The best restaurants

08/09/2026: They weren't wearing gloves while touching and cooking the food 🤮. Worker was scratching himself, touching non sanitary surfaces then put hands on the food being served. Complained to manager to which they responded with "they wash their hands".

28/08/2026: Burgers good, wings absolutely revolting!!! Iv had lock delivered multiple times and wings have been ok, this time was a disaster, I requested well cooked and loads sauce and I got the complete opposite, went into the bin!!! They only do a couple of dishes, it’s so pathetic to get it so wrong!! Zero standard’s, €11 for MUCK ! Won’t ever order again, il spend my money on company’s that actually provide decent quality food !

15/05/2026: A very cool Irish pub experience. Fun locals and friendly 🤪. Food is typical Irish fare.

11/05/2026: Good. taste. Food. Good Dining Place. Kind Hearted Man -Reception

07/05/2026: Thanks for the late evening fish and chips, it was excellent food and great value for money!

08/08/2026: We had a lovely experience. The food was delicious, coffee and hot chocolate were gorgeous and the service and atmosphere were perfect. Added bonus being very good value. Would highly recommend.

21/07/2026: Waited my whole lunch break for a sandwich. Did not receive the sandwich. Waited over 40 minutes for a simple toasted sandwich on a relatively quiet day with lots of empty tables. Wont be returning

12/07/2026: delivery driver went above and beyond to satisfy my needs, my order arrived 30 minutes earlier and i wasn’t at the hotel and he took extra care to ensure it would remain at reception. pizza is lovely and milkshakes are superb!

20/05/2026: Kebabs are too small for the price. Staff don't interact Much lacking Friendliness. Nothing Unique about the food.

18/09/2026: A wonderful team lunch at The Montenotte Hotel, where the beautiful setting, panoramic views and attentive service made for a truly memorable experience. The vegetarian selection was slightly limited, but the wild mushroom pappardelle with Scotch egg was exceptional — one of the finest pasta dishes I’ve had. The confit potato gratin was equally delicious, and the chocolate fondant was the perfect indulgent finish. An elegant dining experience with wonderful attention to detail. Everything from the food and service to the ambience was outstanding.

16/09/2026: The only thing good about this restaurant is the view/outdoor sitting area, the service was inefficient, waiter forgot our still water but added to the bill, forgot to serve potatoes as part of the meal, the foods were in miniature portions for they price they cost and nothing exceptional about the flavours.

24/05/2026: The courier was delivering sushi in the sun with no special packaging — and sushi has raw fish in it. No cooling bag, nothing. The raw fish smells strongly, the sushi is falling apart, and it looks like it was made in unsanitary home conditions rather than in a restaurant

24/05/2026: just avoid at all cost, food quality and safety in BIG question, but you can try if you want sushi with hot basmati rice and smelly raw fish

01/06/2026: Lovely cafe and quick service. Perfect for on the go breakfast whilst the car was charging

25/05/2026: Amazing food and great atmosphere! The curry tikka wrap and oriental noodles were delicious!

18/07/2026: Amazing. Singapore chow mein 😋 spicy and full of flavour. The staff was really friendly and fast. A must stop if you passing by.

07/07/2026: Had a gorgeous family Saturday lunch here and the food was excellent and decent prices. Staff were friendly. Love lotus house. Will definitely return.

08/09/2026: The staff are very nice and funny….Elizabeth is very nice.

06/09/2026: Service is slow, food is good and the drive through is unnecessarily tight.

22/07/2026: Great service great staff great food

19/07/2026: Hugely inconsistent quality. I order the same pizza every time. Half the time they get it right and it’s a great pizza. The rest of the time it’s pot luck; I get a dry, overcooked pizza missing key ingredients. Very disappointing.

10/09/2026: Do the manager even bothers to recruit professional staff and with the minimum of modales and kindness? The staff, special the white, blonde and overweight woman is very rude. She doesn’t even reply to anything you request or ask. I understand that they are tired of working all the day but at least she can say “Hi, what can I get for you?”.

08/09/2026: This place was a quick stop while we waited for a bus. The food was not bad and the service was okay. There were some dirty tables as well as the restrooms being dirty.

24/05/2026: The worst soft surf ice cream, one completely collapsed because the machine didn't have time to freeze it fully, also it was an odd beige colour. And the amount of sprinkles given was scant. Coconut latte was awful too.

23/05/2026: Good Coffee and cakes.... nice ambience

12/05/2026: Excellent quality pastries and coffee. You'd think you were in France. I highly recommend it!

21/02/2026: Really excellent quality and consistent. I travel to Sligo frequently and I make it a priority to get brioche for the kids plus any assortment of pastries, sausage roles, and jambons.

24/07/2026: Very nice owner. The espresso was amazing.

17/07/2026: Ordered takeout and went for the southern fried fish box and curry sauce for €14.80 I was very hungry and the portion size did not disappoint. The chips were cooked just right, with a good sized portion of curry sauce and the fish was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! Getting hungry again just thinking about it! Will definitely order here next time I'm in town and highly recommend the fish box, especially if you're hungry!
