03/12/2024: Normally always get chinese here got 1 tonight and it was an absolute disgrace as greasy as its possible to get food no black beans in a black bean dish feck all sauce and just an absolute disgrace,it's going down hill lately,people work hard foe there money and I won't be wasting mine here again.

21/01/2025: Great Service, great Food. You would not think as the inside does look a bit worn off. But food is great and price wise 10 EUR for burger, side and coke (or milkshake) is great value. Just please one note to management, please renovate and this place would be even more fantastic. UPDATE 2 Years Later : Food and Service is still fantastic and the restaurant has been renovated. Prices are still cheap compared to the competition (10.99) and include still he same.

18/01/2025: I'd rather do a bushtucker trail than eat this again. My wife did not even touch her meal when it came out , they would not even give back money but took of 5euro of bill instead. Burgers like if there boiled , Not good a tall

20/09/2024: Very disappointed. Order for delivery after a busy week and part of our order never arrived. Soggy chicken Nuggets, completely inedible. And to have the cheek to charge almost 5euro for food that can not be consumed. Cold chips too. Absolute waste of money. Will.be a very long time before we support local again.

27/10/2024: I went to Olives & Figs Bistro for dinner, and it was a complete disappointment. The man at the bar directed me to the waiter, Paul, for a table. After a few minutes of waiting, he told me there wasn’t a table and suggested I sit at the bar instead. I waited 10 minutes at the bar without even being given a menu. Finally, out of frustration, I ordered a pint and took a guess that they’d have fish and chips since I still had no idea what was on the menu. Food was good, I’ll give them that, but the service was appalling. If you’re looking to feel ignored and unwelcome, this is the place for you.

18/12/2024: Came home from work at 10 o clock and decided to order Chicken fillet burger meal ( Plain Burger ) .. … Received my food And Got the Wrong order EVERYTHING ON THE BURGER and Something else I didn’t order… After waiting 25 more minutes Got my Burger replaced And again the WRONG ORDER A Normal chicken burger ???? Staff So Rude over the phone ….. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM HERE.! I USE TO ORDER ALL THE TIME

30/10/2024: Very nice little bistro, beautifully decorated, lovely place. Food was delicious, generous portions and good value. I love their Sweet potato and lentils Dahl. Very good kids menu, lots of choices. Kids had the pizza, it was huge! The cheesiest pizza we have ever tasted. They got drink and ice cream with the pizza, all was 10€. Staff was very nice and friendly, it just felt like they needed more people on, it was too busy. Overal it's great place for family meals, great value for money and delicious food.

29/07/2024: Very quiet . Chips wore very stale and cold. We got super mega meals and the burgers wore the same size as the kids burger meals. Not worth the price . Service was fast, makes you think how long the food was actually out for. Anyways won’t be going back.

13/11/2024: Very nice pub. Old wood style with a fire out back. Large comfy couches in the front. A good trad session every Wednesday 9:15 to 11.

12/01/2025: I am ABSOLUTELY APPALLED by the service my family member got today !! We are regulars for years and that is the way they were treated today, and for it the be the owner to have that reaction towards a regular customer is an absolute disgrace. The ladies that work there are fantastic they always greet you with a smile, but safe to say because of the owner!! they will NOT be getting a thing from us after that. I’m sickened!!

17/12/2024: Old Style chipper. 2 Cod 12 euros large chips 4.50. Best chips in Glanmire. Best Fish in Glanmire. Excellent value.

04/01/2025: Order a festive drink, didn't like it as it was too sweet, so I asked for more milk, the girl offered to send it down to the table for me, I was expecting just adding cold milk into it, but she ended foaming the whole drink and give it back to me, and also offered that if I still not like the drink she can make another drink instead. I find the service one of a kind, she is great at making the customer feel good, will definitely come back again! I came to the coffee at a Saturday morning, 4 Jan 2024 to be exact.

03/01/2025: Go to @tandavlogs on tik tok to see videos I ordered 2 spice bags, Thai green curry and rice. The spice bags tasted really good kind of a sweet chilli flavour not your usual salt and pepper. The chicken was soft and easy to bite into like sweet chilli chicken balls and there was more chicken than chips which basically never happens. The Thai green curry was also made quite well not overpowering and flavoursome with vegetables and prawn. 8/10 would highly recommend.

12/11/2024: Said I would try it,wasn't that hungry so ordered 2 tom yum soup and a spice bag,soup had no lemon grass,scallion,nothing just salty with a chunk of chewy squid,and two big mussels in it,and tasted strong fish,spice bag just ok,stick to my oriental house.

22/10/2024: By far the best fast food outlet in Thurles. On An extremely rare occasion the chips may not be up to standard but 99.9% of the time I get a really good meal. Portion size is good. You may sometimes have to wait a while, but that's only because of the takeaway being full of hunger souls.. Definitely worth a visit..
