14/01/2025: Burger was very good, very generous portion of chips, friendly staff, good value for money

24/11/2024: Neither the chefs or much of the waiting staff really seem to care about the place at all. We were only 1 of 2 tables in the place when the chefs put up our burgers under the lights before we had even finished the starter. Sent my food back because there was a half of a chicken breast missing from my burger which had been very clearly sliced in half horizontally, only to be told that it was “butterflied” and it was handed back to me. Mentioned it on the way out again, but the guy on the till wasn’t phased. Eating out had gotten so expensive - I’m just annoyed that we didn’t spend our money somewhere else where we weren’t rushing out the door just so that we could save our evening.

28/10/2024: Service is awful. Had to wait 30 minutes to get our orders taken, we got there at 11:30 just to be told that they no longer had breakfast menu. There was about 4 waiters and only the young lady looked like she was doing anything, all others walking around looking lost. Had to ask them if they could take our order and still waited another 10 minutes... people that were seated after us got their orders taken before us. We understand that it was busy, but why do that then? After being given our menu, the waiter came to ask for our order about a minute after - like he was rushing us after making us wait for so long. We ordered and after not even getting our drinks in the next 15ish minutes we had to leave as we were gonna be late for work. First time going and last too, shame because restaurant looked nice and the food in other tables looked good too.

28/01/2025: Very impatient service. The manager lady was really impatient and rude while taking the order.

14/11/2024: Just picked up something that was supposedly a mild satay. It is and was absolutely disgusting and thrown in bin.

21/12/2024: Comida fresca de excelente calidad, gran selección. Gran personal, servicio, lugar encantador. Generosas ollas de té de hojas frescas. Volveré.

06/12/2024: Poached eggs & bacon, eggs not cooked bacon cremated. Coffee was bitter then the mother in law. 👎 Bristol Coffee. Tea good👍 Pancake 🥞 why too syrupy Bacon 🥓 burnt 🔥 Very disappointed Will not be giving them another chance. 2nd time here Both times, not worth the money. Sorry Renzo 😞 2/10

23/12/2024: Elegancia atemporal. Un menú dedicado al buen gusto y todo sabe muy bien. Hay tranquilidad y calidad en los días previos a la marca y los influencers. Una experiencia refrescante que espero volver a visitar una y otra vez.

28/10/2024: La decoración es anticuada, el servicio era demasiado - 5 empleados están de pie allí mirándote fijamente y esperando a que termines tu comida. La comida era excepcionalmente fresca - me encantó mi lenguado. No hay privacidad en la mesa

22/01/2025: I had lunch here, the halloumi blaa. It was delicious and came with a very generous bowl of homemade chips. Very affordable and everything tasted freshly made. I’ll be back!

18/01/2025: Hi Guys got a gift card from a friend for Christmas which led us to the Clink for the first time, great food very large portions and excellent friendly staff nice to have another place to visit in Carlow town will be back

12/12/2024: Very poor Tandoori chicken. So bland and no flavour. The salad must have been weeks old in the fridge before being served.

26/01/2025: Food quality dropped dramatically last couple years in this location KFc not recommended Staff a bit Rude time to time. Toilets are absolutely disgusting, not clean at all. Not recommended. Price increase but food quality is getting lower..

11/01/2025: Went at 12am when they opened and I swear they gave me chicken and chips from the day before because they just opened and the food was cold and flavourless even the chips were cold.

29/12/2024: Good food, a bit overpriced but tasty. Staff were friendly, just giving four stars because the food took a while to be ready, so the kitchen could be a bit faster.

27/12/2024: For was ok. TGIF standards. The manager of the restaurant is amazing. Top notch hospitality and on demand modifications to the drink. Loved it.

26/12/2024: I ordered drunken noodles and was given pad thai with tofu instead. I said I received the wrong item and was told they are the same dish. They are not the same dish having eaten it several times and in Thailand. Very disappointed.

08/12/2024: the ordering process was difficult the app didn't work, for the same order that was placed on the website, the app kept saying Product category does not match Product quantity or something equally obscure, therefore was unable to take advantage of your -20% app offer

13/11/2024: Got myself a wee spicy box after getting turned away from smacks but that's a story for another day nonetheless daycent wee bite to eat .

29/08/2024: Food is so fresh and full of flavours. Staff are very helpful and delivery service was quick. Absolutely delighted with the food and service definitely will be back. Also good price for great quality food.

13/10/2024: It is trange we came at 16:28 to eat their grate soup, but their staff lady sad that it is only take away service👀, but there are was a lot of other people sitting and having food inside, free places was too. Very strange why they didn’t want see us as clients inside 🤷‍♀️

10/01/2025: I adore the food and the prices bring everyone back, staff are very lovely and there are lovely seats outside with blankets that you can sit in the sun in. I live locally so I tend to go a lot, and I’ve encountered one problem that does kind of bring down the quality of the cafe/bakery. If you do want to sit in, I would imagine you would like your food heated. Every time I’ve gone here the food like scones, apple tartlets, brownies etc. when asked to be heated, always come out luke warm or practically cold. It’s not nice as the staff are sometimes by themselves and if you have a few things you feel bad asking for it to be re heated. Now this is the only thing that brings down the high quality of this place, I cannot stress this enough the baked goods are perfection. Would %100 recommend to get bread and any baked goods for take away, you will never ever regret it.

04/12/2024: Birthday cake from here (Victoria sponge) was phenomenal. Both a glorious taste from childhood and a modern elegance. We loved it!!

03/02/2025: Dreadful, dreadful , dreadful. Service unbelievably slow, foreign staff don’t understand what you are asking for. We ordered a marguerite pizza and after half an hour it still wasn’t out and they had made a marguerite cocktail instead!!! The foreign guy proceeded to argue with us that we ordered a cocktail. Zero cop on!!

02/02/2025: It's alright. It's not fine dining. It's middle of the road, better than fast food but not haute cuisine. Can't complain because of the prices which are very reasonable. I ordered one of the 'gourmet' burger options. Definitely a better burger than say McDonalds but the meat tasted like it must have been a frozen burger patty. I wouldn't describe it as gourmet. I could make a better burger by buying mince from a butcher etc. and it would taste better. I know what Wetherspooons offers is casual dining and drink offer with prices to match so can't complain really. If I was going again I would probably try the curries, pastas or pizza. If I want a good steak or a burger I'd probably just go to the butcher and cook myself.
