The best restaurants

25/08/2026: Ok had eat here last year passing through. We were very happy with the meal However stopped recently disappointed We had portion of garlic mushrooms and onion rings both were way overcooked that all was left was hard batter nothing inside at all I had a meat kebab, well plenty of veg but very little donar meat, need to put plenty of meat in So because of this I have to try and help Maybe because only one person working and three large orders come n at the same time. Quality wins the day at all times Will give it a try again, hope it is better

20/05/2026: So nice people . One of the best Pizza we habe ever raten Nice price. Thank you

16/08/2026: We have been customers with Sunrise for a while now. The food is usually okay. We got 3in1s to try.... AVOID buying this... the chips are old not fresh and dont taste nice at all 🤢

19/07/2026: Cmon guys. We got spring rolls AND prawn toast and you gave us no free sweet and sour sauce. Not cool. Very dry. Also, baaad spice bag. Soggy chips and very little seasoning. Also consider adding some cashew nuts to your Duck Cantonese. Also change the sauce doesn't really taste like much. Get a Tenda for market research purposes and come back to me

24/08/2026: I took a menu and it was delicious. It can be expensive if you don't take a menu. The milkshakes are really big. I'd suggest people with small appetites to take the small size. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

23/08/2026: Staff are very accommodating and food is fabulous

31/08/2026: Lovely, friendly, polite staff, excellent pints. Crowd can skew young on a Saturday (like everywhere else in town), but it's a solid pub and the staff are extremely diligent in their ID checking requirements. Great pint to be had as well at €6 and no food eaters taking up room if you're only for pints.

01/06/2026: Very strong smell from rotting lemons on entrance to bar. Very offputting 🙏 Had to go outside thankfully 😎 out

20/07/2026: We recently ordered food from Heaven Pizza for our daughters party. Staff were so helpful and kind. We went for the Party Package 2 (6 x 16" pizzas, 4 x chips, 4 x goujons and 3 bottles of chosen drinks, and dips. Such amazing value for €110. They delivered to our house on the day and everyone complimented the food. We will definitely be going to Heaven Piza again. Thank you for all your help! 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

18/03/2026: I was waiting nearly 2 hours and then the delivery driver came and he was really disrespectful and tried to scam me of my money

13/05/2026: Number of recent incidents including last night listening to customers sitting at the bar roaring homophobic, racist and sexist slurs whilst the barmaid giggled along with them. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Do better.

10/04/2026: For the B&B they manage above the pub, I could not find a spot to write the google review so writing it here. I left one on booking.com anyway but its important to leave one here too - The carpets were not clean, red wine stains on it (or blood, who knows). The wifi did not work. The TV did not work. For lighting the room only has one option, the ceiling lights and they were really very bright. There was no dustbin in the room. The blinds were not blackout, lights would seep through from the street. The pillows on the bed didn't look clean, pillow covers, thankfully there was another set of pillows in the cupboard that looked fresh (pillow covers too). Lastly, the noise from the pub/bar downstairs at night does not help at all. Got really loud till about 1-2 am on a Saturday night. Lastly, it was very very expensive for what was offered, very poor quality stuff.

31/07/2026: I Ordered pizza as per the meal deal advertised outside the door. 2 x medium pizzas. I also ordered dips and was charged €25. When I got the receipt, I saw that the dips were free but they charged me €25 for the €21.95 deal. I asked the girl that served me and she said that deal wasn't available anymore. But the sign outside the door said it was? It's €3, not a big deal, but it's clearly advertised as €21.95. I got no satisfaction from the girl that served me, I have emailed directly and no one has been able to answer me as to why this happened.

28/03/2026: After a slight issue with the pizza we ordered, we received stellar customer service to remedy the issue and were delighted with the support we received from the staff today. The food itself was exactly what we would expect from Four Star but tasted all the better because of the brilliant experience. Will be returning!

06/09/2026: I've eaten here whenever I visit Monaghan and the food is always perfect, and the owner / manager is a really nice guy. Extremely efficient and well run takeaway .Highly recommended

15/08/2026: Great food and always great service

25/08/2026: Freshly battered fish was so nice we returned numerous times over our holidays. Such a friendly spot, great service, got a lovely gesture of a free icecream for our frequent visits. Lovely family

20/08/2026: The burgers are excellent, the small fries are huge! The price is truly unbeatable!!! Each burger is prepared right before your eyes.....

02/09/2026: Staff, especially the managers, are absolutely horrible. A couple months ago, I witnessed a manager verbally abuse an employee, telling them to kill themself. I reported it to head office and haven’t seen that manager since but the new one is also rude to customers. Men’s toilets are currently out of order, meaning we have to use the disabled bathroom - which has a broken lock. Food isn’t great either. Only good thing about it is you don’t need a code to use the bathroom like other locations.

17/08/2026: Ordered for delivery, food was fast but maybe warm at best, food delivery was right but there was no dips and the milkshake was melted. My partner got a coke zero and was very happy with the ice

27/08/2026: I ordered a takeaway - sweet and sour spare ribs followed by sweet and sour chicken. Both dishes were delicious, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Excellent food and highly recommended. — Conleith M. Quigley

14/05/2026: We eat Kites regularly, somoly because it's excellent. .

25/08/2026: This is a neighbourhood gem, especially if you need a birthday cake. I’m not sure people are aware that this bakery can make the most beautiful (and custom) birthday cakes. I have made several last minute requests for Victoria sponge, cream, strawberry birthday cakes and every time, they are so helpful, nothing is a problem and they create delicious cakes! This time though, I had a very special request for a 2 year old birthday cake, much more extravagant. Once again, they were so helpful. Denise jumped on the phone with me to discuss, send me some pictures of options and just went above and beyond. Just LOOK at this gorgeous cake!!!! 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Denise and team, I’ll be ordering all my cakes from you in the future.

08/08/2026: generous sized americano, delicious oreo cream scone and staff were very pleasant. Outside seating was good

28/08/2026: Ordered food came quickly came with no drink and put wrong condiments on food that I specified I only wonted on one of my dishes

10/08/2026: Highly recomend jimmys got the party deals saturday the 8th of aug loads of food on the platters fresh and tasty enjoyed by everyone plenty of dips aswell

28/12/2025: The most amazing Baileys cheesecake 😋😋😋

23/12/2025: This is one of the nicest friendliest restaurants in killarney love going to meet my son for coffee Toasties cream cakes and the only place to get spelt bread 🤗💚Staff are just amazing 😍 Happy Xmas to all Marion & Joseph xx

18/09/2026: Terrible service from Saif, we came through the drive thru and he completely messed up our order!! The new bbq steakhouse crispy chicken was really nice

15/09/2026: I paid in the drive trough came home to eat my meal they gave me 5 onion rings instead of 8 that a little under half missing and they were rock hard
