkept and the seat cover had urine stains on it. Great way to ruin one’s morning with such staff. Save your time & go enjoy proper service & good coffee elsewhere.

11/01/2026: My partner and I had lunch here recently, things started out well, with an excellent pint of Chieftain craft beer, and a cosy fire on a cold January day, but what a disappointment the food was. My roast beef was overdone, served with just mash and boiled carrots and cauliflower, no sign of the other trimmings you might expect, roast potatoes? Yorkshire pudding? Horseradish sauce? The gravy was dismal and tasted only of packet gravy browning. Won't be eating here again.

31/12/2025: I have always enjoyed ordering from Domino’s Bray and have consistently appreciated the quality and taste of your pizzas. Until recently, my experiences have been very positive, which is why this particular incident was quite disappointing. While attempting to place an order over the phone, my call was initially answered by a lady who then passed it to another staff member who identified himself as Hithin. I was calmly explaining my order and specific instructions when he abruptly stated that the store was busy, told me to order through the app, and disconnected the call without any apology. I found this behaviour extremely discourteous and unprofessional. I called again shortly after, and the same lady patiently listened to my instructions before once again handing the call to him. On this occasion, he stated that my order could not be taken, claiming that instructions would not be accepted until next week and that only basic pizzas were being served. Once again, there was no attempt to apologise or communicate the situation politely. I fully understand that restaurants can be busy, but cutting a customer off mid-conversation without explanation or courtesy is unacceptable. A little patience and respectful communication go a long way, especially for loyal customers. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and appropriate steps are taken to ensure better customer service in the future. I would appreciate a response regarding this matter.

10/12/2025: Absolutely disgusted with the manager of Domino’s! I always order at least 3 times a week each order costing €40/50 as we are well knowing to dominoes even tho every time without fail they forget some of our food or dips or drink ect it still didn’t put us of until tonight !!! Tonight we ordered online after 40 mins they cancelled our order without ringing . When we rang the manager kept saying they have no delivery driver which was lies as my husband drove to the store and seen the driver as it also gave the option online ! the manager then proceeded to give me lots of cheek over the phone mimicking me saying hello hello on repeat pretending that he couldn’t hear me kept speaking over me while I was trying to order bare in mind I already placed two orders online and both was cancelled without reason Then hung me up three or four different calls. The manager should be ashamed of himself as to how he shouts over the phone to women. Glad I recorded this horrible experience I am extremely shocked as of how I was shouted at over the phone. Should be ashamed of yourself ! He refused to give me he’s name as a manger I think he should of ! Disgraceful!!!!!!

17/11/2025: I'd like to point out that my review refers only to the Mocha Beans guesthouse, which is located above the bar. My room was very small, with a bulky closet. Luckily, I didn't have a large suitcase, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to open it. The mattress is old and sagging, with springs that hurt my back. There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom, and to figure out how to use the shower, I had to call the owner because I wasn't told there was a button outside the bathroom to activate it. There's essentially no reception, and you're given an access code for the main door, which is the same for the room. I texted the owner several times in the days leading up to my stay to ask if it was possible to check in at 11/11:30 in the morning instead of 2:00 PM. He never answered, and when I called him after arriving, he showed up, saying the room was still occupied and that I had to return at 2:00 PM. I told him about my messages and that I hadn't received a response, but he showed no interest. Once I returned at 2:00 PM, I had to wait on the stairs because the cleaning lady hadn't finished. I had to ask for a hairdryer because there wasn't one in the room. I wasn't provided with a shower mat, and I only had a face towel and a large one. I struggled to sleep that night because of the mattress, and in the morning I woke up around 6:00 AM (the only window in the room is on the ceiling and can't be opened because it's too high, and there's no curtain). For what I paid, I didn't receive good service, and even the lady who prepared the room seemed very cold; she didn't ask if I needed anything. The cleanliness was passable. The only advantage is that it's twenty minutes from the city center. I definitely won't be returning.

19/10/2025: There is no check in as such for this bedroom so I can't rate service really. The room itself is clean and comfortable and an adequate size but there is nowhere to store clothes. There isn't enough room for a wardrobe. We were in room number 4 and the shower room isnt exactly ensuite but almost. It's opposite the room on a tiny off side corridor only for room 4. The shower room is spotless nicely tiled and the shower is lovely. There is no plug for the basin. There's no hair dryer or iron. The rooms are above a cafe so I think breakfast should be included. It is an easy walk into the centre of Galway city so perfectly situated.

23/01/2026: First time eating in the resturant, already loved the food from getting takeaways from there. Lovely experience, gorgeous Food and decent prices. Service was great. Would highly recommend for a delicious Indian mean in Edenderry. We will definitely be returning soon.

08/11/2025: Very bad experience over 2 hours to get delivered, rang up several times, management very unprofessional hang up the phone when I raised complaint. Food cold and soggy. Never again

10/03/2026: 25mins waiting for a boneless " banquet" and it was missing the mini fillets, and had no drink with it.🤦‍♀️

09/03/2026: The food came quickly, the service was good and the food was quite tasty.

08/12/2025: The curry was Devine ! And that's hard to say about curry. First class deserts and service too. Don't miss it !

30/10/2025: I ordered for delivery through uber eats and while I understand the food wont be as good as fresh, it was very bland and not appetising at all. On top of that, because the restaurant decided to deliver themselves, they demanded I pay additional delivery charges at the door. The driver was very unfriendly, intimidating and I did not feel safe as he was demanding extra physical cash. I will not be coming back here.

16/03/2026: Terrible! Counted 11 fries in a kids happy meal!!!! Adult large fries was the equivalent of a small in Dublin!

29/01/2026: Hi. I am a regular customer of Europa restaurant and ordered a delivery tonight from you. Let me add, the gentleman, the delivery driver and food are always excellent. What an absolute let down tonight. I ordered the chicken fillet box, two sausages and a fresh cod. The food arrived quick and hot. Unfortunately when I checked the fresh cod, it was around 80% batter. I mean the fish inside was so small, my wife and I deconstructed the fresh cod, and the cod on the small plate was literally less than whats in a small can of tuna. (The 80 cent tins). I called europa and spoke to a nice man who took my complaint to a lady (possibly a manager, not sure), and she replied to him that shes doesnt make the fresh cods and its not her fault. I heard her replying back to him in the background and as he brought the phone back to his hear to pass on what she said, I advised him that I heard heard her in the background. No offer of replacement, refund, apology, nothing. Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered through Uber Eats and will bring this to their attention. Ordered on the 29/01/26 at approximately 6pm, and the call was made approx 6:50 pm. I have never encountered such disrespect and disregard for a customer with a valid issue with their food. What an absolute letdown from Europa.

22/01/2026: Ok so in all fairness I’ve recently moved back to Dundalk and we have ordered food from Europa three times in the last 3 weeks . Today will be the last , and it’s not the fact that they are expensive it’s the fact that the food is just not that good . The chips are good though, mind you they are €4 . Hmm
