12/01/2025: Terrible chipper customer service is appalling we paid good money to order what food we wanted and then refused to give us breast of chicken. Grainne the daughter of the owner is very ignorant behind the counter and the chips are all burnt the burger tastes like charcoal! Very dry hardly any sauce and the lettuce is all gone off and brown! Get yereselves a good chipper and go to Dalys in Borris in Ossory!

14/01/2025: Busy day at the restaurant. Had to sit down at the delivery area with two young kids for few minutes. Manager arrived throwing us out. Asked to help us find a place instead. She told us she can’t be fighting for our place to sit with each and every customer…. We said ‚we’re Not looking for a fight and a place to sit down with two smallies’. Then she proceeded to inform us that we were meant to go for a take away. Luckily a place freed up few minutes later. Honestly not the best experience and customer service, very little consideration and language used by the manager was just appalling. She wouldn’t even try to fake politeness. Never again

08/01/2025: I had an incredibly positive experience at this evening, and I felt compelled to share my appreciation for the outstanding service we received. The manager on duty (mark or mac) not sure of name truly went above and beyond for my family, demonstrating exceptional awareness and attention to detail. My son is quite sensitive to loud noises, and upon noticing this, the manager approached our table with genuine concern. He kindly offered to turn the music down to create a more comfortable environment for us while we enjoyed our meal. This thoughtful gesture made a significant difference for our family. Additionally, the manager surprised us with two small toys, which he discreetly placed beside my husband so that my son wouldn’t see them right away. This kind act not only made our dining experience more enjoyable but also left us feeling incredibly supported. I am overwhelmed by the level of care and attention the manager exhibited during our visit. It's clear that he truly understands the importance of creating a welcoming atmosphere for families. Thank you for making our evening so special—we look forward to returning soon! Updated 29/12/24 Was in your restaurant this evening and was shocked to see the person on making dessert use her hands to pick the ice cream into the bowl we had order two small dessert and both times she used her hands to place the ice cream into the bowls please speak with her small dark haired girl had a dark blue shirt on her

19/12/2024: Ordered food from here on just eat at 6:30pm call them at 8:30 asking where my food is they tell me there’s bad traffic and that my food is next to be delivered I am a very patient person so I leave it. At 9:30pm 3 hours later I call them again and they say oh we are sorry it’s very busy. It takes 10 mins to get from this place to my house so you’re telling me they were in traffic for 3 hours. I was then asked as compensation if I want my food to be made hot 😂 HOT ??. It’s meant to be hot when I get it. I ask for a refund but as I ordered through just eat i have to go through just eat to get a refund. I finished work didn’t have time to cook and was starving so ordered food. I could have cooked a 3 course meal in the time I waited and been fed. Now I have to cook and am still starving. Horrible service just a joke. I’m a very lenient person so if I’m putting up this review you know I’m pissed.

13/11/2024: Got a quarter pounder and chips. Burger was very tasty. As the chips were cooked while I waited they were piping hot.

18/10/2024: The roll had one sausage and 2 pieces of white pudding,Asked for a small amount of red sauce,it was covered in sauce, never again

16/10/2024: Fantastic place, if you love eating and buying good fish it is the best place in Galway. Very kind, friendly and professional staff. Every time I pass through Galway it will be a fixed point to return to

21/11/2024: Amazing stuff, especially short black hair lady. She looked mean at first few minutes, but she was nice and polite after I ordered my sandwich. Also there was nice jazz music playing and cozy atmosphere. Coffee was 10/10! Highly recommend that place.

04/09/2024: Martina at Bliss, Ardee is an amazing skilled baker and a lovely lady. She made our wedding cake and it was beyond our expectations. As we had no idea what we wanted she met us at her lovely shop to discuss over excellent coffee. She helped guide us in our choice and we left the creative design to her. We were blown away on the day when a beautifully decorated cake was personally delivered to our venue and set up to perfection. It provided a lovely end to our wedding meal and enjoyed by our guests with ( thankfully) some left for us the following day. We can't thank Martina enough for the beautiful cake, her complete professionalism and being part of our fantastic day. Thank you Martina. Jennifer & Harry

10/07/2024: €9 for a slice of cheesecake and a cup of coffee, in Ardee! You would expect to pay that sitting outside on the Champs Elysee. Avoid, stop at a filling station. Response to owners: At the trivial level I feel that I was caught for a sucker, I’ll get over it and it won’t break me. At the more serious level any tourist who felt that they were similarly done over in Bliss is likely to avoid any other artisan tea rooms in the whole of Ireland. So one business that works to this business model will actually spoil things for so many other similar establishments. The cheesecake and coffee were fine but not exceptional. In any similar French town we see the pâtisserie and boulangerie. These businesses are typically family run and will have been in place for decades and will be still there well into the future. So many attempts at this in Ireland are nothing more than pop-up shops that last just a few years. I feel that crucial difference is that the French do it to make a living, many Irish do it to make a killing.

24/01/2025: This Costa is in a great location but so overpriced. My main problem is with management or lack of training. The staff are beyond inefficient. The tables and chairs are filthy, no tidy up, the queue is crazy, 3 staff behind the counter and they just cannot seem to get a good system going. No serviettes, no spoons. Beyond frustrating. Sandwiches are great but it would be cheaper sometimes to eat in a restaurant!!

13/01/2025: Went for a meal a few weeks ago and couldn't get over how bad this food was for the price they were asking for. I ordered a lasagne and when I got it, it was just lasagne no side salad or fries like you would get in any other restaurant and lasagne was tasteless. My boyfriend ordered steak, it was the thinest piece of steak and was completely overcooked and dry. It honestly looked like a piece of steak you'd get cheap in a supermarket. They offered no sauce and it came with 3-4 baby potatoes for over 20 euro. It was the first time I wanted to get up and walk out just from looking at the food but I'm just too polite unfortunately. Side note the wine tasted like it was from a bottle that was opened several days beforehand. Just save your money go somewhere else. Shocking how they get away with charging what they do for what they serve.

11/12/2024: Really inviting front of building, nice inside decent staff but the food was microwaved to within an inch of its life, dry tough reheated chicken, mash and veg again reheated, all very tasteless, over €16 for a lunch is alot especially when it’s quite poor quality! Shame, nice pub tho

23/12/2024: First time doing a big shopping in this store. The staff's manners are lacking in so many ways...very rude. The super scan was a joke compared to tesco. The Isles are too narrow,it was like queuing at a traffic light. The selection of food products was poor. The prices of the groceries where very high...day light robbery. Needles to say I will not be returning to this store.
