18/05/2026: Would give it zero stars if I could. We went and the bouncers were so rude. They mocked us and then after I called them out, they refused to let us in once we got to the front.. mind you this is after we paid and mind you they wouldn’t give us back the full amount refund. 0/0 .

15/04/2026: Excellent experience in KFC on our visit to Dundalk. The food was perfection, hot and fresh. Ice cold drinks and the tables and seating area were spotless. Leigh, who served us, was pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely quick in handing us our order. We will be back!!

28/06/2026: I being a customer of Killashee for years and I had to say still one of my favorites places but today food at Oak and Anvil disappointed me. Our bill was €150 for 2 adults and 1 baby. Starters were good but mains fall out. Burger €25, small and thin patty with huge bun and steak sandwich that was on a pita bed with almost no aoili and had to say €26 for almost no steak on the sandwich. No problem with a new concept of food but quality was not as usual. Also, we order 2 desserts, one of them was a pavlova, flavour wise was good but big big chunks of fruit which was not enjoyable to eat as was actually hard to eat. Staff were nice, polite and professional but probably due to a lack of staff service was extremely slow. We need to chase them constantly to pay or to order more. Hope the management take the reviews in consideration. Also, a couple of weeks went to the leasure center and bought 3 times banoffee dessert from the coffee shop (€6 each) and had not even 1 slice of banana. Thought was only bad luck the first time but happen 3 times. Quality at Killashee was always good but looks like si falling down badly lately and not good for what you paying.

26/05/2026: Based on the review, I wasn't immediately impressed. The reality is that the food is tasty, the staff is incredibly attentive, and the atmosphere is good! Even our toddler finished his plate completely!

23/04/2026: The food was ok, one side of the pizza was burnt and I paid 5.- extra!! for catupiry in the crust which they didn’t do. Tried to reach out but got to response. Overpriced for what they delivered.

06/05/2026: Charged for an order on their website which they claimed not to have received. They didn't seem particularly concerned, had to get a refund from yoyo and wait 3-5 days. Curry house didn't seem to be aware they have an online ordering system.

23/06/2026: When we arrived we ordered 2 matchas with a Cup of ice on the side, The barista has served us in bad ways and with a bad face. We ordered a brownie to accompany it and it was so hard that we couldn't eat it. The matchas didn't taste like anything, they were bad. We won't return

24/05/2026: The worst Insomnia branch for a Caramel Ice Cap.I regularly order the Caramel Ice Cap from other branches, and it is always creamy, rich, and delicious. This location completely ruins it.My drink was incredibly watery, bland, and tasted like basic iced coffee with absolutely no caramel syrup. When I complained, the barista asked me should i refund or make one more , I asked for a remake good one instead. She made me wait 10 minutes without ever telling me it was ready.To make matters worse, the second drink was identical to the first—still zero caramel syrup and completely watery. Terrible drink quality and even worse customer service. Avoid this branch if you want a proper Ice Cap

30/04/2026: Just arrived home with an order i collected. Ordered a spice bag- absolutely covered in chilli seeds (not seasoning), chicken was like rubber & the same colour as the chips (pale yellow) didnt even come with curry sauce. It was absolutely disgusting, worst food ive ever eaten!

23/10/2025: This was the most expensive breakfast I have ever had anywhere in the world. One small piece of toast, two small eggs and a few small pieces of bacon - €14. I asked for an additional piece of toast and was told that I need to get an additional portion of toast (2 slices) for €3.50. So for €17.50, I would actually have had a normal sized breakfast. This is how much I have paid for a continental breakfast in a hotel!!!! Food was average, came lukewarm. Ordered large cappuccino and it came with powdered cocoa with sugar on top. Without asking if I actually take sugar. The wait staff was nice but the rest of the experience was ridiculous. Never again.

22/08/2025: No puedo creer lo mal que le ha ido a Solo Café, Killiney, porque me encantaba. Todo fue horrible. El personal era realmente grosero y nos sentimos como si fuéramos un inconveniente al ordenar. La comida estaba literalmente tirado en la mesa y no recibimos nuestras bebidas hasta después de la comida, a pesar de que pedimos dos veces. La calidad real de la comida también ha ido terrible. Mi tortilla era dura y no comestible y venía con un montón de pasta horrible (decía ensalada en el menú), pero la camarera ciertamente no estaba feliz de hacernos saber en qué consistía una ensalada. Nunca volveré después de esa experiencia.
