21/09/2025: Place was rough. And really dirty had to ask for table to be cleaned. If it wasn't a necessary stop to use bathroom wouldn't have stayed. Bathrooms needed to be cleaned badly also.

07/09/2025: Given zero stars, I work nearby this mcdonalds, I drove there expecting to go to get quick service got to speaker ting to make my order , guy goes hello be with you in a moment. I waited there for about 10 mins no one ever got back to me. Loads of cars behind me beeping so I drove around to the hatch snd no one there I beeped a few times no one came so I just drove off. Kip of a place

16/06/2026: Stopped into Zambrero in Dennehy’s Cross recently and was really impressed. The food was fresh, tasty and made quickly, even though it was busy. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and well kept. Great option if you’re looking for a quick, filling meal in Cork.

18/05/2026: Got 3 burrito last Friday night and omg totally disgusting. How can pulled beef smell like tuna. Absolutely poison. Avoid at all costs

14/08/2025: Great all round, our man Ivan knows his stuff. Chatty & intersting but not intrusive lovely suggestions on wine. We will be back. Get that restaurant back open with the smoker 😁 Maith thú x

12/08/2025: Thoroughly looking forward to stopping here again to source some delicious wine. A useful spot in Ireland for a nice bottle of your choosing. Fingers crossed we see the restaurant again soon but for now, a charming wine shop with some snacks. Thank you

24/01/2026: I ordered chicken curry, chips and egg fried rice. Unfortunately the most tasteless chinese I ever had. Horrible processed chicken. Curry sauce had zero flavour. May aswell be eating a bowl of water. Egg fried rice was bland and tasteless. The chips were small dry, hard re-heats.

02/01/2026: Got a takeaway from Cabra. Very nice. Food 10 out of 10. Quick delivery, friendly. Will use again.

06/04/2026: Spice bag comes with no veg and not much spice just salty. Got the satay sauce which is like a bowl of water and chicken curry very watered down again not much flavour won’t be getting it as a takeaway again!

04/03/2026: If i'm treating myself to a takeaway, this is usually where I order from. Their sweet and sour chicken is divine but it's a gamble whether you'll ache your jaw trying to chew it at times, which is a pity. Chips aren't great, usually cold and floppy. Egg fried rice is lovely! As is their chicken fried rice and BBQ sauce. 3/5 solely because the quality and texture of the food varies but the sweet and sour chicken generally is lovely.

06/02/2026: Pizza barely had a sauce was over cooked and the dough was chewy! I’m so disappointed. The jalapeno poppers weren’t fully cooked either, tired to put them in air fryer to make them more crispy didn’t work, no golden colour. And the wedges were inedible. I will never again order from here!!

30/12/2025: Horrible, disgusting, bad!!! Ordered takeaway for the whole fanily to save time and get a chillout evening free of cooking. the delivery took forever!! had to ring to see what was happening. got a dry "your food is on the way"... anothe 40 minuts later it arrived... ah well, we are busy... BUSY??? how's that my problem?? hire more staff, give a warning that you gonna be over an hour (!!!) food arrived only to go into the bin!!! after paying nearly 50 euro, binned the whole lot!!! the food was disgusting!! cold, greasy, tasted unfresh, awful looking and and even worse tasting. chips soggy, greasy, half of them burnt. kebabs soggy, veg looked unfresh, frozen in parts, bread soggy. looked like leftovers were thrown back together. garlic bread (how can you mess up garlic bread?? apparently, you can if you are Apache Pizza Gort!) wasn't soft, greasy and cold. after leaving a review, got a general copy-paste response from main branch asking to contact actual local branch (Gort) to see what was the problem and why food was so bad and delivery was so long... so like, after, i wasted time, money, had bad experience they want me to go back and see what is their problem that they cant provide a decent service?? seriously?.. never again!! horrible experience!

30/05/2026: am extremely disappointed with my experience at this pub. The day before our visit, I personally booked a table for five people because we wanted to watch a football match. I specifically asked for a table next to the TV, right by the big screen, and I was assured that this would not be a problem. However, when we arrived, the pub was completely full, and it was obvious that our reservation had not been properly arranged. The staff seemed confused about our booking. One waitress spoke to another, who then told us to wait, and it became clear that no table had actually been reserved for us. There wasn't even a reservation sign on any table. Eventually, we were simply given a random free table that was nowhere near the TV. When we explained that we had specifically requested a table next to the screen, we were taken to another table that was also completely unsuitable. To watch the match from there, we would have had to sit with our heads turned the entire time because of the awkward angle and poor layout. I honestly don't understand why the staff accepted our reservation and confirmed our request if they had no intention of honouring it. If you can't provide what was promised, be honest when taking bookings. Very poor organisation, poor communication, and a frustrating experience overall. This was my first experience at this pub, and it will definitely be my last.

26/08/2025: Often bought a few products produced by supervalu (Turkish sosages for cooking and a dessert with milk on the top) and 50 % of these products are went off despite the expire date is not even close. And prices of fruits too high. Bad experience

04/07/2025: The most expensive in all Europe for a box of 6 Tea cakes €3.99 obviously some 🤡🤡🤡 in Clones paying this exorbitant prices 🙃

21/04/2026: Has zero atmosphere and coffee is extremely overpriced. 4.20 for a very banal Americano is a bit ridiculous, even in Dublin 4! The black walls and boring, basically non existing decor have all the charm of a depressing school cafeteria. Not sure who the target market is, but certainly not me. You get the impression they were going for something with this look but just never got anywhere. Hopefully they’re reaching some target market but I’m certainly not it. A couple of doors away both Donnybrook Fair and Happy Out offer a much better experience with more reasonable prices to boot! The result of this greedy pricing is that it put me off trying anything else there for good. If you disappoint me with a simple Americano, I won’t take the chance on a cake.

02/05/2026: Very Disappointed. Last night I ordered a cheeseburger with additional bacon medium meal and a chicken burger meal. I have attached a pic of the Cheese burger. Seriously!!! A 5.5 inch bundy and a 3 inch patty!. The fact that someone put this together and thought it was OK to give to a customer is shocking. I will think twice before using this branch again.

17/04/2026: Fantastic staff , helpful and efficient & professional 👏. I was expecting cold burger & chips because The food was prepared so fast. But in fairness that wasn't an issue. I visited mid to late lunchtime, and no que. To be honest my only disappointment was the very small portion of fries 🍟 ( please see photo ).

A bartender who treats you condescendingly from the start and even forbids you from participating in an internal discussion because it doesn't reflect his own. Absolutely fascist idiot and a disgrace to this beautiful country. Feck this cunt.

30/05/2026: Ordered a takeaway. It was horrible. It tasted stale; the chicken in the main meal was rock hard, and especially the satay skewers, dry and hard as a bone. This place has gone downhill rapidly.

29/05/2026: Ordered a soup to go, got home and seen more soup in the bag than in the actual container... such a shame

05/06/2026: Do not be fooled by the simple and slightly messy look. The food and service more than make up for it! Everyone seems to be happy with their job, they treat you very well with a smile on their faces, that is so hard to find in hospitality nowadays. 🥇 Well done to them and thanks for a lovely brunch😊.

22/02/2026: My breakfast was served long before my partners arrived to the table even though we ordered the same breakfast at the same time! Grabbed the occasional coffee/hot chocolate here when doing our shopping in Dunnes but they are very inconsistent. 90% of them are not worth the money. Cold lattes and hot choc and sometimes way too little chocolate in the hot choc. Like drinking foamy warmish milk with a few marshmallows on top that can't even melt. Won't be wasting our money here again.
